LCD is not known for wider viewing angles, that’s for OLED, so please stop obsessing about it and focus on contrast, blooming and shadow details.
We knew the B9 was going to win, but now, FOMO is saying it’s worth double the price of the QM8. That’s a pretty glowing endorsement.
Value is subjective. No way I'd pay twice as much for the Sony.
Rich - "Worth it!"
Poor - "Nah!"
@JLT3ch Seriously? You're shaming people who are frugal? FWIW I don't like spending big on depreciating assets. I grew up super poor but am retired in my 50s due to careful planning. I upgrade phones, laptops, TVs and electronics every 7-10 years - because tech is advancing so much. You want to spend big today? Go for it. I would argue electronics is the worst way to spend big.
@@R6ex Keep deluding yourself LOL. Just because one CAN spend big doesn't mean one SHOULD. Or maybe you're just filthy rich in which case, more power to you!
@@SupperconductorDon't get upset with people like this. They haven't experienced enough ups and downs, so may lack your empathy (and grace).
Save your sanity, man :)
Thanks fomo for the content . Just got my Bravia 9 85 inch delivered and mounted on wall yesterday. Lots of menus and things that have changed a bit from my 85 inch X95L . So far so good I’ll look out for future content on this tv .
Love my 75 inch qm8 2024. Off angle viewing is irrelevant for most people. He sounds likw a Sony fan boy. That Sony is not worth the price of two qm8s.
OH come on, didn't I suggest people buy the QM8 if viewing angle is not a big deal? But if it is a big deal then the QM8 is off the table. As far as being a Sony fanboy, I prefer the G4 and S95D to the Bravia 9 for myself and have said this many times over. HOWEVER, the Bravia 9 and the QM8 are great TVs for people who don't want OLED for whatever reason (cost, burn-in, ASBL, ABL, etc.). Pulling out the "fan boy" card is silly if you watch all my videos. No TV is perfect - EVER. But there is a perfect one for you. My reviews always identify who this TV is perfect for.
I'm so stuck. I don't know if I should go for the 75QM851G-$1849 Amazon or the Hisense 75U8N- $1499 Amazon. Both 2024 models - or- last year's Samsung QN90C-$1799 Amazon. The QN90C is available at the same price at Costco but + free 5-year warranty. 😵💫
Get the Qm8
One thing to point out - if you set those TVs both at 30 degree angle then you cannot point camera in the middle of them because this way you show less than 30 degrees on Sony vs more than 30 on tcl depending on camera distance could be 10 degrees difference easy
It looks like they did angle the QM8 on the end separately, and there's no point in changing the OLEDs because they don't change off axis.
So you convinced me to buy the Sony A90j 83” about 4 years ago. I’m thinking of upgrading to a bigger size now. 97” plus but for a good price of course. Right now the Hisense u8k 100” is 3k. Would I regret replacing my a90j for this Hisense? Is there another big tv you would recommend? Thank you 😎
How many Dimming zones does the 75"inch QM851G have? Do all models hit 5,000nits?
How does the qn95D stand against the bravia 9???
I'm using a test firmware (v999) on the 85" 2023 QM8 right now and man, it's GOOD. It's like they took everything they learned from the 2024 model and tried to apply it back. EOTF improved, blacks are slightly better than v295, midtones are brighter in DV. One thing you can say for TCL is that it may not be perfect at launch, but they at least try to get there eventually.
I have last years 85", is this an automatic update?
@@colclumper No, but it will be after testing. Until then, v295 is the latest firmware rolling out.
FOMO HELP! I got the 2024 QM8 65 for 1,400 but the 2023 85 inch is on sale for 1,400$!!! Is the 2024 THAT much better or should I go bigger but older?! I also have an r646 that i'm really happy with so... would i be happy with the quality of the 2023 Qm8?
Great Review!!!
TCL851G 2024 have a different name in europe/italy? because I tried to look for it but I couldn't find it
maybe is C series? for example C85?
Can you review the 75" Ads panel on the U8N
Isn't the Hisense U9N using an ADS pro panel?
The TCL 98QM851G and Sony 98X90L are both on sale for $5k right now, first time the Sony is at that price point. Which would you recommend between them?
