- 2 nights 3 days Algonquin canoe trip in the spring, starting from Cash Lake to Head Lake to Harness Lake, and finally to Pardee Lake. We will be taking our dog Yeti on his first canoe trip to prepare him for the big one in August. A lot of great scenery, very clear water, and fantastic portages. I recommend this trip for all canoers.
Love the view of the falls
Excellent!! ❤
It was great to visit Algonquin with you guys! I suppose that you will be doing the Highland Trail soon, which I did with my dad in the 90's. It was difficult enough that we only did the small loop, but it was still wonderful. Yeti's are so good, even if they are a bit heavy. Four trips in one year! Perhaps if I lived in North Bay I would do that too, but it's a 6 hour trip from Windsor (if Toronto cooperates). Thanks again.
Thanks for the comment, we our heading to our Highlands hiking trip in a few weeks (36km), then planning to stay a few night in the park and then doing another canoe trip for 3 days to lake Louisa. Also, we travel from Timmins ON, we have family in North Bay, still makes it easier. Cheers
Great video! Thanks for the shoutout 🥰
Yeti is a natural. If only Emma took to the canoe so well when she first started. Somehow she misunderstood it as a diving board 😂
Nice video 👌
Thank you for the comment. My wife and I enjoyed watching all of your videos with Emma, and they were very helpful. We just finished a big hike around Highlands and are now leaving for one more canoe trip to Lake Louisa. I am glad Yeti didn't see Emmy jump out of the boat, he might have caught on to the diving board thing. Lol. 😂 Thanks again
Timmy’s to start the day…of course!!!!
Always, I will even go out of my way to get me Timmy's before a our canoe trip. It's like a tradition. Lol
Oh man, bugs season in full swing.
I'm glad you were able to make the trip before the fire ban; life's miserable without fire.
That campsite looks really nice.
Shawn, a question: why did you have to drive all the way to Opeongo to pick up the paddles?
Thanks for sharing, and looking forward for the many more planned this Summer.
We did get lucky, it was nice to have a fire, however, just went on another trip in Algonquin 2 weekends ago to Bonnechere Lake and not having a fire sucked. Regarding your question about driving to Opeongo for my paddles, I must have accidentally reserved at the wrong Outfitters by mistake, won't do that again. Thank you for your comment and watching.
