It worked! I just got a permanent marker stain on my brand new hardwood floor. I first used bug spray as it was recommended by Alexa. But it did not work. Then, I found this video and used nail polish remover. The stain Is GONE! Thank you!

Be careful. I tried this with 100% pure acetone nail polish remover on a bounty paper towel and it took off the permanent marker but also stripped the hardwood sealant

Denatured alchohol. Depends on what specific type of LVP flooring though. Acetone can damage some vinyl unfortunately.