@stopthefomo - The 98" TCL QM851G is $6k , I'm guessing it goes to $4k for BF (who knows maybe $3k). However, I can get a 98" Hisense U8K for $2k. How noticeable is the difference in PQ. What do you recommend? TIA
Fomo, please help, 98” qm851 vs 98” x90l. Same price at $5k right now. I watch mostly in a dark theater. Trying to compare benefit of brightness and dimming zones vs realistic color and skin tones.
Fomo, using Phils recommendations of 50 degree view angle, and sitting in centre, when does a tv get so big that this off angle starts affecting on angle performance.
Does the 85 inch qm8 suffer from this to the main in the middle seat when sitting so close that its horizontal 50 degree view angle?
Or does this problem start creeping in at 98 and above?
I think because it’s all relative 50° should be a safe maximum to avoid off angle viewing issues! We tested this at MWAVE with a 98 inch Sony X90L from 7 1/2 feet away and the far edges of the TV did not exhibit any loss of contrast or color de-saturation
How does the QN900D compare to the Bravia 9?
2:55 the QM8 has 16 bit processing and 12 bit physical control for its backlight (the LCD panel is 10 bit)
12 bit processing of the backlight can be improved to 32 bit next year - TCL has the resources. I hope they stop adding dimming zones and start working on the miniLED controls next. Luminance control to maximize shadow detail without lifting blacks and reducing specular highlihts is not easy but it can be done better than even the B9. I do believe TCL and do it given another 2 years.
@@stopthefomo would be great to see.
@@stopthefomoan interesting piece of news has landed "LG and Samsung reportedly pull back on microLED investment", i'm interested to know your thoughts about how this decision will affect the future of other tv technologies (led, oled, qdel)
Is the A95L still better than the Bravia 9 when it comes to image quality and colour.
Yes but it's using last year's panel because Sony hasn't given us a true flagship TV this year ...
Thanks
I’ve been waiting on this one!
what about the b7 vs qm8?
Each class has a great champion now, great time for all to enjoy a TV they like 👍
Hey Fomo, can we expect a test of the QN95D?
Snake oil salesman pitch opposite from Rtings verdict on off angle , and his opinion on smart tv app better than appletv4k is so off 😂
I was for sure going to get the new QM8 QD - However, I’m glad I reviewed further/ the 85 QM8 inch isn’t a QD - like the 65/75 panel. That sucks. So 85 to 85 I still feel the U8N is better and so I purchased that this week. I came from a 77 Sony A80J and while the U8N isn’t as good as that OLED for 2021, it’s very close!
so for the rest of 2024 what is the nest affordable large tv?
You can get a 98inch TCL for the price of the 85inch Bravia 9. It's def the 98inch TCL for price/performance.
At the same price for a single set in a bright living room would you take an 85 B9 or 98 QM8?
98inch all day for me. You're not going to have these two TVs side by side to see what's different.
You're going to have one TV in your house with one single white point, so what's really going to dominate The experience is the raw size of the 98.
Massive difference, much more immersive.
It depends on what you want. If you want the best image quality and if viewing angles differ a bit, the B9 is the winner. If you just want brightness impact, size and the ones viewing it are basically doing it from almost straight up front, then the bigger TCL could be better for you. So really it depends on your own preferences. Personally I'm someone who prefers quality, but I imagine there's no shortage of people who prefer size and brightness impact.
Do you think the Bravia 9 will ever be available in 98"?
YES
I love my QM8
A gdzie porównanie z Samsungiem QE85QN95D 85"?
I’m going oled to many issues,thanks I thought it was a panacea qm8 .
In the EU the tcl qm8 is called x955 and at 85 inch it cost 3500€ compared to the sony with 4500€ after cashback (was on sale for overall 4100€). Tcl seems to be very expensive here
I don’t see a link for the tcl tv anywhere
Because he isn't trying to sell it you. He's trying to sell the Bravia 9 with affiliate links included.. 😉
Good vibes FOMO, refreshin and information. A good presenter. Mind made up - Bravia 9 it is.
If you beed upscaling of content regularly then you need to update your e q uipment elsewhere. Save your money and buy qm8 and spend on bluray player and disks. Get your head in the game
Easy, just spend the same amount of Sony A95L money to get a bigger TCL QM8 so you need off angle viewing. Win-Win
in france, the price difference between the QM8 (S89B/855 here) and the bravia 9 for the 85" isn't double, it's more than 4 times less.... You can calibrate it and it's still 4 times cheaper the the Sony. It's unbeatable.
WOW, so I agree with you - it's not worth 4x more.
