I swear Dolphin Shoals is a devil map. Whenever I try to get first on it for 3 stars I always get hit by a red shell right at the end causing me to get second... hopefully that Wario setup will make it easier.
i know dolphin shoals is the only map i also had problems :D thats why i played the airport so much but i guess after like 5-7 annoying tries i somehow did it..i also had the feeling that the cpus had a immense speed boost there xd it was really hard to catch up on that map sometimes
Just to point out that there are no speed bonus from the gliders that don't boost your acceleration. However, they ARE heavier, which might make you faster while airborne.
I see the hidden stats spreadsheet - but that's not very smart of us to just assume that the information has to be accurate and true to word just because its 1.) shown to us 2.) on a spreadsheet. I need proof considered most websites reference the wiki - and no air stat is shown for the gliders. there is 1.) loss of weight 2.) Gain in Accl and 3) Mini Boost gain. Nothing on the Wiki, which socially represents the best of collective information gathering and verifying. Note - Wiki makes no data available on per character stat differences versus the sub classes within each main weight category they belong to.
I've been calculating these stats ALL DAY, and I think the most balanced one that has the most speed is Donkey Kong with the Flame Rider bike, Slim tires, and the Parafoil. So all in all, this combination isn't the FASTEST by any means, but he's not the slowest at all, and he has very balanced turning and handling.
I wish mk8 was more simple. its like "if u use these wheels, and this glider, and this kart, It would be good for this course. But not this one" then mkwii... "this one is faster and good drift." boom
I really like to play with Rosalina on the Jet Bike with the Offroad Retro wheels and the MKTV Parafoil. It has great handling, it goes fast enough, it has a nice acceleration and I love those Offroad Retro wheels! I mainly use this for online races.
I have a few Questions I hope you will answer! 1. What do you think of the new inside drifting? Do you think it's actually better than normal drifting? 2. Why are you jumping so much? What are the advantages? 3. What is a Kart, Wheels, Glider you will NEVER use because of looks or stats? BTW my favorite combination is the semi-heavyweight characters (mostly DK or Waluigi) with the Circuit Special/Sports Coupe/Mach 8 with Standard/Blue Standard. With the Wario Wing.
When u jump after a boost panel or orange sparks, if gives u more speed, if u watch the WRs, you'll see that they also hop a lot. After any of those speed boosts, hopping while angling right or left gives u more speed, sometimes it can really help u pull ahead. MK8 is a lot of skill because if this, in MKW, u just gotta have timing, sharp lines, good strats, low jumps, etc. to get WRs, MK8 really has a lot more things like character combo, in this game there are a lot if different variations unlike MKW where everyone just used funky or daisy in the flame runner or Mach bike. MK8 takes so much more in consideration, that's why mk8 is a really nice game
Kevin Li I wouldn't say MK8 is more skill based than MKW, there's a lot more skill in MKW with the exact turning, tricks and wheelies at the right time. Especially if you take into account all ultra shortcuts in MKW.
At the moment it's Ludwig with either the landcruiser (it just fits for ludwig, pretty much is his ship) or the pipe frame. Then the cyber slicks, or off road wheels and lastly the waddle wing glider or the plane glider.
For me, I like the Mii, Retro Off-Roads, and the Cloud combination currently because the overall stats of it are pretty high. Although, I have yet to unlock every thing so my opinion might change...
The Time Trial Characters Combinations is pretty much like the same with MKWii. 1 character on almost all tracks (Funky), some a different character (Daisy) and for only 1 or 2 a small character (Toadette). :P
Roy/Yoshi bike/Crimson slim/bowser kite the acceleration hits the next "level" of acceletion, traction isn't TERRIBLE like slick and that handling bonus really helps : )
I usually go for the Circuit Special, rollers and any glider but those that sacrifice acceleration for weight. This vid pretty much confirmed what I was thinking. Ty!
