This was very fast some Moments
Cause you named the chains dry and wet gut didnt explained IT
You built effect racks with command E??? Im Just new to this
Did you used the Main settings of some of the Plugins effects , because you didnt changed all the settings of each Plugin or effect in the Video
Im doing German Rap music i got a good Setup cause im Kamin music for 20 years
But i was Just writing Songs
Now that i realised thecpeople around me got too much Problems over The last years i recorded all my stuff by myself
Many people Like IT , and i pressed also ja First CD in 2010 with my own Money Working with an Independent Label
But these people also did too many weird Things
I Set Up my Home recording to good Standard
But since the people around me never Work serious on production , i want to try it myself
They Just producing a Lot of Beats Not realy mastered or intensives Mixed
In fact its stupid that They didnt Produced me or i myself learned to produce myself
But i had to Work for Money writing Songs because They had the Beats
I can also produce beats with the akai 2000xl and Other DAWs , but Not AS good AS them on DAWs
Anyways im looking to master my 100 Songs i recorded the last year
I start recording again the best hundred Songs i have Here
Its all German Rap
Its No Shit , but also some Shit
Hahahaha
I have some difficult Crossover Things , because all my Rap Songs is different Styles
Im Not using a Main Image i created an own Style i was using in my First Album
Now another Rap flow came Up i figured Out while listening
Im also looking vor Simeone who can master this big amount of Rap Songs
The Songs is between 2:30 to 5 minutes
The Most of them 3:30 to 4:15 minutes Long
Everything ist arranged
The vocals are cut under another in ableton live 9 Suite
So If Sound already cool
But there are Volume differences when i make IT an audio File playing IT Back in the Same Hifi or Monitors
The voice is changing loudness AS Well AS the Instrumentals
But playing the ableton Project IT IS all clear and fine
I saw many of your Videos and how im very Interested to find Simeone who will create a new Style of vocals fitting into music
I saw what you can do .
I recorded over good high Standard Beats
I also want to find a unique instrumental Style , Beat Style for my music
Something Nobody Heard Till Like this Till now
IT doesnt mean that im Not Happy with my results
But i Just die IT this way to totally Show the Potential of ja music
Whats the cost of you to master and Work on Projects ???
I Like to be around the Creation process to have a basement of understanding what i want to create
I know you understand that IT means to listen various Options to Figuren IT Out
I dont do this for Money or anything Else
I do it because i cant quit IT
Not now
Thanks for an request
Your Videos is very helpful
I will rely in this videos
I strangley want to go to Whole Foods after this I really cant explain why
Youv got a good voice
What are your thoughts on Akg c3000??
Me: super proud of my focusrite
Puppet boi: "CHeaP GeAR"
Lmao facts
@Recommendations In Description I purchased this C214 brand new for $250 off reverb
@@ReidStefanMusic thats hella expensive
audio interfaces all sound the same, that`s the truth :)
It does kinda hurt 😂😂😂😂
the phase inversion on the reverb and echo was some secret sauce
could someone explain it to me why it worked so well? :O I mean, what is the physics behind that trick :O
fr
@@okolo250slow5 it makes the input signal to the effect the equal opposite of the original sound (referred to as out of phase, and normally a bad thing). If you don't do this then the reverb or delay might gel too much with the dry vocal because then it would be in-phase
@@c0deoustech still not sure if I fully comprehend why does it work, but the effect is quite amazing. Thank you for the explanation!
@@okolo250slow5 that's ok! It's pretty technical, but there are plenty of great RUclips videos on phase
I hope this video reinforces the fact that you don’t need expensive gear to sound great! Thanks for watching everybody ✨
My goodness is someone talented: splice.com/sounds/splice/karra-vocal-pack-2
Thank you! Forgot how important simple volume adjustments can be
Rossco Giordano I got a ton of packs on Splice!!
Sol State it’s always the simplest of techniques that we overlook!
KARRA really liked this video. I shared it with my son.
the puppet head bangings gets me everytime
I legit started laughing
Mee too. So funny.
This is legit my 5th time watching this video specifically for this part
lmfaoooo this whole loops commercial in the middle "are you one of the millions of music producers who dont know how to play any real musical instruments" - im deeeadddddd lololol
Hahaha That was fun, I know how to play many instruments, but whole loops always has interesting sound design and nice color on the packs, that's why I like to buy it tho.
@@jordyalejandroubaldomorale2982 bollocks
When she said "did you quit guitar lessons in middle school because it made your fingers hurt". I felt that deep in my soul.
Copico 24 DUDE SAME LMAO
I love how he never forgets to headbang when the 808 drops...don’t skimp on the head bobbing Reid especially when Karra is singing!!! 🤟🏼✨💜🥶💔
realest puppet in the gameeee!! u know wazzuupp!!!
2:00 warp off 4:40 eq 5:30 rvox 6:00 OTT 6:30 glue compressor

A big THANK YOU!

your cheap gear is what my whole life is worth with everything I own combined together
wait , you are from USA?
