Today years old when I learned plug-in order plays a HUGE part in mixing lmao no wonder sometimes my vocals sound weird when I put certain things first before the other or me doing opposite of what’s right on delay like I’ve been blind to all the in depth details for almost a year now ohh it’s on & poppin now ‼️ tysm
You literally just helped finish my album, thank you so so much for this video. Vocals are one of the hardest things to mix when it comes to production, and the way you described each process and added tips like with the delay and reverb were so beyond helpful! Cheers to Bandlab too for giving one of the greatest gifts to artists starting out, Software is expensive and it made making music far less accessible till recently thanks to them.(:

Man, I didn't realize how to use alot of those effects they offer to spruce up the vocals, I may have to look up some of those terms like 'wet level', 'dry', 'pan out' or whatever. I wanna mess around with the autopitch effect a little now.... The song their making for the tutorial is actually pretty nice, had me grooving a little.

Super helpful video. I enjoyed it the whole way through! Excellent editing as well! Quick questions: what would be the main difference between using this vs. Garageband? I think this it's way less confusing, but is there a sound quality difference or any damage to the files since it's online?

I wish someone would make a in depth video of what everything means and what it does, like what does attack and release really do for your voice
Attack typically means the length of the sound band releasing is controlling speed how the sound goes
It just means the vocals will sound more clean and not mixed with uneeded noise and faster.
