Dude is a legend. May he rest in peace. I met him 2019 at a comic con. He was so humble and was more than happy to sign a picture for my dad for free when I told him my dad couldn’t make it to the con but was a massive Batman fan and the reason I got into comics.

This was my first ever skill based platinum I was so chuffed when I finally earned it as it easily one of my all time favourite superhero games. Arkham City's platinum is torture, long and brutal. But I have faith that you can do it.

Hell yeah bro, the Arkham games are my favorites of all time, so excited to see you play them. Arkham Asylum is definitely a little awkward mechanics-wise, but the atmosphere and storytelling in this game are probably the best of the whole series. They only improve from a gameplay perspective as well, such a dope franchise. And I can tell you from a lot of experience lol, the challenge mode only gets harder and more intense as the games progress, it can be a NIGHTMARE in some of these games. Great video brotha.

The one thing with me was doing all of Batman's moves in a single fight, just so much to keep track and I never play like that

You just have to write down all of the moves you have to do and when you are fighting, pause the game when you perform one and choose another to perform, keep doing it until you reach all of them. That's way easier than doing every move in real time
It's not that bad in asylum though. Throw, takedown, batarang and batclaw.

Congratulations on the platinum trophy! I was going for it a few months ago when I was replaying the game but hate the challenges especially combat. I might give it another go when there is a dry month for new video games.
you should go for it 100% the combat challenges are the only hard part especially rumble in the jungle and shock and awe but if there is any advice i can give you its dont get hit at all bc you get a flawless bonus of 5000 points if you take no damage, try to use as much moves as possible as this gives you a huge bonus and lastly try to go for as many ground pounds as possible they give you so many points and especially if you get the last guy with one, i like to use combat throw to throw them away from everyone then you can ground pound them safely

I replayed all of the Batman games earlier this year and it was a blast. Definitely some of my favorite games of all time.
A quick heads up, in case you didn't know, but Arkham Origins is not obtainable anymore as of August-September due to servers crapping out, so if you don't already have the online trophies, platinum for that game is sadly unobtainable.

Also look up a serious house on serious earth if you haven’t already. It’s the comic that inspired this game and reading it adds such a new level to this game.

I got the platinum trophies for the Arkham Trilogy earlier this year, base games + all DLC’s. It was definitely a challenge, but a fun & rewarding one at that. I would personally say that Arkham City is the most difficult to platinum mainly due to the challenge maps and campaigns but I’m confident you’ll smash it 💪🏻

@@shamani8393 Hey, I’m sorry for replying late I’ve only just seen your comment. Are you referring to Asylum, City or Knight?
If it’s Asylum then the combat isn’t majorly difficult, it’s mainly about maintaining your combo and countering / vaulting over enemies, also use your special moves when they’re available. Try and keep track of the enemies and predict when they’re going to attack you, it does requires you to be focused and engaged in the combat, but once you get a flow going you’ll be raking in the points! Also, try and complete each round without resetting your combo nor losing health as you’ll be granted extra points at the end of each round!
The stealth challenges aren’t as difficult as they’re in City, they just require you to be patient and plan your takedowns accordingly. If you’re struggling then I would recommend following a guide and replicating it. Some of the stealth challenge star requirements are quite difficult so that’s when you may want to look at a guide! It does ultimately come down to being patient and thinking before acting!

Hehe wait until you see the challenges for Arkham city. Done all 4 games (don’t think you can do origins anymore). Had a blast. Asylum took me about 16 hours, what a great game. Keep pumping out the content!