@N omg are u ok why are u so worried lmfao
IN US it's not that Expensive ,But on some countries It's really Expensive ,For example The Audio technica at 2020 is a cheap mic on us But Here it's Like A 10,000 dollar Mic
Pen' em
Yes i wish i was born there lol ,
I was born in some 3rd world $hithole
My buddy in Argentina can’t even get his hands on a used Android phone there. A frequent reminder how blessed we are here in the U.S.
All drum samples in this video are from our Urban Beets 4 Pack. Guitars are from our Guitars Bundle! 🔥
im good thanks
THANKS BRO
No thanks
1:17 everybody gangsta til the puppet stands up 😳
he's tall af
We're only alive because he allows it
REMINDER TO ANYONE READING , ITS NOT ABOUT THE GEAR YOU USE. ITS ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE OF THE ARTIST WHEN RECORDING. HOW GOOD YOU CAN GET THE TAKE BEFORE ANY PROCESSING STARTS. IF YOU NOTICE HER VOICE WAS VERY CLEAN EVEN RAW . SO KEEP THAT IN MIND FOR ANYONE RECORDING NEW MUSIC 🙏
Reid, always killing it. Thanks for all the advice throughout the years. Went from not knowing anything (Not even how to add a sample) to hyping myself up every time I get cooking. Thank you!
i literally didnt know you could highlight a part of the track and then turn the volume for it down omggggg until just now
Same, lol
I'm going to have to try that sans-Warp option as well.
Once you highlight the section, be sure to hit command (or ctrl) e to split the clip. Thanks for the awesome video Reid and Karra!
@@PhillyWatts OOOH! thank you for the tip! I didnt know that either!
Philly Watts thank you my dude
Do you how can I do the exact same thing in fl studio??
I never thought about inverting the phase from the reverb! Great tips, thank you guys! 🙏🏻
Why though? Thx.
Dude, your vocal vids are SO helpful. And you work completely differently in each one. New secrets in every video.
This is literally the best tutorial I've seen so far in my existence. You are a legend
This video will inspire all to make music. You can just make these elegant vocals with just some cheap gear. This is different from all the videos I have watched to do this and none of them executed it well, but you did it so well I was just amazed. I like this video because there are musicians out there who are overwhelmed by the price of gear to make their creative music, but in this video, you have made a cure for this overwhelmed state of mind when purchasing gear.
Man! That was awesome. Thank you for the tutorial! It made things so much easier
Bro, you just helped me mix my next song! Thank you for educating us through your videos!
A year ago i start LEARN how Produce with your Channel and Warren's
Wow, now im gratefull with you guys. CHEAP and i SOUND good i think
My mans has his own adds within the video.... truly genius.. wishing you much success. Very organic and entertaining content. Love it!
That parallel glue was on point. and the phase cancellation trick was pro level. Definetly a video to come back to
Thanks a mil for this video. I was using a auto processor for my vocals but doing what did in this video actually gave 100x better sound 😭 I really can't thank you enough
Thanks a ton for this, the phase inversion is mind-blowing..
Love your content! Those vocals touched my heart!
the scarlett 2i2 is the beginner's holy grail of interfaces
I never thought about getting a better microphone, apparently that helps a lot too, I still use the one that came with my Scarlet Focus.
Wow... that was dope!! Great content as usual and a catchy tune to go along with it!
Just wanted to drop by an say I appreciate you and the thousands of others who help the thousands of us out! 🙏🏻🙌🏻💯
Thank you for telling us some default settings for female vocals that you use! Great tutorial.
That lowering the EQ trick at 3k is a lifesaver!!!!
Awesome video! Thanks for dropping 💎. Helps a lot for beginners like me.
The head bop kills me every time
Ayyy! Literally ordered a Scarlet Solo Gen 3 for my Birthday! It was good! Fiddly to setup but once going it’s been great
the best video ive seen in so long. Such a fantastic job
THANK YOU... Needed this so bad! 🙏🙏🙏 bless your human and puppet hearts..
wow learned like 10 things in ableton i can already use when editing pod casts !! lol you are a GOAT puppet man
Oo Reid I’m glad you’re returning to your guitar riff! I’ve watched that video like 20 times for reference sake and it’s a groove~ 😜
Even though this video is a few years old I just began to start adding my own vocals to my tracks and this video helped me so much. Thank you for this one and all your other ones
Great to hear! I have more vocal mixing tutorials coming up soon
Ahh Focusrite, such a good company. I am glad I got on of the small ones for what I currently do. I saw a shootout of some in some videos I saw and the Focusrite solo. I do know there is different scarlett solo's, but I think for the sound that I would get another Focusrite if I ever wanted to.
Nice Waves plugin usage, you a real one Reid✊🏾
Man thanks for that. That was hell of a helpfull tips on vocals!
Killed it Reid! Living proof of not needing all the extra expensive Gear! No excuses!
She has an amazing voice which makes a world of difference.
My first interface was an M-Audio fast track ultra about 9 years ago.
