Wow all those Blue Note and Impulse records! You guys certainly unearthed some great stuff on this dig!
Thanks, Andy. It’s always rewarding when we find pieces that make our hard work worthwhile. You probably already know it’s hard. These boxes are heavy and clumsy. Moving them around at 56 years old is no picnic. But finding clean Blue Notes in the bunch makes me feel 23 again! 😂 Thank you for sharing the excitement with us. Take care.
Steve
Now what are the odds of both of us owning the Van Morrison Hip-Pocket Record? "You're in Love, Charlie Brown" is the cooker in this lot! It's Donald Byrd day! Byrd In Flight is gorgeous.Bruce Live was the first vinyl box set I bought. The Impulse titles are incredible. It just keeps getting better.
We have a lot in common, Mark. That’s why we get along so well. You haven’t ended our friendship even though I’m not a John Lennon fan. I have remained friends with you even though you are a huge John Lennon fan. lol. Just 2 nice guys getting along by respecting one another’s differences. I do believe the song Image is a beautiful masterpiece of music. 🫶🏽✌🏽
@@TheVinylRecordMission Right on, Steve! Imagine is beautiful. Plastic Ono Band checks off all the boxes for me. Perfection.
Mouth watering. Man I would bring a lot of Benjamin’s if I was given an opportunity to go through that place
Hi Greg. Thanks for watching and sharing your enthusiasm. Yeah I have to exercise great restraint here lol. I’d go broke if I cut loose. ✌🏽
Steve
@@TheVinylRecordMission lol. I would be back every week. Lol
I am definitely interested in buying many records you flipped through today
You can message us about any records you’ve seen that interest you. The sooner the better as these records get processed back into the mix and listed and sold quickly sometimes. Let us know in the comments what you’re interested in and we’ll do our best to locate it. Thanks for your patience and understanding, Greg. This thing is getting off the ground much faster than we imagined. We’ll eventually fine tune it. ✌🏽✌🏽

I am by no means an expert on value of records. I buy what interests me
The video today I would be interested if available the celebrities I saw:
Hugh O’Brien, Wolfman Jack, Jeff Chandler, and Tony Perkins. Also Jazz
Guys: Ornette Coleman, Dave Brubeck, John Coltrane, Donald Byrd, Archie
Sharp. Additionally Queen - Made in Heaven, David Johansson, Coldplay,
Billy Williams, Dee Clark, Lucky Lucy Ann, and Mr Rays Wig World.
Did you sell those what I call Asian counterfeits on EBay. I collect those
And would be interested in them if they did not sell
Greg Hawkins
Great picks Steve. So much stuff I wouldn’t even know what to look for. If there was one record that 😅 would love to add to my collection, it would be John Campbell - Howlin' Mercy. But there’s a fat chance that you will come across it. But if you do…😉👍🏻
There’s at least 1 in 100,000 chance I’ll come across a copy 😂. Heck that better odds than the lottery. 😆😉 I’ll keep a look out for you, brother.
@@TheVinylRecordMission Lmao No, no, it’s not a big deal. It would be just a distraction.
But it would be a miracle if it fell in your hands. 🤣 Keep up a great work Steve. 🫶🏻
Nice that you are hitting some great stuff. I didn’t think you were going to find much after the first two videos.
good collection of jazz music on 45 records too, great video, steve!
Appreciate you, Dave!
Great Video - Awesome dig
Glad you enjoyed it brother, Joey! Blessings!
Fine job gentlemen thanks for sharing
Thanks for digging with us! We greatly appreciate your support. ✌🏽
😃👍
Thank you, Andy! It was a fun day! ✌🏽
Great finds!! Finally some Blue Note & Impulse. Wonder if there might be more in the other boxes. Keep on diggin!
Yes it was a good dig. Hoping for more in the future. Thanks for checking it out. 🙏🏽✌🏽
very nice 45's and cool Blue note
Thank you! There is some great music on 45. I’m not a fan of Ornette Coleman so I left behind for someone who does. It’s a beautiful copy. I’m digging the Byrd records for sure! Thank you for digging with us! ✌🏽
Those are amazing! I buy everything I see on Blue note and Impulse and a lot on Verve if the price is right. Great collection thanks for sharing!
I agree with you. I’m just not a fan of overly free jazz and avant-g. I left all that there. I took all the Byrd and Brubeck. Thanks for digging in with us. ✌🏽
Mr Rays were a great Liverpool psych outfit
love the music, kept me awake nice finds! looking to get into jazz any recommendations?
Thanks Tenn- I thought the background music was fun and engaging too. Thank you for letting me know. Someone complained about the music being off putting. Oops 😬 lol. Anyway. Here is a link to a great introductory to jazz vinyl video I made on my old channel. It’s a perfect way to address your question regarding jazz recommendations. I give ten recommendations in the video.
Thanks for supporting us and watching.

