A a lifetime Buckeyes fan, one thing that really stood out after this game was the number of Penn State fans that took the time to tip their hat instead of whining and crying. It takes some real class to get online and show respect after such a devastating kick in the groin. A very nice change of pace from so many other fan bases both in college and pro sports. Glad to know that some people still have balls out there.
Coming from a junior at Penn State, it's a tough loss to an amazing team. The fact that the Buckeye's never gave up just makes this win for them a little more special. Congratulations. Penn State fans have chanted #wewantbama but we will always want Ohio State.

Not really. But if you must go to them learning something, both can improve from the other. I think the NCAA needs a better playoff system, a bit bigger. Hell, the NFL has way more than 4; and we don't even need that much more. But the NFL can and should adopt the NCAA overtime system; but instead of the retardedly short 25 yard line, go for the 45 or 40; make it so an automatic FG isn't insured. Both teams have a chance, and it isn't a retarded sudden death system that essentially takes skill out of it when you have 2 hot offenses late in the game, and you give the winner of the game simply because they won a 50/50 coin toss. I mean, I thought they were playing football, not poker; and you award them the biggest part of the stakes where skill is not a factor?
I was at this game. I have never seen OSU play a ranked opponent in the shoe prior to this because I could never afford tickets. I will never see a game like this in person again. I have never heard Ohio Stadium that loud or have given so many high fives in my life to complete and total strangers. The performance by JT will go down as probably one of the best single performances by an Ohio State quarterback in the history of the program ...And I was just lucky enough to see it in person! O-H!
I was there… the best part of this game was the blocked punt by Denzel Ward. I still remember the whole stadium yelling”block that punt” and then he did it! Huge momentum swift. We were winning after that!
Who else is watching this to get fired up for Saturday? Hopefully we won't need to make a big comeback this time. Can't see it happening. PSU doesn't have McSorley or even a decent RB this year. Plus, Ohio State's defense has been crazy good all year.

Because of the high prices that ranked opponents draw for tickets I have never even seen Ohio State play a ranked opponent in Ohio Stadium. The two losses of a four points combined was the difference between 12-0 and 10-2. PSU lost a golden chance of winning the natty that year. They should’ve at least gone 11-1 and made it to the playoffs.
They're in the process of making a new college football game but without the licenses so the teams are named things like the Mississippi A&M Raptors and the Nevada Southern Hornets. It's called Gridiron Champions and unfortunately that's as close as it gets after all those years of NCAA football games.

Examples: McSorley clearly blocked in the back on Barkley's TD run and there was no conclusive video proof to reverse the contested play in the end zone. Maybe NCAA wanted to punish the wise guys.
