Great job!!! Thanks, and again, wonderful job!

After a long day going up against death and slogging it out (I'm a nurse) I love to chill and watch Al and his crew do good things for people having a hard time. Y'all are the best!
"Going up against death..." what? What does that mean? 😳 A nurse is not even a first responder, how could you in anyway be facing life threatening danger?
Many years ago I started a lawn care company with only one push mower, at the age of 14,by the time I was 17 l had many power mowers and trucks. So I know how hard this work is. This guy is an ANGEL! I guess hard work IS good for you.
You and A.P. are awesome!!! I really hope that one day John Deere sponsors you because you guys make the mower they make look indestructible! Keep up the great work you guys are doing and I pray God blesses you both greatly!
My sentiment exactly John Deere could not buy this kind of advertising. Sponsoring a hard working guy like this would get them customers and good will which corporate America lacks in many ways.the key word in bottom line is bottom.
You know, one of the great things about you is you NEVER complain. No matter how tough or overgrown these yards are!! That takes a man of great patience. To continue on some of these yards, for free, for DAYS at a time, is a heck of a good natured person with the right work ethic. Nice to be able to watch you work!
He makes money from youtube ads. That's why he doesn't complain. It's his job. The only difference is who pays him. Which isn't to say that what he's doing isn't good. I think it's a good way to blend charity and business. People in need receive help, while advertisers foot the bill. But to say that he's a "good natured person with the right work ethic" might be a bit much. He's just another guy trying to make it in the world just like everyone else. He just found a good way of doing it that lets him combine doing right by himself with doing right by others.

I used to work in a landscape and lawn mowing company in Memphis. Once my military contract is over, I will do the same job you are doing as a way of giving back to the community. It is all about creating an impact in people's lives one at a time.
Wow, that city Mayor should send you a hefty thank you check for that heaven work you and your assistant did on that vacant land. That's a very nice rural neighborhood, and you spiffed it up five notches. 👏
Agreed. The two of 'em doing that has drastically increased the likelihood that a house flipper, contractor, or over-zealous average person will purchase the property. Cities don't earn property tax on vacant lots, yo. By clearing this miniature jungle, it'll entice someone to purchase the house, thus getting it back to a livable state and restoring the city's revenue flow from that particular property. The mayor and the city are directly benefitting from their work.
@@yesterdayschunda1760 I always think "urban neighborhoods" and "rural areas". Rural areas are sparsely populated so it doesn't create neighborhoods. But I could be wrong.

Hey Al, love the videos man. Rather than drive around looking for places to cut, you should go to the Bylaw enforcement office and ask what lawns have notices. And ask them what lawns they feel the people there could really use the help. Rather then cutting a lawn at an abandoned house you could do an elderly person that is at risk of a big fine. :)
My thoughts exactly G. Landry. This house is likely in foreclosure and if not bank-owned now, it will be soon and I’m sure the bank can afford to pay someone to take care of their property. If you’re looking for content, imagine how awesome it would be when the grateful, elderly, infirm owner comes out to thank you.
As a motorcyclist, I appreciate the effort you make to NOT blow clippings into the street, while you mow. I see so many lawn services that (in spite of the ordinance not to) mow the curb row with discharge pointing into the street. I nearly went down in a blind curve due to it being covered with wet grass clippings, from his discharge pointing out. (If a car would have been in the opposite lane, it would have been a head on!) I stopped and tried to educate him. The dude said "I blow it all back when I'm finished cutting!". My explanation continued as to why that does me no good in the meantime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I notice (in the couple vids I've watched) you mow at the curb with your discharge into the yard. It appears to me to be intentional. HUGE KUDOS for that! And as for giving back to your community the way you do, God bless you!
Yes sir I agree I'm I gave him kudos for doing the same thing by blowing back the grass cuttings back into the lawn instead of out on the streets which is hazardous for motorcyclists and it does no good for the sewer when the mouth in the curb gets clogged up with all kinds of trash and grass clippings.
I agree completely!!! And aside from the most important safety issue, I am so sick of all my neighbors lawn services blowing it in front of my yard. What is up with that? I don't want to clean it up any more than they do, but it becomes my problem. I grew up watching all the neighborhood dads sweep up the gutters and area in front of the house with a broom and dust pan and throw it away. They would have never thought of putting all their crap in front of somebody else's house. Also, when I drive by somewhere in my car I don't really appreciate all that crap hitting my car. Why don't the lawn services train people better?
As a carpenter I appreciate seeing the transformation from scruffy run down property to looking good. I get the sense of satisfaction on a job well done 😀
You have a great partner who works with you. I was so happy seeing him picking up the paper that you mowed over. Even though this is an abandoned property, you worked it like any paying customer. The neighbor is probably saying praise Jesus for this being done. God Bless both of you.
I too am impressed how the 2 guys work together so well and even picked up the paper junk out of the yards. Bet the neighborhood is relieved that those properties are cleaned up. They were a real eyesore
@@JCrook1028 I thought that myself unfortunately. Same people who toss their trash out the car window because they just don't care about the neighborhood they live in.
Not too bad of an area for being considered the hood. I helped an uncle clean up the yards of HUD homes in Detroit back in the 70s. The grass and weeds were nearly head-high and you couldn't go 3 feet without running into some large object. If it existed it was in those yards. Great work. The county/city should be grateful for the gas line being visible now.
Was just in Detroit the other day, there's still homes like that 50 years later. Even around the Saginaw/Flint area there's occupied homes like that. Lmao
@veryslyfox If you act right you usually don't have anything to worry about. People can tell where you're from and how comfortable you are. You are probably right to stay out of certain neighborhoods.
Thank you Al and AP for being an example of how donating a little of your time and effort, can have a huge impact on your community! Much Love to you both!

Hey Jimmy from Memphis. I don't live there now but grew up in Southaven, and all over Memphis for 45 yrs. It is home.😊❤ 🕊
Forgive me i am not a city person, wtf is a rural neighbourhood? Is that what less dense parts of a city are called?
Crazy stuff.
@@yesterdayschunda1760
I always think "urban neighborhoods" and "rural areas".

This is a great idea!

@@luckyx16 naw he was just trying to help him out
@@ciello___8307 Nah, He definately was not.
(If a car would have been in the opposite lane, it would have been a head on!)
I stopped and tried to educate him.
Yes sir I agree I'm I gave him kudos for doing the same thing by blowing back the grass cuttings back into the lawn instead of out on the streets which is hazardous for motorcyclists and it does no good for the sewer when the mouth in the curb gets clogged up with all kinds of trash and grass clippings.
agree 100%
