$800 worth of Sapphire Gemstone's were found after prospecting on the weekend.

good news for you mate is I’m just getting into gems myself as I’m mostly a gold guy. I’m planning on doing a lot more gem videos in the future right through to showcasing the stones faceted as a final product

The large sapphire I found in this video is already dopped up and ready to start the faceting process tonight. This stone will take me a day or 2 to complete but should look nice once finished.

Hey mate, love the vids. Looking at getting into fossicking for some gems but not sure where to start, how many sieves do you usually use and what size? also what's the technique, just shake it around and try and focus it all in the centre? Cheers.