I use: 1. Mii 2. Standart Bike 3. Slick (purple) 4. Standard Glider Tempo is nearly full. Half a bar is not full. Handling has 3 bar's full. :) And everything on my combination is purple! :D
Toad, landship, roller wheels, and hylan kite. Killer!! Once you get used to how the tracks flow the only two stats that really matter are top speed and acceleration. Using this combo you can take your fair share of hits (I'm a red shell magnet) but with some good driving still take the win because the acceleration and (and more importantly) the mini turbo boost stats are so high.
Super Heavyweight + Inside drifting bike + Roller wheels + +Accel glider. Honestly this setup is awesome, high speed, high accel, high weight and high handling. It's nifty
Nicely talked through, Troy. (GGs from today!) I like to use the Mario, Mach 8 or Circuit Special with Azure or Roller Wheels. Mario is one of my favourite characters and I think it's important to have a decent grip and acceleration stat for online, so this combination is perfect. I'm actually surprised by the affects the blooper has on the vehicle's drift, I find it quite difficult to cope with to be honest.
I use these two combinations: Morton/Jet Bike/Azure Roller/Cloud Glider Pros: -Unreasonably high acceleration for the amount of speed it has -good weight and good handling -Inside drift -Good hidden stats (Water speed and air speed mostly) Cons: -Can be a tough combination to use on Rainbow Road and Mount Wario (for me at least) -Bad traction Bowser/Pipe Frame/Slim/Gold Glider Pros: -Looks cool -Good speed and handling -Fire hopping -Seems to be really good in water for some reason -Better traction than the combination above Cons: -Poor acceleration
I like to use Rosalina, the Comet, slick tires, and the cloud glider for online because I like inward-drifting bikes and this gives me a good amount of speed, average acceleration, and good weight and decent handling.
I'm very glad that there isn't anything too OP in MK8 as of yet. Funky Kong + Flame Runner + recovery boost and Daisy + Mach Bike + recovery boost pretty much ruined Mario Kart Wii for me in terms of balance. I usually go with Toad, Jet Bike, Slick Wheels, and the Cloud Glider because both acceleration and speed are fairly balanced. Plus, the double boost after drifting lasts for quite a while :)
At the moment I'm rocking Waluigi or Roy with the Pipe Frame + Slim + Wario Wing. It's got good speed and decent handling with acceleration just high enough that it's not horribly painful for me if something goes wrong. Plus I love the way that MK64 kart looks
my character/vehicle combos are usually: Any character except the Metal Copies/Babies/DLC characters except Dry Bowser + Speed Kart/Hybrid-Drifting Bike + Monster/Slick/Slim variants + Any Glider
Wow, never knew this game involved so much skill!! First I started playing with my mii or yoshi with sport bike and slim. That's when I noticed it was nothing compared to mario kart wii. In mario kart 8, I think your best chance of winning is with a super heavy on a good handling kart. My combo right now is Donkey kong, gold kart and Cyber Slick *or* Shy guy, gold kart and gold tires. Nice video Troy :))
My preferred combination: Toadette in the Circuit Special with Cyber Slick Wheels and Plane Glider. I use Toadette because she's always been one of my favorite characters from the Mario franchise. Not sure why. I used her in DD as well. I use the car combo I do because it's the highest top speed you can get and (with a small character) all stats balance out rather nicely with it.
You really should make a 1vs1 on all the track like in MKW. I know we can't expect that anytime soon. You just start exploring the game, but it's a cool thing to keep in mind :D
It’s Ok. I would recommend roller wheels, and I (And a lot of people) prefer less speedy and more other stat focused vehicles like bitty buggy, the scooter thing(I forget name) and land ship. Glider cloud is gud. Character is your preference
Lemmy, Biddybuggy, Azure Roller, Bowser Kite. It may not be fast, but it has great acceleration, very light, amazing handling, good for drifting, and it is JUST shy of the highest miniturbo possible.
