I love this bike. It's especially good for carrying a pillion passenger; you hardly know they are there and their feet rest on a platform which keeps them from poking into the backs of your legs when you have to put your feet on the ground. Great design and great fun to ride.
I have the 2020 model of the Burgman 125 and it's an amazing scooter to use all day. The flap on the left houses the coolant and on my scooter you can leave the day running lights on and take your key out of the ignition.
Use to have a Honda Pantheon/FES 125 a few years back. Brilliant maxi scooter, great handling and loads of room. I do miss it but love my mt-125 to much :-D
Could you test some 2 stroke 125 supermotos? I've been thinking about buying an aprilia sx 125 but there's only a few reviews around there and i'm not old enough to test one by myself. Would be amazing if you'd find one to take on a test ride. Anyways, great video keep it up! :)
Good as always review mate! so... if you can make a choice between four scooters - honda pcx, yamaha majesty125 or yamaha nmax and suzuki burgman 125 what bike gonna be a winner?
As a very trusted reviewer, would you mind giving me your opinion of the ,ksr moto,125 cc,i have just got my cbt pass and am keen to buy my first bike ,we have a ksr dealership here in town ,thats newark notts uk,and wondered if you have time to give me your opinion,as the internet says some worrying thing ref ,chinese connections.
i think the shape is for aerodynamics, tbh i dont notice the difference they all look kinda the same to me, im just looking for a scooter that works the best and maybe this is it
mine goes 130km/h downhill i love it it is stable because it weights a ton! with small wheels+variator it slingshots! and you can store 2 helmets under your seat! it's a scoot-a-van! (only the x-max is faster. piaggio are faster but top speed is lower)
To give you the same feedback as many others did, just in a more positive way - go to the nice Yamaha store and ask them to lend you the T-MAX for a video review. This year, I bought Yamaha Majesty after seeing your neat review but it is becoming too small for me - I need to see your video of T-MAX before I can finally buy it... ;-)
"Speed has never killed anyone. Suddenly becoming stationary is what gets you" Clarkson said in TopGear. And this is true, depending on the speed you are doing before suddenly stopping.
Yes, "Accelerating" out of trouble double or triples your likelyhood of grave injury. The lower speed you hit something the better the outcome. If you need to accelerate out of trouble you should never have accelerated in the first place. Read the statistics. "Quick" overtakes in marginal conditions are almost the number one causes of head on bike accidents.
I know exactly what you mean about the looks. I have a Yamaha Majesty and this rounded look doesn't work for me (That ugly seat!!). Was looking at bikes yesterday with my son and we noted the lack of dedicated Suzuki shops in the USA yet there are Burgman 400 and 650 scooters all over (not sure I've ever seen the newer 200). They are supposed to be top notch but I couldn't get past not being able to find a dealer, for sales OR repair.
Cager para decorares essa do T-Max e X-Max, faz o seguinte. Visto que a T-Max é maior, tem mais cc e com linhas agressivas, considera-a como se fosse um T-Rex. T-Rex = T-Max
CagerOnTwoWheels Thanks for all the SPAM! :D No worries, I just wanted to catch your attention, so maybe you can work on it ;) Your English is definitely very good and I didn't mean to jab at it ;)
the moment i hear your breathing it feels like that i'm troubling inside space shuttle helmet with running out of o2,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,damnnnnnnnnnn ///// it makes me breath heavily tooooooo
i love this bike looks great. but you checked for ABS you dont wont abs on a bike its dangerous. i reckon new style scooter bike that look sharp are not as nice as rounded bikes
its an optional item too have on bikes in 2017. its nothing like having bumper and air bags on a bike you got too put in perspective your on two wheels not four. locking tires will course so many more deaths from the bike comming out from under you. i wont buy a bike with it.
You don't know how ABS works, do you? ABS stands for Anti-Locking Brake System which is the complete opposite of what you are saying. They don't lock up at all which with a vehicle without it will. Here....en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-lock_braking_system
There is a major problem with both the Burgman 125 and 200. Look carefully at the foot platform height. You will see it is too high, and the seat curves up too soon at the back. This means you cannot get back or high enough on the seat. The result is that your thighs/legs are angled upwards. Even if you spread your legs forward so you are on the "angled" part of the running board, your knees are still high. This puts strain on the hips and becomes extremely uncomfortable after a while. This is a major ergonomic design flaw by Suzuki. If you look at comparable "maxi" sized 125 scooters you will see that the seats are different and where you place your feet is much lower, giving more comfort. The whole platform/running boards are at least 6 inches too high. In all other ways this scooter is excellent, on performance, fuel economy, storage and comfort.
I'm considering buying this bike to work a full time delivery driver I have been doing that for a while now , i have posture and neck issues do you think this bike is not comfortable for me , it looks really comfortable comparing to Honda pcx
@@mrmoon1482 Actually it was the dealer that pointed this out to me before I made the decision to buy the 200 cc version. I'm passing it on to be helpful particularly for tall people. If you are shorter-legged it won't be such a problem and it isn't for me as long as I stretch my legs forward but it is very cramped if you place your feet on the flat (non-raised) part of the floor.
@@fingerhorn4 I’m 6”1 a down the Burgman 200 and the Yamaha xmax 300, the seat in position on the 200 is definitely no more cramped than my xmax, they have a long wheel base so the seat being lower than the xmax doesn’t make any difference to me, the knees are more raised but I find it very comfortable, the smaller scooters like the pcx and nmax are very cramped in comparison to the burgman 200, my sister ones the new pcx and I find it very uncomfortable compared to the burgman, anyone buying a bike should definitely test ride one before buying,
That cut away on the floor looks horrid. Plus it's space I like to put my feet. I don't think other company's missed out here, totally unnecersary, and looks bad
I only eat frozen bloodworm. I buy it at my local aquatic shop. It is nourishing and tasty. It also saves me time. As I'm not cooking meals, it means I can spend more time on my hobby, which is going into public lavatories and fishing out turds with my little fishing net.