@stopthefomo now that you've had a chance to review both in depth, do you still stand by your answer of 98" QM8 over 85" B9 for the same price as a do it all TV for HDR, SDR, and PS5 gaming from 9-10ft away? That was the answer you gave me for a superchat before you had a chance to compare!
This is gonna be killer🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤
Dark theater room sitting 8ft away. 98" qm8 or B9 85"? Bluray/4k blurays mostly.
Neither . Too close 😮 . Don’t wanna be sighted .
I’m deciding between this exact scenario as well. @alexlurry7850 I sit just a tad further at 10 feet but my use case is exact otherwise.
for a dark room I would go Bravia 9 or OLED
@@444chroma but they say immersion over perfection is key
I would think the 83" G4 or C4 if you have a dark theatre room
FOMO I have a Brava 9 75 on order from best buy for the difference between the price from 65 to 75 couldn't pass up is there much difference between 65 bravia 9 and 75 Bravia 9 there are no reviews that i can find for the 75.
Such a shame Australia isn’t getting the 65in Bravia 9
Hey FOMO, if you can, please do a similar comparison with the Bravia 7 especially covering the viewing angles. Curious to see if the viewing angle is better or worse than the QM8 and how far behind is it to the Bravia 9.
I want the best screen, what is it?
It's the one you already have ❤
If i was purchasing a tv and had plenty of $, I would buy a 83 inch LG G4.
@thatsamazin- I watched it in person at BestBuy. It was an awesome picture. However, the 97-inch version isn't an MLA panel, and it's $20k USD 😂 83 inches is to small in my opinion.

yikes...this is the first time I have heard someone say a TV 2x the cost of another good TV is worth the price. People don't say that even for OLEDS.
The influencers love Sony and will do anything to help them stay in the TV business.
The handpicks a few areas where they're different instead of recognizing that most of the time they look nearly the same.
If you don't have another TV in the room to compare it to you're not going to really notice most "issues" anyway.
@@paulcox2447 normally I d agree with you. But FOMO is usually very positive about brands like TCL. He was one of the biggest advocates of the 2023 qm8. That's why this surprised me.
@@blackcaesar8387 to be fair you aren't wrong there, he has been a big fan of the qm8 for the last couple years
I still can't see fomo saying that the Sony is not worth the extra price.. not on their flagship.
It'd cause too much controversy we've seen fomo at Sony expo's and talking to Rob. There is a relationship there that he doesn't have with TCL. That's undeniable.
You're not going to catch any of the major influencers ever saying that Sony's not worth the price 🤷♂️.
Even for the past several years when they've been releasing LCDs with much cheaper hardware than this new Bravia series.
The biggest problem with TCL will be fw support and reliability, both of which are very suspect.
Thanks for this good video. A nice comparison would be Hisense UX vs Bravia 9. I think that's the true rival of Bravia 9 and is able to beat it.
In the USA, Hisense UX for 2024 only comes in 98" and 110" but the U9N does come in 75" and 85" and I hope to get it in for review this fall.
Fomo put the bravia 9 up against Samsung 2024 8k see if Samsungs best pro can can beat sony .And which lcd between the 2 has the best contrast and. brightness
I have to disagree with FOMO so bad this time. No, the Bravia 9 is not worth 2 TCLs QM851 the TCL has lower input lag (better latency) than the Bravia 9 for gaming. If the TV gon to cost more than Doble, it's not even Doble, it's more than Doble it should be better in gaming too but it isn't and personally I don't think off viewing angles is a big deal. I don't remember when was the last time I watched tv off angle.. IMO price difference is not justified.
Double buddy
I kinda agree with you. Off angle viewing isn’t a considerable issue for a 85” TV, 15-20ft from a 75” sofa. But a TV dbl the price of a competitor should have considerable distance or outright blow it away spec wise in EVERY category.
@@InfamousHp 👍
It all depends on your use case. I have zero interest in gaming of any sort, but I do have folks over to watch sporting events and everyone is spread out all over the room, so off-angle is an issue, at least sometimes. The real issue for me, however, is video processing and picture quality. I am not sure it is worth twice the money, but it definitely has value, at least for me.