I got this plat at the start of the year shortly before getting Ragnarok’s - needless to say I’d take some of those Beserker fights over the Electrified Combat Challenge and it’s Extreme version. That was the closest I got to giving up on it but it’s one of my proudest ones due to some of those difficult rooms. Congrats and looking forward to the next few plats- my next two are looking like Spidey 2 (my 10th, with the 2018 game being my first so there’s a nice little milestone) and then Mirage.
I’ll give you a tip for the combat maps. Jump over an enemy, hit them once, then jump over them again, hit them again, and repeat the process to build up your combo. Also, do the special takedowns when your combo flashes yellow
The fighting challenges I ended up loving because it made me think about the game differently and helped me get used to expanding my combat when City and Knight more or less doubled then tripled the move pool
Oh boy! The combat challanges were a challenge good job man the suffering, but they still made us feel like batman 😅❤

Remember that this particular Batman outing is known to occasionally drop your inputs mid-combat, thus killing your combo

Arkham Asylum, was/is truly a 10/10 game. My friends and I now still reference it.
i almost quit going for the arkham asylum plat as well because the combat challenges were that hard, took me 3 days to complete them. luckily though i became really good at the combat after beating them and had a much easier time with the combat challenges for arkham city and arkham knight.

Just recently earned all achievements on Steam, man what a ride
So gratifying to get it all, and to hear Riddler lose his mind lol
Asylum was my 1st ever Platinum. I remember I wasn't even going for the platinum, i just realized that when i was almost finished playing it again through hard, i only had the time consuming challenges and just a handful of Riddlers to find that i was like oh my God, that platinum is totally achievable.
City took me several months to platinum because of 1 of the Advanced AR challenges.
Origins i only played multiplayer online once or twice so i only got all the story based trophies.
Knight was straightforward. Platinum took 2.5 weeks and as the DLC came out i got them, getting stars in each Batmobile being the only rage worthy parts.
I still view those 3 100% Platinum main and 100% DLCs and 86% on Origins as my personal best gaming achievements, Knight in particular because there's 110 trophies in that.
The scarecrow part of this game was so amazing 😭got so many people with that death screen “middle stick” and the glitch I’m actually doing a trophy run too
Asylum and City are some of my favorite games of all time. Beaten them countless times.
Though I've always wanted a Batman game that mainly focuses on the detective and crime solving aspect
I love these games, so seeing you plat them will be AMAZING!!
Just for a point of reference, Asylum and Knight are the easiest (Knight has easier gameplay but more of a grind)
City and Origins are the Hardest (City has painful Campaign challenges and I believe the Origins multiplayer trophies are damn near unobtainable)

Got this one a few months ago but one of the combat challenges made me question my decision. Ultimately it took me around three hours in total of just replaying the same challenge over and over again but it really made me improve my skills so when I finally went back to complete the game on hard I only died twice during the whole playthrough
yeah I thought I was gonna give up on the combat challenges, then I realised I had only been trying for 2-3 hours, and thought "grow up man" and just got more practice lol
It really was a struggle but I just couldn’t give up after having already committed to it and completed most of the other trophies before it. The worst part was that I struggled with the sewer one which really shouldn’t have been so difficult since I barely had any trouble with the shock and awe which apparently was supposed to be the hardest one.
I started Asylum last week with the intention to platinum too :)

Taking the night off and coming back is a great tactic.
I had played for hours to complete Elden Ring and it was like 1 in the morning I had reached Malenia (toughest boss in the game) and the end boss. I stayed up for another hour trying to finish and could not.
Next day I tried again in the evening and beat Malenia on the 2nd try and the final boss on the 1st try.
Currently going for this platinum since all the Arkham games were incredible, excited for the others if I can do this

If you like stealth, I highly recommend the Dishonored games, they're so much fun and the platinums make them even better.
I literally only have to get the remaining combat challenges to 3 stars and then I get this platinum. Unfortunately, I gave up on it a year ago and haven't gone back. Probably need to do that some time soon.

Arkham series is well over 10 years old and still the best Batman games to date. Love them still, great examples of what a super hero game should be.

This plat made me rage at the combat challenges. The rest of the stuff was easy. The predator ones were super easy and fun for me. I will say, I genuinely don't like this game too much compared to city, knight, and origins, mainly because of the gameplay. I grew up with city as my first batman game, and playing this for the first time I realize how much stuff is missing that is later added in city which is what made me dislike the gameplay. The story was awesome though, and I love the setting.
Will you be going for 100% on the other games or just the plat? I know other youtubers like Nick AR did the 100% for Arkham Knight, I hope you do too! GL.
