- If Mario Kart Wii had no invisible walls, there would be even more shortcuts which would balance out the already existing shortcuts... because that's how things work right?

Hey guys it's Troy here! I am the only one in the sub-only online lobby with this mod enabled so I was demonstrating shortcuts, often going backwards after to get mushrooms, to keep trying other ideas. It wasn't serious racing but just to show an example of what these shortcuts would look like in an online race IF invisible walls didn't exist.

You should try out the No lakitu for MK8Deluxe, you would love that one
Would it maybe be possible to also completely disable the Key-Checkpoint (ie make Laps always count)? I think that in combination with this mod could make for some insane skips!

Skipping the entire u-turn on GCN Mario Circuit is the most classic and perfect non-invisible wall shortcut of them all!
It feels so right!

Troy, we need some sort of no invisible wall series or tournament where you race with subscribers and are able to do these shortcuts. It would be awesome !
The non-invisible wall shortcut on Coconut Mall is the most glitchy shortcut of them all!
It exists in vanilla too, it's just very difficult lol

The character vehicle combo actually is cursed to an extent
6:22 if you didn't leave the grass and continued on the right side of the pillar to the end, then drifted around and back into grass and to the otherside of the parking lot and by the pillar again you - it would've counted for another lap.

What if you could be any character in any vehicle? For example, Dry Bones in the Flame Runner, King Boo in the Bullet Bike, Funky Kong in the Mach Bike, ect.

holy shit, I never seen Yoshi ride on top of Mario, it looks more like a glitch, Mario is supposed to ride on Yoshi, but good thing you didn't use it in CTGP, if you do, while putting it in the my stuff folder, it's totally going to crash the game, and yeah I'll resets itself brings you back to the menu and gives you an error message, remember it can't except glitches, so my most favorite characters I always use, Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Rosalina, Funky Kong, Dry Bowser, Baby Luigi, Baby Daisy, Mii, you know, they have a speed bonus, with high speed stats, offroad stats, good handling stats, they can also jump way higher off from ramps and boost ramps, to hop to zoom off or doing trick moves, that's what makes them the fastest characters, even most people play as them as well too, all the time, oh such good joy meant, people who are any fast character fan's, yippee, you did it good job on the those expert shortcuts, easy shortcuts, hard shortcuts, ultra-shortcuts, glitchy shortcuts, keep up the good work.

Shortcuts, glitches and bugs are just best salt in old games like in some games delvelopers should just leave un optimized stuff in and don’t patch glitches

I'm not a huge fan of the more in-depth and somewhat choppy editing. It does give a more professional appearance, which I'm sure appeals to a wider audience, but it feels less personal. I do understand wanting that wider appeal, though.