If one is a gamer that puts input lag metrics above all else then sure get the TCL if it's lower, some have gaming #2 or #3 on their priority list, +/- 5% in latency is worth the processing, accuracy and picture quality for some others
I love my Bravia 9 best tv since my zd9 …85 inch god ❤️👍👍👍👍
if you are only a gamer the bravia 9 wasn’t made to fit only that need, if you are worried about price it wasn’t made to fit that either. it’s simply for those looking for the best overall performance with the least amount of compromise, for the tv and movie watching in day time or night time and hitting a new benchmark that no other tv has been able to hit yet.
That off angle was really really bad. Yikes. Good for a 2 seater sofa directly in front of the TV and that's about it.
Is the 115" going to be the same? Kinda hard not to be off angle from some of a screen that size. I can't imagine paying 20K for something that bad.
I believe Hisense are indeed doing some ADS pro?
I didn't realise the QM8 was that bad. Massive flop.
Well TCL is notoriously known for bad off angle viewing, however that didn’t stop ppl’s recommendation for the last yrs QM8.
My concern would be that it breaks in some capacity, and your tv is useless.
I picked up Hisense U8N 85 inch on sale for $2k and have been super happy with it. 144hz gaming, extra HDMI 2.1 port, Freesync Pro, all advantages over B9. The contrast and brightness are ridiculous. Shadow detail is very good. Has some small bugs and poor side viewing angles but I watch it from the center. Upscaling from 720p is a bit rough but if you feed it quality 1080p and 4k signals, the picture is amazing. Better than my last flagship Samsung mini led (QN90A).
I actually was interested in B9 but it just isn't worth it for me at more than double the price for 10% better performance.
In a previous video where the the Sony the TCL and the Hisense were all on display FOMO himself admitted the Hisense beat the TCL in many aspects. However he constantly pushes the TCL as the only competition to the Sony in the mini LED space. It's as if he is deliberately ignoring the Hisense and writing it off. He keeps praising the TCL to high heaven about extreme brightness as if that was the holy grail of picture quality. In a previous video he said the Hisense was closer to reference when it comes to skin tone, beating the tcl. But since then zip. The hisense may not be as bright as the TCL but I think it has more saturation and pop in the colors. I am confused by his takes that go back and forth sometimes.
You don't bite that feeds you😉 He is an influencer so take everything with a grain of salt.
@@EnterBitcoin Yeah, I was wondering about that myself... Anyway, my guess is TCL sponsors some of his content but I think Hisense and TCL are neck and neck features wise so pick whichever one of their flagships is cheaper. I picked Hisense because the price was cheaper than QM8 and I liked that Hisense puts mini-LEDs in multiple lines of their U series vs TCL only putting them in their flagship. I also owned several budget TCL and Hisense TVs for my kitchen and had tons of quality issues with TCL and no issues with Hisense.
Agreed, the price difference is substantial. That being said, Sony’s picture is crazy. Gaming advantages are minimal especially input lag. Sony has so much clarity in gaming, it might as well be native 4k so the input lag difference is of no benefit. The U8N is a stunning tv for the money.
return ASAP or get a warranty you will run intyo problems. i have a u8h and the issues i'm having now are absolutely ridiculous.
I hope movies are released with milliseconds of bright bits to make paying double for bravia9 all worth it. Keep your eyes peeled guys.
Shoot in brightness and quality on newer movies they are close.. You need to watch old SDR content for the Sony to have a clear advantage. Totally worth double the price. With the TCL you need 2 TV's apparently. What a freaking joke. Come on FOMO, no one with a brain believes that. The SDR can't be that bad on the TCL, just a way to attempt to justify literally paying double..
The truth is, both TVs are amazing, and LEDs came a long way. We're just spoiled.
Nice, review, but 55 inch is my max size, period.
Sony always the accurate color you get in both sdr and HDR out the box is unmatched
Mate, basic tv calibration takes about 15 minutes
Sony really have no flagship TV at all this year....
TCL X11H FLAGSHIP 2024 killer of Bravia 9 and OledTV in terms of the sum of all the advantages, especially in price, is already on its way to my home in Belarus from China and will arrive in 3 days
What's the point of comparing the 2023 flagship TCL 951 if the 2024 flagship 952 for America is about to flood into the market, author lol

You don’t say which picture mode you’re using when comparing! are you using vivid modes😯
It’s not worth twice the price 😅
If you’re down to these two tvs and cost isn’t an issue it’s not even a question that the Sony is better. As for now. I’m on the G4 wagon
Dude, what's with the Gloves?
Great video Fomo but where are the samsung mini leds??
