The Carter Wise Choice 24 is an updated version of the Wise Choice release, which has been popular for many years. It's a handheld, thumb-button release, with an automatic hook closure that's activated simply by pressing the trigger set. It's got an enclosed index finger and comes with a wrist lanyard.

Just had one delivered today ... Have had the wise choice for a few years and love it , still runs like melted butter , setting up the WC 24, took me a little bit to get used to that offset in the thumb barrel due to it having 2 piece main bar now, if that's what it's called lol, took a little to get it set up the same as my original , as far as the the barrlel , but I like it, even though there still is a little bit of difference in the exact position of the thumb knob, but she feels nice and crisp on my practice loop , definitely a purchase I won't regret, and as always Carter putting out great product !!!
Ok I just purchased one it is the best release every I got it in the same color

You didn’t even go over the main upgrade, which is that the thumb knob has an extension on it, allowing a little more adjustment than the previous models.
Have the put a stiffer spring in this one?
The previous model was far too hot for me even when it was wound all the way down
Loved it otherwise
Seems like they only upgraded the name.
