There's a lot of suppliers of bodies and necks that are licenced. Like musikraft/warmoth/allparts. All of which also do OEM work. These Nashes are -from what I know- basically glorified partscasters (which says nothing about their quality imho).
Nash also has done relic Les Pauls. I don't think this is something that they are still doing as a company, but I have seen a couple in person and they were really nice. Not a big fan of relics ,but this guitar sounds great. Back plates don't wear that much. They will crack at the corners though. I diagonally cut off the corner of a broke one once. Maybe that is supposed to be like a broke one that someone rounded off.
The relicing is believable only in the sense that's an old major "Rockstar's" Guitar, or street performer's guitar. Yes the buckle rash can cause the back plate to break and wear the plastic down like that (knew a guy who broke his guitars' back plate from wearing one of those ridiculous buckles that caused that and had a similar wear pattern start developing )but Again you're talking about some major use of the guitar.like the Plastic broke in 1983 and it's 2001 level's of use for that level of wear.

Scotch Bright quilted sweater for relicing available soon . the prototypes are scratchy too wear but get the job done, also an excellent exfoliant :D i might just do sleeves for the production ones \M/
I have some guitars that have been with me for years. I've been picking at the same les paul special since '97. It's got scratches, dings and checking, but to make it look like this fake guitar i'd have to play it for 100 years and maybe leave it out in the rain for a few months for good measure. I have an ibanez RG that I bought in the 80s. I was drunk as fuck during those years and did things like break 3 whammy bars out of it, sent it right through a wall head first and even smashed a drum set with it - and it still looks like new next to this fake guitar. The plastic damage is completely over the top. I would actually laugh out loud if someone handed me that guitar.
It is a scam to me. It will be for sure a very fine guitar, but it is clearly a fake relic job. Anche the (ab)use of the Fender® logo is a clear point of "discussion"
You don't play the case, G&G are Great cases Made In AMERICA. Compare any Nash Guitar to a Fender Stratocaster triple the price, you will choose the Nash Guaranteed!
I'll never understand the whole relicing thing. I'm convinced it's a way music stores can continue to sell something as new, even though it's been on the floor for years. Who to say what's real wear and tear and what's fake, right?
I am completely baffled as to why anyone would want a fake old looking guitar. You wouldn't scar up your girlfriend's face to make her look old and road worn. So WHY would you do that to a guitar?
Same reason people get tattoos. Cause it's cool, bro! I think of it like a car. Would you go into a car dealer and say, I like it, but can you relic it? Maybe key the doors and chip the windscreen - that would be awesome, bro! Relic guitars are for the moomoos.
It's so shocking is how long Nash guitars has been in business and is clearly the worst Relic guitars on the market.... I have personally been able to check out about six or seven Nash's and thought only one look halfway decent but the overall consensus is that they play well and he uses lollar pickups which usually sound pretty damn good but as far as Relic goes there not authentic at all and Bill Nash claims to be a guitar restoration guy so to me that's even more puzzling This guitar is so half-ass it's truly disgusting but he charges 2 grand for this shitt ! I know Fender relics are a lot more expensive than everybody else but they truly do one of the best jobs out there and a few other guys

I've played a few nash guitars
every one of them had sharp fret ends
was not impressed
You can take the pick guard off without taking the neck off
Usually, yes. This one was pinched under the fretboard
The Trogly's Guitar Show oh ok, it’s a great looking guitar though, love the Hendrix and Zappa stickers
ZAPPA TAKIN A CRAPPA!
Ha ha I knew it..
Had to break to retune.
Freakin Finally!!!!!!
those frets look super super jumbo for some reason. IDK could be my mask ???
The neck is poly. Its why it didnt glow. Body nitro, neck poly..
i dislike any relic ever made.
It is a scam to me. It will be for sure a very fine guitar, but it is clearly a fake relic job. Anche the (ab)use of the Fender® logo is a clear point of "discussion"
it looks pretty good .. but trat rear with cut out cover is just stupid .. :D the rest of guitar .. i mean relic looks pretty believable ...
Real or fake wear? Is there a difference? Think about it. Does one have value and the other doesn't?
That neck shim was shockingly shit......a bit of a pick over to one side.....Jesus!
That's a really bad relic job IMO
Reliced guitars are so freakin' lame.
@@Les537 Reliced guitars are about as cool as genuine imitation leather.
It's so shocking is how long Nash guitars has been in business and is clearly the worst Relic guitars on the market.... I have personally been able to check out about six or seven Nash's and thought only one look halfway decent but the overall consensus is that they play well and he uses lollar pickups which usually sound pretty damn good but as far as Relic goes there not authentic at all and Bill Nash claims to be a guitar restoration guy so to me that's even more puzzling
This guitar is so half-ass it's truly disgusting but he charges 2 grand for this shitt ! I know Fender relics are a lot more expensive than everybody else but they truly do one of the best jobs out there and a few other guys
"I NO LIKE RELIC STRAT AND I COME HERE TO SAY SO!!" literally every comment. Has anyone ever considered letting other people enjoy something and keeping your disdain to yourself? No? You're a self-center jerk? Yes? Okay then.
