I just recently re-watched the #1 Miss. St vs #5 Bama game when Dak was the qb. He performed exactly like he does in every big game. He kept the game close while throwing 3 interceptions and losing in the end. It was like Deja Vu.
I’m personally sick of this Dak conversation…Pay the man and move on, bc there are no QB’s out there that make better options, just get him weapons and roll with it!!!
He has had weapons. He can't get it done. Plus if you pay dak the money he wants your not getting any weapons to with him.

I think if they're truly going to blow it up, McCarthy is also gone and that makes everything about this that much more complicated. As it pertains to Dak's salary, he is going to get paid even if it's not here.

Cousins would be an improvement in the accuracy and levelheadedness in the game. But, like Dak, he has the propensity to throw that “crazy one” at least once a game.

In the PLAYOFFS: Dak throws 2 TDS to 1 INT while Kirk has 5 TDS to 1 INT. Dak is slightly better in the regular season.

All this drama is par for the course for JJ and front office. The deal will get done. They are building a great O-line for Dak and to bring the running game back plus adding to defense to stop the run. If you can’t run the ball of stop the run, no QB can win the big one. No QB.

It’s a simple algorithm, Dakota wants to earn an amount of money he has never shown he deserves. We can pay him 75 millions a year after winning 3 superbowls in a row or we can pay him 25 millions a year until he gets us into a NFC championship game

I'd prefer Lance at 20 mil APY than DAK at 60 or Kirk at 40. as a Californian, we've probably seen more of Lance as a Niner than a lot of the country. I also can't imagine another quarterback more motivated to beat the Niners in the playoffs than Lance.

Career wise Kirk has played on far inferior teams. But in the last couple of years, both QBs have nearly identical ratings and kirk has been far superior to Dak against winning teams. In 2023, he beat SF and GB, teams Dak completely sh*t the bed playing. During those wins, I've seen Kirk elevate his and his team's play and had signature type wins. Dak has never had a signature game. If I could get that at half price, I'll take it. So I present Kirk vs 49ers and the Packers 2023, what games can you present? I'll wait.....

1. Wins and losses are a team stat, not a QB stat.
2. Minn's defense held GB to 10 points. If our defense holds GB to 10 points we win that game.
3. SF played Minn when Deebo was hurt right in the middle of their 3 game losing streak. Completely different team from when we played them. Minn also held a clearly broken offense to 17 points, not 42.
This is why this low depth of thought argument about "QB's being personally responsible for wins and losses" is exactly that, a low depth of thought argument that takes into account zero other factors that impact a game.

How you're playing now as opposed to 5 years ago is factual data, not recency bias. I'm not dismissing the rest of the team's play in those games, but the rest of the team didn't gift the other teams with pick 6s and as good as. Nor is anyone on defense looking to be the highest paid player ever. It's a team sport but even in a loss you can evaluate an individual's production and your QB crush fails every time. I wish it wasn't so, Dak is a great story, great guy, and plays for my team. But he just isn't good enough, and absolutely isn't worth in excess of 60 million per year. Kirk? Same. But same at half the price, I could support that as a bridge into the next team.

Questions for the fans who keep flapping their gums about wondering why Dak hasn't gotten an extension yet. Are you crazy and have you been living under a rock for the last 8 seasons? Dak cant win big games. The Joneses realize they made a mistake by giving Dak all of that money, ESPECIALLY for subpar playoff performances, and they don't want to either repeat or prolong that mistake. Its just that simple and more and more fans are realizing this. Wake up and smell reality, people. Now if Dak proves us wrong and wins a Superbowl, great! Id LOVE for him to do that. I dont see it happening though and we need to work on cutting bait with him, not EXTENDING him and being stuck with him for even MORE seasons. 😒
2 bad playoff games out of 7. And winning a SB is hard enough without a front office that treats the team like a marketing firm and does a third of its job in terms of roster building. It's been 28 years for a reason, not just the 8 you cherry picked.
@@bdgrey Well, we're specifically talking about Dak here so that's why I focused on the last 8 seasons for THIS discussion. But you are correct. Our issues go WAY further back than Dak. All starting when Jerry Jones made the idiotic comments that ran Jimmy Johnson off. Also, let's talk about Tony Romo. He was basically Dak Part one and toward the middle to end of his career my opinions of him AND how Jerry Jones handled HIS contracts are exactly the same as my opinions are now. Tony Romo should never have been paid that much money on that last contract and we probably should have let him walk.

Look at our defense because that is what hurts us with the caliber of players we have, Parsons had 2.3 tackles per game last year, 2021-64, 2022-42, 2023-36!! OL protects and Dak does good, other QB's are good because of a good OL.
