Your hands were open and what was done in each stitch was clear. Other videos go super fast and don't sop to show you exactly with post to DC. I just finish watching a vid where a lady says do 4 DC. And proceeds to do 3. Like woman I just watched your hands do otherwise!!! Lol
I swear some videos mess with your heads on purpose. Sure enough I fallow what I saw and it's correct.

This is beautiful and looks so easy. I've gone though 20 or more videos trying to learn this stitch. They were all so hard and complicated. Do you have a pattern for a scarf using this demonstration? How many foundation chains would I need for a scarf. Again 😊 tyvm

When you are moving to row 4 and the line of half double crochet, on the back of the work it’s almost as if pockets have formed. (The back of the beginning of the cables) do I close both sides of the pockets, as in put my crochet hook through both sides of the cables for the half double crochet? Or just do the half double crochet on the back row (the front of the work)
This is my main problem w the cable stitch and I am looking for the answer as well

I personally don’t like cables for blankets because they don’t look nice on the back side but I’d encourage you to work up a swatch and see what you think! :)

All you need to do is rewind the video and do rows 4-7 again ;)
