I just want it to know about me and my life … listing my dr details for upcoming appointments, checking if my schedule is clear afterwards, sending a note to friend .. simple stuff, but with voice commands .. I don’t need the world at my fingertips … just mine!

Not necessarily, Grammarly is still better for professional writing. As someone whose life is basically working with text in every way every day, ChatGPT/AI generated text is still quite underwhelming in quality if your prompt isn’t extremely precise, at least for proofreading or rewriting. The summaries are quite good though.
@@_michel I agree. I can attest to that as well. I personally use grammarly for my academic writing. But they will definitely see a significant loss in their subscriptions due to the integration of ai in iDevices natively.
Apple Intelligence started the same day they announced it. There's nothing under the hood except for 3rd party apps like OpenAI filling the void BUT no one's in a hurry for these features anyway so Apple can take their time to build a strong baseline before taking off. I give it 3 full years before we can see any material impact.

Now, even if the full release is 2025, we know it’s not “vaporware”.
Its very tempting BUT Just be mindful that if you’re not in the USA and you change your region to the USA that everything you downloaded and purchased are region locked to the country you had before the switch so you’ll lose all your downloads, the apps you use might not work as it thinks you’re in another country. Honestly I would wait for the official release and Apple releases it worldwide. It’s very tempting to try it but it’s not worth it.
Just wana say that this Siri is still the same but the ui has changed thats it. So do I recommend you download it? Well if you wana have a cool Siri ui hell yeah. If you actually want the new and improved siri, i would just wait

@@T.ShravanVignesh I’m having a problem getting it on my iPad for some reason. So can’t help you there. Just read and check everything it tells you to do. If you still can’t then there may be an issue that may be resolved in the next update

Good review on the AI features. I also wanted to note that the repetitive audio track i the background gets a bit annoying after a while.
To get Apple AI in the UK just change your region and language to the US and then joining the waitlist becomes an option.

Siri is not much improved in this build as it is mainly only the new Siri UI, rather than Siri 2.0 and all the improvements which come with it :’)
Doesn't work on my iPad, sadly. I have an older Pro (2nd gen, I think?) and I don't have any plans to upgrade just to get Apple Intelligence.

Type to Siri is not working for me currently. Using the iPad Air 5th generation running iPadOS 18.1 beta.
Try soft resetting (turning off and on the device) and it should work normally after that. It worked for me on my 15 Pro.
