No Jones hasn’t messed up. It’s the number 1 franchise in sports. Mission accomplished. Dominating the coverage and hasn’t won the Super Bowl since the 90s. If he was serious about that trophy cabinet he would have let Jimmy Johnson carry on until he fell off like Belicheck even if he couldn’t stand him. That team would have won more Aikman said and he was right and I’m not a cowboys fan neither.

Jerry may have been a HoF Owner in his 35 year tenure; however, he would have EASILY been fired as an NFL GM at least 6 times in that same period of time. This is based on his performance, objective evidence of his performance.

John Elway was one of the greatest QB's of all time. Period. But for the first decade plus, he had Dan Reeves as his head coach and GM. Dan Marino, never had that supporting cast after the first 2 years of his career. Having 7 or 8 pro bowlers on the team is all well and good, but you need the rest of the supporting cast. Jerry gathers players, Bill B built "Teams" around his QB.
I remember the good old days when Clint Murchison was the owner of the Cowboys. He allowed Tom Landry to run and make decisions for the team

What disaster? The same team that wins 12 games every season will be returning in 2024. With a salary cap system, when has any team been able to pay every stud on their team? Dallas will be 12-5, possibly win the NFC East again, lose a playoff game 30-27, and then Dak Prescott can shoulder all of the blame once again.
I was a life long cowboys fan until that last playoff game. And I knew. I knew. Jerry Jones will not do what it takes to at least make it to the super bowl. I mean that last playoff game was a complete embarrassment. Complete embarrassment!!!
