    In this video I'll show you how to add decals to a mesh without using the shrinkwrap modifier. Instead we will use the texture painting tab in Blender to add the decals directly to the image texture. *This won't work if you're working with procedural materials.

      This is a great workaround, but Blender needs a _legit_ decal system like what Unity and Unreal has.
