Your video is so helpful, thanks for posting! It worked perfectly for one report I created. For some reason when I try this with a trial balance with two columns (one for debit, one for credit) - it only exports the debit column. Any tips? I'm using Excel. Thanks!!
Try adding the 'Amount' field along with Amount(Credit), Amount (debit) fields in the Custom Trial Balance report and see if you're able to see the fields in the export in Excel. Amount should have both debit and credit amounts combined, hope this helps!
Dude, i just try the exacly samething, but im my case i can't load the data in pbi cuz the pbi don't found any table, but i paste my url on browser and appers the table. I'm watching the video and i see diference beteween the url u copy and the url u paste. Do u have any tips?
When there’s a lot of data in your NetSuite report, the table preview sometimes doesn’t show up/load in Power BI. I would recommend reducing the data in the NetSuite report (ex: Quarter instead of a year) and try loading it into Power BI through the web query - see if that helps to get the data into Power BI.
Hey excellent about the connection. I have a question i have a report from NS that has date range if i download let's say from Jan 2023 to Feb 2023 once March 23 numbers are available wont update. Do we need to run a new query including the new month every time?
You can just change the date range in your NetSuite report to include to date to be March 23 or just put Dec 23 if you want data up till then - you can also put a custom date range in your NetSuite report and then refresh the data in Power BI
Try to break it into two reports using date filters to see if the error goes away when importing the web queries. You can always merge the datasets in Power BI/Excel for your analysis.
@@karimderouich Other alternatives would be: Via saved search - ruclips.net/video/pUK6npJQIds/видео.html Paid - ODBC connector (SuiteAnalytics connect) - write SuiteQL to retrieve the data you want into Power BI/Excel
Dude, youre the best!! you helped me fix something that has been giving me trobules for months :) Thanks!
You're welcome :). I'll try and share more content that will help export data from NetSuite - SuiteQL next
It's brilliant! Exactly what I am looking for. Thanks!
You're welcome!

The video i was looking for... quick question if my report has filter range dates how i can get delete those filter so BI upates with the latest info?
Use the relative date filter on the NetSuite report (ex: this year) so you can get the latest data upon refresh in Power BI