Usually use the: -b dasher - button or cyber slick wheels -the link kite I use this because the b dasher is heaps fast and with the buttons as wheels, the acceleration is also 3 and a bit bars, good weight, but grip is only 2 bars, so be a good drifter Also I use Bowser, this is a beast combination
Bowser, speed kart, button wheels (or rollers) About 5 speed, 3 acceleration (to hit that accel tier), and great handling/traction stats I won a tournament with this, and everyone else was using inside drift bikes.
I like to use Toad with the P-wing, Retro Off-Road, and either the MKTV parafoil or the plane glider because Toad overall is one of the fastest characters and he is also good at drifting and traction.
I like light weight characters with High acceleration and Handeling, so that when I mess up I'm back on track quickly, and I can take the inner turns easely
Metal Mario, Red Monster, B Dasher, and any light glider was the best competitive and time trial combo for MK7 lol. Btw I use Koopa, B Dasher, Rollers and Cloud Glider in MK8
I mainly always use any of the fastest karts in the game with the slicks (either one) and the MKTV Glider, and use either Bowser if i want pure speed, Rosalina if i need some acceneration, or Mario if I want to just derp around a bit more
I'm the same as you Troy - DK is my go-to guy with Circuit Special, Crimson Slim Wheels and one of the accel boosting gliders. It's got good drift, speed and the acceleration doesn't feel too punishing.
A really great combonation in this game for pro players online is the Rosalina/Waluigi etc category characters, yoshi/sports bike(I like inside drift, but I'm sure there are outside drift alternatives), slim wheels, and glider doesn't really matter but I prefer acceleration gliders. I've gotten a win steak (as in 1st place, nothing else) of 50 before online using this, as it works well for having extremely high accelaeration for getting ahead early on, and high enough speed that with coins you will almost for sure stay ahead. I have gotten 1st place getting hit by 3 blue shells in one game, since the kart has above average accelaration. The only thing is the combo has basically NO TRACTION. If you are bad at drifting or you go offroad like EVER, this is not the combo for you.
Waluigi/Landship/slim/plane glider is the combo I use online. Average weight and land speed with above average acceleration, and tier 5 water and air speed. Below average traction doesn't really bug me much at all.
Heavyweight/Mach 8-type kart/Roller or Button/Acceleration Glider is the combo I use. Once you know the tracks, this combo will get you to win most races easily online.
I really like using Toad with the Biddyguggy and roller wheels. Insane handling, traction, and acceleration, but almost zero speed. It also boosts miniturbo by 1.75 if I remember correctly. So paired with hitting lines on point, drifting, and using fire hopping and demon sliding as well as soft drifting, you'll have mad miniturbo and be able to essentially overtake anyone who passes you due to lack of speed if you play it correctly. It's also got a wicked turning radius, so tight drifts are a breeze.
Eli Webster thats a really good combination, i think you’re character should be a bit more heavy, like ludwig, dk, or link botw. But if you aren’t that good at 200cc, just play with toad
Simon van Prooijen no, you need the light weight character for the acceleration and handling. The reason I do that is bc then if I get hit by a shell or anything I'll be able to speed back up quickly. I will try it with a heavy sometime tho, sounds interesting.
Ok, my favorite combo to use online is Waluigi with the gold kart, button wheels, and the plane glider (until I get the gold glider). It has great speed and acceleration while still weighing a good amount.
I use Iggy, Sports Bike, Slick Wheels, and MKTV Parafoil. I like This combo because Iggy has good speed but not terrible traction like the super heavy characters. The MKTV Parafoil looks very good and the slick tires are great for speed.
Online I like to use Iggy in the Gold Kart with Leaf Tires and Cloud Glider, or Lemmy or Larry in the Gold Kart with Slick Tires and acceleration glider. Those combos seem to do well with me, despite using light and medium characters
I haven't found anything that works better for me than any baby character (or Isabelle), Mr. Scooty, azure rollers, and any light glider. A setup I designed to get my speed stat as low as possible ended up actually being pretty good because speed is one of the less important stats.
back in mkwii, all I used was Mach bike. I even used it before I knew it was one of the best bikes in the game. so for me, I tried to replicate it in as much as I could in mkwii.
