- We have a Pocket Gopher problem next to my house. Thankfully my brother has some experience trapping them in his own field. This is a very simple method, hope you enjoy this DIY pest control video. I assume this method would work on moles as well.

That's awesome! I trapped gopher's as a kid. We dug into the hole and put at metal trap with two claws on it, attached to a chain. I love the tube design, much easier to check.

Used to trap gophers for the local convenience store when I was a kid. I got a pop for each gopher I caught. It wasn't much but it was honest work.

Have you ever tried "the Rodenator"? I trapped them as a kid but blowing them to kingdom come with the Rodenator as an adult is a lot of fun.

Gopher tunnels can get ya stuck in the rut and can quite painfully twist your ankle. LOL 👍😒
Lol, I have fell in my fair share of gopher holes over the years.
I'm not having any luck with any of the traps. 3 gopher hawks, and they sit there in the ground in different areas, for different gophers with no luck, keep moving them to other parts of property, nothing. I use box type traps, but they get back filled. I've tried for months. we have hard ground, clay and rocks. I'm not sure what else to do.
Bait it. Just a carrot or celery they can smell. If it is an active run, it will catch him in 15-20 minutes. If no luck, you definitely have a vacated run. Try a different mound.
So can we have have a catch and cook please?

Bought hawk recently just the trap no need for the probing tool i just use the water hose go in top center of mound to open hole let water run to reopen the hole then place hawk in 45° angle & catch these varments every time great trap nothing else beats the hawk..
