    thank you for the great tutorial, I could easily follow along. to anyone who's struggling I would suggest making yourself familiar with the classic cables first, before trying this one.

    How many chains are you starting with?

    • @mjsoffthehook
      @mjsoffthehook  4 года назад +2

      14 + 1 (start with single crochet row) = 15 chains, Row 2 ch 2 and work a row of dc or hdc. Row 3 start cable.

    I'm an experienced crocheter, I've done fp/bp stitches. I found this very difficult to follow. I don't expect hand-holding for an advanced pattern but you could have at least mentioned how many chains to start with and the row of hdc or dc before you begin the cable. I tried this 6 times before giving up and looking for clearer instructions.

      Sorry, I added this to description
      Setup for Cable
      Row 1:Ch 15, work 1 sc in 2nd chain from hook and in each ch across, turn-14 sts
      Row 2: Ch 2, work 1 dc in each st across, turn-14 sts

    sorry. I dont understand why you use the same color yarn as your background, along with that you use a light colored hook. It bleeds together , and even an advanced intermediate I cant see well enough to stay with you until the end. Your voice is raspy and hard to hear when I totally quit at about half way.