I use Metal Mario on the City Tripper with Roller Wheels and Hylian Kite. This is stat wise the same as what i use to use before the DLC came out. The secret stats are the same too. Just with some odd loss and not to much gain. A lot of those secret stats are 0. Otherwise it is a good mix of stats. Kind of odd secret stats aside. Never noticed them outside of Time Trials. This mix keeps my overall stats not to far apart. I really kick ass with this setup!
I like to use a metal character with: Circuit Special Roller tires Cloud glider It has a high max speed and medium acceleration. This combination also works with Waluigi, DK, and Rosalina.
Nice video!!! I think i don't have all understand cause basically i'm french and my english is really NOT perfect BUT the kart combinations are very interesting. Thanks one more time, i test that stuff in my home!!!
I usually use the Jet Bike, the Slim Wheels and the Plane Glider. I normally use my Mii, which is medium weight. Is this a good combination or a bad combination?
I don't see many peeps use it, but I use the birdy buggy (I think that's the right name for it), with the slick tires, and the mktv parachute... I also use my mii as the character... The reason why I use these is because it's good on acceleration and also has a great top speed... Handling isn't the best but once I got used to it I didn't have any issues anymore :)
i like too use the: heavy weight mii, city tripper( optional bowser amiibo costume), azure rollers, and the cloud glider. it has a very balanced speed, acceleration, and weight
No. Most viable is any heavyweights (can be anywhere from extreme heavyweights to cruiserweights), using the Splat Buggy/Mach 8/Streetle/Biddy Buggy/Pipe Frame, and Blue Falcon with either Azure Rollers or Roller wheels (Slick wheels on Pipe Frame or Mach 8), and using the Cloud Glider.
Toadette in prancer with wood wheels and peach parasol. First of all it's fabulous lemme just say that right now :D. It's got good traction, handling, good in underwater and air. It's also very funny when I beat everyone and I'm like the ONLY Toadette user their.
Jack O I don't have MK8 yet, but on MK7 I use Shy Guy, Bruiser, Wood Wheels and Peach Parasol. Once I get it, though, I will use Blue Seven and Gold Wheels.
Thing to note:
Acceleration goes in tiers. 2.00 accelerates just as fast as 2.75 does. Go for whole numbers!
***** I know once you fall behind it is insanely hard to catch back up.
I thought i was the only one having trouble with dolphin shoals lol
wigglerfan10 yeah, my friend is having trouble with it too. I just get major bad luck on it.
Yeah, 150cc or Mirror Mode, the CPU's show no mercy on that track for some reason, took me forever to come in on first that track myself.
ok, everyones gonna think im weird, but i think the sports coupe is beautiful XD
You’re not weird you’re right
Omg this comment is 5 years old
It is beautiful
Beautiful
BEAUTIFUL
Just to point out that there are no speed bonus from the gliders that don't boost your acceleration. However, they ARE heavier, which might make you faster while airborne.
Oops! My bad!
But, personnaly, I'd rather take the acceleration, since I'm a heavy user.

There are flat speed boost from the gliders, this is confirmed information, although various unverified internet sources may say otherwise.
I've been calculating these stats ALL DAY, and I think the most balanced one that has the most speed is Donkey Kong with the Flame Rider bike, Slim tires, and the Parafoil. ludwig
standard bike
cushion
mktv parafoil
+Ellis Brown
with dlc
villager (boy)
blue falcon
slick
parafoil
This was before any of the DLC. I'd have to calculate the numbers again and see how my original analysis holds up.
Andrew Zbinden Morton with the Circuit Special kart, and the Slick tires, and Bowser Kite.
Andrew Zbinden we have the same initials! Wow!
I wish mk8 was more simple. its like "if u use these wheels, and this glider, and this kart, It would be good for this course. But not this one"
then mkwii... "this one is faster and good drift." boom
Wumbo123 Even though Troy said that any combo can be used online, but anyways...
@@bsel2446 man imagine replying to comments 2 years later
Mario Kart Wii may be more simple, but it’s super unfair in character/vehicle combos
Jayden Jensen isn’t that what you did though?