Still my main interface :D
Can't explain how useful this video was. Thank you, Realest Puppet In the Game & Karra. :D
Best Vocal Mixing Tutorials out there 🔥 Awesome Song!
Love your Chanel, brother!
Would love a video on how best to utilise UAD’s console to treat vocals pre DAW.
Love all your videos I wish you would make a version of this video for protools I just got the Focusrite Scarlett...
thanks so much bro love what you do ,much love and support from Trinidad
you're inspired me to make music with cheap gear.
thanks Reid
Nice Voice~~~ Keep making music. I am new to all these but am so Glad to have found you guys 😉
The spaciousness of the crib though! Nice work Reid!
been a long time fan, best sound engineering tips on youtube! thanks for always comin with the sauce reid. 973 represent :)
You are awesome man! Love what you do
OTT is boosting below 80hz that you intended to cut out - id set the low crossover just above the highest note's fundamental for the presence and stability youre probably looking for
parallel glue compression has no makeup at +15db of reduction so its barely doing anything but boosting the noise floor
inverting the polarity of reverb is superfluous because reverb is already de-correlating the phases of all frequencies - id use pre-delay in addition to sidechain compression against the dry vocal to create separation
reverb is still on eco mode which sounds much worse compared to high quality mode
sounds good but i think these would give it that extra 10%, also karra is killer
Wow Au5

"And with it" *Breaks neck*
so happy i found this channel 💖
Using only the interface and plugins! Stoked. (:
Hi Reid. Thanks for your channel. Appreciate your commitment to educating musicians. I purchased the Ableton Lead and Bkgd Sauce packs. Firstly, the chains are really nice. I've gone back in and customized new versions using my Arturia Delays and FF / Arturia reverbs, and re-mapped. Really versatile and cool. I was mixing a bit this morning and noticed something kind of strange. I have 2 background lines panned hard left and right in the mix. Levels are nearly identical. The issue I've discovered seems to be related to the Mid-Side EQ on the BKGD Sauce. It seems to make the right channel more prominent than the left. Again, might be an "taste" thing, but wanted to get your thoughts on that.
The power of the stock plug ins 🔥
I FUCKING LOVE YOU REID STEFAN
the intro, the actual content, the commercial 😂
You’re the best producer youtuber hand down
Thank you for your videos. I really love them
I learn more with you than school thanks!
I make music and I really got impressed by the quality of the AKG and The audio interface ❤️❤️
Diamond vocals recorded with cheap gear. Is always better than bad tone vocals & great gear :-))) Kara & Reid we love you ❤️
good producing and mixing! keep up the great work!
Wowww that made a difference. Thanks 🥺
Yo this track knocks! Thanks for the tutorial!
this guy can make fire track in 30 mins trust me.... you rock Reid!!
Karra's workflow is impressive! "Let's mix it!" I wish I had that confidence when editing haha
I love your channel so much Reid. It’s been really helpful
You guys are amazing thanks for sharing all the info ! I would like to suggest to Karra to make a singing tutorial for beginners, like how to find your own voice tune or key . Cheers !!
Best couple of a Puppet and a human since Pinocchio. 💕
Such a cool tune...and tutorial!
On the one hand, I feel personally attacked for having this exact (cheap lol) gear. On the other, I'm super appreciative of the sauce drippin off this tutorial. Much love Karra & Reid!
I just want to say, thanks for this video. When you find something not right with the vocals and this helps. Now i sound little better than before 😆😀
Love it man. Thanks
Exactly what I was looking for ****Subscribed***
I was late. I want that focus rite 😣 thank you for the tutorial ❤️
Oh... really valuable tutorial...! Thx a lot!
YO when that BASS HIT gosh dang ! amazing tutorial appreciate you guys =D. u got a sub!
In my country those equipment very expensive, but this is a great contain. Thank you for uploading it.
I just bought this mic its good to see its possible to get that expensive quality
Hi. Great mini tutorial! Can I ask why you added a separate effects rack for delay after the reverb rack, instead of just adding the delay in the same rack? Many thanks!
amazing raw vocal
Hey Reid, I just wanted to say that if you turn ON both L & R phase on Utility will not sound "out of phase" because you're actually inverting both and the result is the same as if its not... great channel!!
Thank youuu dude you made my life happier
It was the whole food ads for me cuh. You gotta new sub
08:45!!!!! Best minute of my life
Great video and very helpful tips! Thanks guys
Michele Brugiolo our pleasure!!
Great video and tips great eq moves too

Great video,really helpfull
very cool love it
Good Job Reid 💯⭐
Y'all are tryna keep me inside forever I see. 🔥
Learned A lot Of From This .. I Really Underestimated My Equipment.
@reidstefan love your videos man, thx for spreading the knowledge! Can you plz explain if there is a difference between the phase inversion trick you showed in this video for the wet efx vs. compressing the delay/reverb back to the vocal signal? Do they both accomplish the same goal or different outcome/sound? Thank you in advance! 👊🏾
