None of this actually works. Etsy has changed their algorithm and is probably manually curating. If you've opened a shop in the past 6 months, good luck. They favor existing shops with high sales. Etsy is too afraid to gamble on new shops with all the fraud they've had.

I’ve never had luck with traffic on Etsy but I spoke with their marketing department and she suggested I buy the $500 day marketing package 😂 it’s sad everything is about money

Great Advice but by creating so many pins for my Pinterest business account they saw my stuff as being "spammy" and have suspended my account! @@JackInTheShop You can Pin your Etsy products. You can't "claim" a business account on Pinterest anymore. Posting pins is not claiming a business account on Pinterest. You used to be able to have a whole business page on Pinterest like you have your Etsy store. They don't allow that anymore because they consider Etsy as a marketplace not your own "website store". By just posting a pins is not the same thing. They just made this change on Pinterest I believe this past year. I open my Etsy shop in October and that change was already in place and I didn't know. It also wasn't stated on Pinterest anywhere. I have to change my account I guess over to a personal account and not a business account from what the people at Pinterest explain to me. They also told me when you have your own website store that you have to have made a lot of sales before you can open up a business account on Pinterest. Because I also had my own website, ( which I'm closing now until I have more sales on Etsy, because I am new also and did this wrong after getting bad advice ). I only have had one sale so I still couldn't open a Business account. It's not stated clearly on Pinterest either. I did let them know that also. I had to write Pinterest and ask them about all this information.

@@JackInTheShop I am too worried about paying too many fees for listing Products, but did find that you only get charged every four months. Having 150 listings at $.20 is $30 every four months I don't think that's too bad. And if they're not selling, you can always deactivate them / not automatically renew them / or work on the SEO to see if that does better. This is all a risk and you have to give it some time. I says this, but I have a hard time with it myself. It's no fun working for free.

Just want to let you know Pinterest no longer allows Etsy sellers to have a business page unless you have your own website.

Has Pinterest and Etsy gotten back to working together? Last I checked, Pinterest and Etsy integration was no longer possible.

Hi Dylan. I think it is also important to point in which markets you are selling. I am based in Spain and all my Etsy customers are from Europe (Switzerland, Germany, Holland...) that means different languages, different ways of searching for products etc. Would you say your strategies are for every markets?