I really like to play with Rosalina on the Jet Bike with the Offroad Retro wheels and the MKTV Parafoil. It has great handling, it goes fast enough, it has a nice acceleration and I love those Offroad Retro wheels! I mainly use this for online races.

Jacob You never know, MK8 could be extremely broken.
No.
They will. There already is CTGP Revolution for Wii-U.
At the moment it's Ludwig with either the landcruiser (it just fits for ludwig, pretty much is his ship) or the pipe frame. Then the cyber slicks, or off road wheels and lastly the waddle wing glider or the plane glider.

Waluigi,Rosalina,DK etc.
Gold Kart/Mach 8/Circuit Special + Roller + Super Glider
Speed is 4.25 but you have 3 acceleration!
Roy/Yoshi bike/Crimson slim/bowser kite
the acceleration hits the next "level" of acceletion, traction isn't TERRIBLE like slick and that handling bonus really helps : )
Lol i just realized that the Dry Dry Desert wr was 2:01.666, same as Troy's old Dk Mountain WR!
I usually go for the Circuit Special, rollers and any glider but those that sacrifice acceleration for weight. This vid pretty much confirmed what I was thinking. Ty!
Metal Mario, circuit special, metal wheels, mktv glider it has amazing speed
Bowser, sport bike, slim, parafoil is amazing. Todd handling and great speed
My favorite combination currently is Wario + Circuit Special + Slim + MKTV Parafoil.
Iggy/Flame Rider/Slim Wheels/Cloud Glider or Wario Wing. it just feels so perfect
I use:
1. Mii
2. Standart Bike
3. Slick (purple)
4. Standard Glider
Tempo is nearly full. Half a bar is not full.
Handling has 3 bar's full. :)
And everything on my combination is purple! :D

Circuit Special, Slick, MKTV Glider. That combo is fast and looks awesome!!! :D
This guy deserves more Credit love his vids 👏🏻
No way Roller wheels have ALWAYS Been Meta...
Tip: Use your favourite character and pick a kart combination that looks badass
Super Heavyweight + Inside drifting bike + Roller wheels + +Accel glider. Honestly this setup is awesome, high speed, high accel, high weight and high handling. It's nifty
My combination for everything:
Everything Gold and Goldpeach^^
OMFG! I FOUND OUT THE BEST COMBINATION FOR ONLINE! Gold kart. Gold Wheels. Gold hanglider!!!
Some people DON'T HAVE THEM
My favourite vehicle combination:
Metal Mario, Circuit Special body, Slick wheels, and the Wario Wing glider.
I use Mario, Sports Coupe, Crimson Slim or Off-Road, and the Cloud Parafoil. This combination helps me hug the corners while drifting.
Nicely talked through, Troy. (GGs from today!)
I like to use the Mario, Mach 8 or Circuit Special with Azure or Roller Wheels. Mario is one of my favourite characters and I think it's important to have a decent grip and acceleration stat for online, so this combination is perfect.
I'm actually surprised by the affects the blooper has on the vehicle's drift, I find it quite difficult to cope with to be honest.
I use these two combinations:
Morton/Jet Bike/Azure Roller/Cloud Glider
Pros:
-Unreasonably high acceleration for the amount of speed it has
-good weight and good handling
-Inside drift
-Good hidden stats (Water speed and air speed mostly)
Cons:
-Can be a tough combination to use on Rainbow Road and Mount Wario (for me at least)
-Bad traction
Bowser/Pipe Frame/Slim/Gold Glider
Pros:
-Looks cool
-Good speed and handling
-Fire hopping
-Seems to be really good in water for some reason
-Better traction than the combination above
Cons:
-Poor acceleration
Heavy Mii + Sport Bike + Golden Wheels + Mk8 TV Glider Great looks, and not many players have those golden wheels.
Back then: hmmm...
2021: WAH do you mean?!?
I use waluigi/dk/rosalina weight, sport bikes, slick tires and +acceleration gliders.
