The problem with their "plan" is they'll reach for need like last year and screw up the draft again. Since they don't go after top free agents that will make an impact and don't do squat at the trade deadline, we will keep falling behind the Eagles and that sucks.

They are hitting the reset button. Taking Daks 59.5 million cap hit this season, and let him play out his final year on his contract as well as the entire coaching staffs final year on their contract. Lawrence final year, Martin can go next year. The core players to build back around Parsons and Diggs on defense and Tyler Smith and CeeDee Lamb on offense. Play this season out with a decent team and start a rebuild with bunch of room on salary cap next season.. That's their thought process.

The Cowboys put zero value in the RB position. Tony D. and Emmitt were the only lightfooted, finesse running backs that succeeded here in Dallas. We need a BIG power back that can block and catch the ball. The RB position can be another level of blocking for the QB and needs to be valued, at least, equal to the WR position. Get it done Jerry!!🤨

I remember after the green bay loss so many fans yelled and cried how the cowboys needed to blow the whole thing up and start over. I told them it takes about 3 years to turn it around from a complete blow up. Well, next time they may be careful what they wish for because now every comment is bitter and angry about them doing exactly what they wanted. I have also heard that jimmy as an advisor has advised getting different players in here. Certain type of players.
