Thank you, Carjo! And the Powder Blues Band is in immaculate condition. Such a mix of great and not so great records in this batch. Thanks for dropping by. ✌🏽
Hey Steve. Great video, and what a way to spend a morning. That Joe Farrell "Moon Germs" is killer. Loved all those Ventures albums! Big K.R.I.T. is fantastic. I met him once on a show i was working on, and he was a great guy. And great snag on the Japanese pressing of Halloween, perfect timing! Cheers
Oh, it’s so great to hear from you Bobby . Your knowledge and positivity are inspiring and infectious. I’m big on Halloween Records. I can’t believe I found the Japanese pressing. You’re right the Joe Farrell Moon Germs record. Is outstanding! Cool that you get to meet interesting people in your line of work. Have a great day! ✌🏽 Steve
So many greats! Even the ones with cover damage. Id be looking for cheap ones on discogs to swap sleeves with for some of those! Part of the adventure!
That's a great idea! If nobody asked to buy them from the video Ryan will list them as a lot on eBay. The vinyl is great on most of them. Thanks for digging with us! ✌🏽

Steve I got great vinyl no covers! Very hard to find covers but then I got a lot of rare items I need covers for. That new collection had a ton of great stuff, wow. Too bad about the covers. Mine had been totally submerged for three days so there was no saving them
This was just a handful of ruined covers. I can’t imagine the devastation of the flood you endured. Ryan will have no problems finding homes for those slightly water damaged rarities. I was so excited to see those titles at first. But then my excitement was swept away.
It's a real shame to see all those great titles with water damage. You've got everybody talking about the Halloween soundtrack. Moon Germs is an amazing album. I love everything Herbie has done. I own that Fantastic Cadillac album. It's hard to find one in such good condition. Take care, Steve
@@mad4vinyl802 Thanks, Mark. Unfortunately the Cadillac’s vinyl was really beat up. 🤕 I was happy with very Halloween record and the Jazz titles I pulled out of there. The Gene Ammons Sonny Stitt record is one I was excited to get. I’ve seen very few great Jazz titles on Chess records. It’s a fantastic recording. I love Blue Mitchell and Stanley Turrentine so to see them together at The Half Note backing Les McCann was thrilling for me. Thanks for digging with us! ✌🏽🫶🏽
I'd grab all those new wave albums immediately regardless of bad sleeve condition. Awesome Jazz Butcher album. I have that. Lucky you! Are you gonna sell them?
Whatever I don’t take is for sale. You can inquire about any of the records you see and we’ll let you know if they’re available. Thanks for digging with us! ✌🏽
Hi Hounddoggy. I never knew that. That’s so cool to know. As soon as I read your comment I googled Phil Hartman album covers. As it turns out Phil was an amazing album cover designer with many titles under his belt. Thank you for sharing information with us! We appreciate you. 🫡✌🏽 Steve
Couple years back I had to weight the bottom of the trash can with "great Vinyl" bad covers "water damage" no one wanted them, record stores even thrift stores & library. Didn't know how bonkers Gen Z was going to be on vinyl.
If we only knew then what we know know. I’ve done the same thing many years ago. I tossed a bunch of clean records with no covers right in the garbage. Wish I could go back. Thanks for watching and sharing. ✌🏽
@@TheVinylRecordMission I got rid of 2/3 of my vinyl about 20-25 years back, sold off or traded in for CD's DVD, in which I got pennies on the dollar. The Vinyl i was speaking of above was salvaged from minor floods, my parents hung on to what was salvageable, everything looked & played well. Still hanging on to my more obscure vinyl.
That Spider album (Between the Lines) is worth a closer listen. It features the original version of Better Be Good to Me (better known as a Tina Turner) and the songwriters of that song are in that band
That’s very cool to know, Nate! Thanks for sharing! I’d love to hear the original version of that song. I’ll check it out. Appreciate you digging with us. ✌🏽

Heartbreaking. But vinyl still looks very good. Someone can probably get a good deal on some of that.
Good picking Steve 👍🏻👍🏻✊🏻🫶🏻

I'd be jealous of al of those Smiths, Cure, Echo, New Order, Bauhaus, etc. records if I didn't already have them! Too bad some covers are damaged.
Hi Brian. It’s ok to be jealous of the damaged records 🤣 I’m glad I pulled some other good title from the wreckage. 😁👍🏽👍🏽

What was good stuff to you at 01:08? Just curious 🤨
Need to pour out a drink for those Smiths records with water damage. Sadness. The Japanese Halloween Sdtk was a monster from that box 🎃
@@ConcertBuddie Yes I had know idea it was so expensive! 😳 They are all pretty pricey it seems.
Some great British stuff in that first box but what a shame about the covers. That second box was pure heat !
What a shame about those great 80s titles. I really liked that second box much better. Some smokin’ music in that one. Be cool, Andy. ✌🏽