Wow some killer jazz finds there! That John & Alice Coltrane - Cosmic Music is so good. Ornette. You know. lol.
You passed over several great ones tho- Little Feat, David Johansen…hopefully you’ll be going back for those at some point. Fun stuff!
I enjoyed all of the 45's Humble Pie Hot n Nasty.. I bet 30 Days In The Hole" is on the A side. Is that Roger McGuinn at 7:08 for sale ? ( I looked and have a nice one, actually ). 😊
You pulled some cookers in the jazz dept. for your stash, and that old yellow cover Ska LP ! Super duper Reggae records, love it ! 🤘
Yes Sir. Thanks for letting us know. I knew of Little Feet but not Johansen. He almost looked like Buster Poindexter to me lol.
The Jazz is beautifully cared for except for one. Ryan does do a second more thorough pass on all the boxes I go through. We greatly appreciate you sharing your knowledge and expertise with us. ✌🏽
Steve
@@jtsrecordroom3963 The Humble Pie 45 is a promo with Hot N Nasty on both sides. Stereo going one way and mono on the way back. Kick ass tune for Marweena!
Cool ! I do have that R. McGuinn.. I'm missing " Back To Rio" the common one. That's a lot of records you guys !
nice those 2 records by Actor Jeff Chandler, would be fun to listen to
Great finds. The Rockin' background track is fab. Who is it?
I loved it too. One of the 1000s of watchers complained about my choice of background music being off putting lol 😆. Oops 😬 The first track is The Apex - by Tatami. The second track is Give Me That by DeKibo. Thanks for watching. We greatly appreciate your support! Take care
Steve
Lucy Ann Polk on mode records,!!! anything on mode is rare in my opinion.
You know your Gal vocals, David! 🙌🏽 💪🏽💪🏽 I’ve got 3 or 4 on Mode now. They are few and far between. Thanks for digging with us! ✌🏽
@@TheVinylRecordMission i have the lucy ann on the Interlude records re-issue. its better than nothing.
Pretty sure anything odd of value would remain in the box. Lot of very odd titles Steve
I left a lot behind. I took some 45s. Avant Garde and free jazz isn’t for me. I left all the Ornette Coleman, Archie Shepp and Lester Bowie behind. Ryan will sell all that. Ryan will sell records to anyone who inquires. You’re right I got some fun odd 45s for Marweena.
are you selling Dire Straits' Brothers in Arms album?
Hi Tom. Thanks for inquiring. The Brothers In Arms LP is for sale. It’s $40.00 + $5.00 for shipping. This is a 2006 sealed 180 Gram Half-Speed Master. Mastered by Stan Ricker.
Hi, great stuff. Can you tell me how much for the "HEY LOSERS" album? Thanks.
Hey bud. Thanks. Please give me a time reference in the video where you saw the album you’re inquiring about. Appreciate it.
@@TheVinylRecordMissionDig #4, 15:50 mark, Archie Shepp. Also same artist, "Mama's Too Tight".
@@birdy1numnum Hey Birdy. $45.00 + $5.00 shipping for Shepp, Losers and Mama Too Tight. Total $50.00. They are beautiful copies!
@@TheVinylRecordMissionsounds good. Please tell me how best to proceed. I do not use social media like Instagram or Facebook. Thx.
@@TheVinylRecordMissionalso, how much for the John Coltrane at the 9:17 mark?
Can you link your ebay?

The rave music is really off putting
Oops 😬 Sorry. Just trying to change things up. Do you prefer a particular style of background music?
@@TheVinylRecordMission loving the videos - maybe some ambient stuff like Eno - something that doesn't distract - it is a great channel and i am loving watching - regards from the UK
@@sunstone3805 Thank you sunstone. We appreciate your recommendation. Eno certainly is iconic. I’m sure I can find some royalty free Eno-ish knockoffs. We’ll eventually get it right. Much love to you in the UK. 🫶🏽✌🏽
@@TheVinylRecordMission i forgot about the royalty stuff-a minor gripe - addicted to the channel already !