I love the semi heavyweight with the sports coupe and slim tires. Good speed but still good handling
I like to use Rosalina, the Comet, slick tires, and the cloud glider for online because I like inward-drifting bikes and this gives me a good amount of speed, average acceleration, and good weight and decent handling.

Any character except the Metal Copies/Babies/DLC characters except Dry Bowser + Speed Kart/Hybrid-Drifting Bike + Monster/Slick/Slim variants + Any Glider

Toadette in the Circuit Special with Cyber Slick Wheels and Plane Glider. I use Toadette because she's always been one of my favorite characters from the Mario franchise. Not sure why. Wheel: Cyber Slick
Glider; Cloud/Parafoil
Good Combo Or Nah?
+Expand Dong Thank You. My Favorite Character In All Of Nintendo Is Donkey Kong. So, Thank You.
+Expand Dong Pretty much. But the best one is:
Blue Falcon/Streetle
Slick/Cyber Slick
Wario/Bowser/Dry Bowser/Morton/Heavy Mii
Glider doesn't matter.
It’s Ok. I would recommend roller wheels, and I (And a lot of people) prefer less speedy and more other stat focused vehicles like bitty buggy, the scooter thing(I forget name) and land ship. Glider cloud is gud. Character is your preference
Here’s me tryna get all this even though I just got the game and haven’t unlocked anything
Metal/reg Mario, circuit spec./ retro off-road, good combo of everything!
My main setup is Metal Mario or Rosalina with Pipe Frame and Cyber Slick, serves me pretty well online or on time trials
Metals are downgrades to cruisers on non-offroad tracks, dont use them
I'm using Roy + Sports Bike + Slim tires
Looks so badass xD
Lemmy, Biddybuggy, Azure Roller, Bowser Kite. It may not be fast, but it has great acceleration, very light, amazing handling, good for drifting, and it is JUST shy of the highest miniturbo possible.
Iggy - friggen awesome character
Special circut - speed
Cyber slick - looks cooler than slick :3
MKTV glider - Reminds me of the paraglider from mk7
I like to use Larry with the airship kart, rollers and squirrel glider, it's good for tracks like dry dry desert with sharp turns.
Usually use the:
-b dasher
- button or cyber slick wheels
-the link kite
I use this because the b dasher is heaps fast and with the buttons as wheels, the acceleration is also 3 and a bit bars, good weight, but grip is only 2 bars, so be a good drifter
Also I use Bowser, this is a beast combination
Bowser, speed kart, button wheels (or rollers)
About 5 speed, 3 acceleration (to hit that accel tier), and great handling/traction stats
I won a tournament with this, and everyone else was using inside drift bikes.
Yoshi /Shy Guy
pipe frame
roller
MKTV parafoil
Rosalina, Gold Kart, Azure Rollers and Gold Glider is my go to selection but my second choice is Red Yoshi, F-Zero kart, Rollers and Gold Glider.
I mainly always use any of the fastest karts in the game with the slicks (either one) and the MKTV Glider, and use either Bowser if i want pure speed, Rosalina if i need some acceneration, or Mario if I want to just derp around a bit more
Morton, slick, blue falcon
that's it
I'm the same as you Troy - DK is my go-to guy with Circuit Special, Crimson Slim Wheels and one of the accel boosting gliders.
Waluigi/Landship/slim/plane glider is the combo I use online. Average weight and land speed with above average acceleration, and tier 5 water and air speed. Below average traction doesn't really bug me much at all.
DK with circuit special and cyber slicks. High speed but with tier 2 acceleration. I say it's a great compromise.
One of the Waluigi weight class characters with the inside drifting bikes. I don't know why, I'm just good with them :D
bowser jr with pirate ship cart, little rolly wheels, and standard kite is my favorite
What he means by 'Best Vehicles', mostly on Online, is to use online. Morton is the most used person, character for WR (check speed for faster).
