In this tutorial I show you how to make a vocal hook for a electronic music production even if you can't sing. With one of my favourite tools called Melodyne made by the company Celemony you can simply speak the vocals in without any pitch and then turn them into a pitched vocal afterwards with Melodyne.
This works quite well even if you are a singer also, you can take your vocal recordings and turn them into the super pop style of vocal like you hear from artists such as Post Malone, Drake and Daft Punk. In my Melodyne Bootcamp I show you how you can get all of these effects and more.

you should probably change the title to reach more people, since this isn’t Ableton exclusive, it’s the VST and not Ableton that does all the work !
The first one was 95% fine, that third actually was interesting... but the second one, oh my sweet Lord I was laughing my head off.
Can you do a tutorial how you mixed the vocals? Especially which reverb and delay you used, would be great!!

Do you consolidate or bounce the clip after tuning with melodyne, or just leave it as is?
if i've got melodyne running on an audio track, and then i want to adjust the timing of a clip slightly, can i drag the audio clip (in ableton arrangement), and melodyne will follow suit? or once i have melodyne running on a track, do micro timing adjustments need to be made within the plugin window timeline itself?

How do I get this on ableton live lite, I downloaded the free trial but it was zipped so I bought WinZip to unzip it then I clicked set up and nothing would happen......

Unfortunately no, you’d have to highlight and watch a tuner and stuff and then adjust by semitones, this makes it soooo much easier

how do i export the audio from the plugin to the ableton
I usually just solo the track, engage any effects such as reverb/delay/compression ect and then export just that track. I then pop it on a new audio track and call it "tuned vocal".

yeah it's an expensive plugin, there are cheaper versions of the plugin like Melodyne essential for $99 USD and Assistant for $250 usd, both can get the job done. There are also some free options for vocal tuning such as Grallion 2 and inbuilt tuning in programs like GarageBand.
MELODYNE interface really sucks ! I purchased the full license for the Editor version and need to ask for a refund simply because I cannot read the super tiny fonts. Total crap !