The leg indentations make sense. I'm with you Cager, should be standard on all scoots. Great review, great scoot. Thanks.
the second mini compartment is the fuse box and my 2019 uh125 has ABS
Excellent review even if it's dated a bit. Thank you!

hay cager I think it's got a combained brakes on the rear lever like the new PCX and for new 2014 upgrade there is ABS version.
Not much a fan of scooters, but your reviews are great bro. speed safe!
Hey Cager. Love your videos. Could you do a road test of the Burgman 650? Thanks.
Could you test some 2 stroke 125 supermotos? I've been thinking about buying an aprilia sx 125 but there's only a few reviews around there and i'm not old enough to test one by myself. Would be amazing if you'd find one to take on a test ride. Anyways, great video keep it up! :)
Wonder if you could review the Burgman 650 cc
Have you actually done a T-Max video Cager? I can only find the X-Max one. I really want to see a T-Max vid.
Could you do reviews on bigger scooters? 150-300cc
How do you record the commentary .I have a go pro video camera .I enjoy what you have to say and would like to comment on my video on the move
Man, This accent doesnt lie.
Where are you from?

Great review! Please try Burgman 650 K5. it's suzuki 125 multiplied by 5 ;)
Think yr starting to like these maxi scoots... If u have Kawasaki in Portugal can u review the j300? Cheers
i was hoping for the adv1190 review...
Can you do a test drive on a sym jet 125cc because there is non in English because your review is very good it be a help 👍
Aprilia Atlantic 250 has those curved lines for legs since 2004 I think. :) This Burgman has very similar shapes even 11 years later... :)
When can we expect suzuki burgman 650 in kolkata..?
Suzuki burgman street 125 rear break disc ?
I own the xmax and Burgman And to be honest I love them both,
Hi am 6ft 3 would this bike be to small
mine goes 130km/h downhill i love it it is stable because it weights a ton! with small wheels+variator it slingshots!
and you can store 2 helmets under your seat! it's a scoot-a-van! (only the x-max is faster. piaggio are faster but top speed is lower)
You should check out the new Burgman Street 125 which is gonna launch in India on 19th July. Its very VERY different than what you have showcased here
The street is a budget scooter with air cooled 2 valve engine,
This has a liquid cooled 4 valve engine, and is much higher build quality,
Tbh it looks ugly, as if they run out of budget half way through designing

Are you the guy who did virtual barber?
So how does this work? You just walk into a bike shop and ask if you can borrow a bike to make a You Tube vid??
Very soon kolkata is going to be launch suzuki burgman 125 but when india will launch burgman 650
+CagerOnTwoWheels You said the Burgman 125 was like the T-MAX, butit's like the JoyMAX actually
Well, you sure tortured those tyres Cager.
Could you test ride BMW C650GT?

I really enjoy your videos!
Good review
bonjour pourquoi tu commente pas en portugais.
Et pourrai tu faire un essaye de la bmw 1200rt merci.
Continu comme sa .
Belle vidéo merci un grand bonjour de Belgique
La mejor scooter playera
Why would I buy a scooter when I can buy a good manual 125cc.........a proper bike!
But a good review as always Cager
Cos some people prefer the ease of a scooter and the storage space
cos somepeople's parents don let them get a proper bike.... I wasn't talking about me...
because 125 geared bikes are pointless
a j s My best years was on a 125cc Geared bike. Scooters are high powered mobility scooters.
geared 125's are pathetic they all look like they have trolly wheels, and using gears to get up to 60/70mph is just pointless
You think its out dated and 80 ish but no such design or scooter is available in india.. Its 2018 going. No clue why they dont launch here.
modi modi Might Launch in Auto Expo next month

i think you meant x max , not t max
Nice review
Hi Cager. Just curious. What is your height
1.74 m
Ah. that explains the roomy leg space shown in the video
Please learn your tmax vs xmax already! :) It's not that hard :)
***** Come on he is trying to speak English ( which he is very good at ) when his main language is Portuguese.

please launch this kind of scooter in india