I like to use either Pipe Frame, Circuit Special, or Standard ATV, Cyber Slicks, and really any Glider :)
Rosalina, yoshi bike, slick wheels and cloud glider is a good combo for balanced stats (:
Wario Biddybuggy Slim Cloud Glider.
So OP on underwater, good handling and traction. Good acceleration.
For Online : Ludwig, Sport Bike, Cyber Slick, Cloud Glider. For Time Trials (Straightaway Courses) : Pink Gold Peach, Gold Kart, Gold Wheels, Cloud Glider. For Cornered Courses : Ludwig, Jet Bike, Cyber Slick, Waddle Wing
I've been using Heavy Mii, Mach 8, Cyber Slick, MKTV in my 32 race runs.
Online:
Character: Donkey Kong
Kart: Sports Coupe
Wheels: Cyber Slim
Glider: Bowser Kite
Cuz it's quick, sleek, and awesome looking.
Just unlocked the final character, Morton! I'm excited to try some of your combos Troy! :D
Currently, who is your absolute favourite character? :)
I like to use a metal character with:
Circuit Special
Roller tires
Cloud glider
It has a high max speed and medium acceleration. This combination also works with Waluigi, DK, and Rosalina.
There's only one metal character tho
Nice video!!! I think i don't have all understand cause basically i'm french and my english is really NOT perfect BUT the kart combinations are very interesting. Thanks one more time, i test that stuff in my home!!!
My AWESOME combo for Bothnialopp offline and online (no tt) is: Metal Mario, Steel Driver, Cushion Wheels, Waddle Wing
I only got MK8 today, so I use:
Wario
Airship
Slim Wheels
Cloud Glider
I like it because it's well balanced on most things.
I heard that Rosalina in the Jet Bike is one of the best combos
Ludwig, sport bike, and slim because mkwii got me so used to inside drifting bikes with high speed
My combo:
-Lemmy
-Bone Rattler
-Roller or azure roller
-Plane or gold glider
I usually use the Jet Bike, the Slim Wheels and the Plane Glider.
I normally use my Mii, which is medium weight.
Is this a good combination or a bad combination?
Bad
Good
Jack go on mario kart 8 kart builder and look up the stats
I don't see many peeps use it, but I use the birdy buggy (I think that's the right name for it), with the slick tires, and the mktv parachute... I also use my mii as the character... The reason why I use these is because it's good on acceleration and also has a great top speed... Handling isn't the best but once I got used to it I didn't have any issues anymore :)
I use pretty much every character, but my favorite is Roy. I like using the Mach 8 with Crimson Slim and the Bowser Kite.
I use Roy Sports Coupe Button (really underrated wheels) and the MKTV Glider. Every section has decent stats except for traction.
i like too use the: heavy weight mii, city tripper( optional bowser amiibo costume), azure rollers, and the cloud glider. it has a very balanced speed, acceleration, and weight
Will these be the same with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe?
No. Most viable is any heavyweights (can be anywhere from extreme heavyweights to cruiserweights), using the Splat Buggy/Mach 8/Streetle/Biddy Buggy/Pipe Frame, and Blue Falcon with either Azure Rollers or Roller wheels (Slick wheels on Pipe Frame or Mach 8), and using the Cloud Glider.
lol roller wheels..
no
Yep
Toadette in prancer with wood wheels and peach parasol. First of all it's fabulous lemme just say that right now :D. It's got good traction, handling, good in underwater and air. It's also very funny when I beat everyone and I'm like the ONLY Toadette user their.
Ludwig, Wiggler ATV, Off Road retro and cloud Parafoil
It's Koopa Kart :D
I like that Combo too i use Ludwig,Yoshi bike, Plane or Cloud Glider :)
I use Roy, Yoshi Bike, Slick and Bowser Glider
Jack O I don't have MK8 yet, but on MK7 I use Shy Guy, Bruiser, Wood Wheels and Peach Parasol. Once I get it, though, I will use Blue Seven and Gold Wheels.
Heavy Mii/Jet Bike/Azure Rollers/Cloud Glider
Once you get used to it, it seems to be OP ;)