They are hurting because hamstrung this year by their refusal to implement the best LCD technology from BOE (ADS Pro) due to patent battles. The QN90/95D has fallen behind last year's QN90C/95C as a result.
Are we at 100" of home theater quality yet? Under $10k
I agree, go big or go home.
98inch tcl for the price of the 85inch B9. I'd say so.

This is the test we have been waiting for, the one you can afford vs
the one your heart desires.
Having just watched Rtings review of the Sony Bravia 9 it has some weak spots
that at it's price level may be a deal killer, but it does perform well where it counts.
Can the QM8 come close, i hope so.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂@JLT3ch
I have two issues with TCL. First, Sony just has better processing. Specifically Sony's upscaling performance is significantly better. This is what keeps me on Sony for my primary Televisions.
The second issue I have with TCL is that every GoogleTV TCL TV I've dealt with has OS issues. Perhaps they've fixed that for this year, but last year's TCL TVs had boot loop, app loop, and crashing issues. I own a TCL Q5. It works well for its purpose (1080p gaming, kids' game room TV). I have to use an external streaming box for it though. To be fair, I think everyone should be using an external streamer, but I was sad to see that I had so many issues with the built in GoogleTV OS.
For those of you who say that the more expensive models (2023 Q6, Q7, and QM8) have better OS support, perhaps they do. However I ran into a ton of issues when I set them up for demo at the Best Buy I worked at. Sony's GoogleTV implementation is better than both TCL and Hisense.
Both aren't reasons to pick a 85 inch bravia 9 over a 98 inch QM851G.. Sony upscaling is for sure not significantly better for upscaling low bitrate content. People here acting like you can put a crappy video source on Sony tv's and they magically make them look 100% different with all the picture flaws cleaned up are talking straight out of their ass
@@michaelangst6078 I’m not talking about low bit rate streams specifically (though they do look better on my Sony TVs). I’m talking about lower resolution content. When I stream video that has not been remastered to 1080p or 4K it looks better on my Sony TVs. It is noticeable.
@@randallsmith2521 All I know is the bad quality content I watch on my 43 inch tv looks worse when blown up playing it on my 85 inch Sony. People who are saying Sony upscaling works miracles are just talking out of their ass. I stand by what I say from my experience

@@mrlahey88 Yes.... and it's more than 70% of the issues. As I said in my comment, I think we should all be using external streaming devices anyway.
I'll get the best Sony 55". It will offer the most natural pq for movie content in HDR and SDR. If Sony had a Bravia 9 at that size I'd probably get it. Price isn't a factor. I've paid the Sony tax before and I've never been disappointed.
If price isn't a factor I'm curious why you want such a small TV?
@@paulc5389 My living room is small. My present TV is 49" and I think 55" is a big as I can go.
@paulc5389 The size make Price not a factor..
I don't go beyond 65-inch nor $3,000 and 5-year warranty. Then I won't buy a TV for the 5-years. Then I get a BIG 5-year Upgrade.
I remember FOMO comparing the SONY X90L against other tvs at that time the Bravia X90L had some blooming compared to the rivals but FOMO said that the blooming was bereable and he'd take the SONY X90L over the other tvs (Hisense U8K TCL QM8 2003) now that the TCL has slight better especular highlights than the Bravia 9 but a bit of more blooming he preffer the Sony 🤔 the Sony is showing less blooming but is sacrificing especular highlights so... Also this is in a torture test we're not really watching Pitch Black backgrounds with lots of starts most of the time anyways. And knowing that the TCL QM8 rivals the LG G4 in motion (LG G4 surpassed Sony this year in Motion) I'll take the 65" TCL without a doubt. Especially because it also has better latency for gaming and it cost a lot alot less than the Sony... I rather get the Sony X90L.
nope completely wrong!!! bravia 9 had HDR highlights and with all other picture elements matching the reference monitor closest ..... where as tcl was was displaying that same hdr highlight with raised shadow detail, black levels , more haloing and colour desaturation......which was'nt the case with bravia 9...........and Idk from where did you read that LG surpassed sony in motion processing......As far as i can remember from bravia 9 review from FOMO......sony and samsung reign supreme to LG in motion comparison.....
Too much talk about viewing angle. Anybody who spends a premium price on a tv is going to want to sit dead center to get the best picture, including buying the Bravia 9.... If someone never wants the picture on the screen to look different as they move around the room, they should only be buying a QD-OLED
Most people have friends and family. They can’t all sit in a narrow sweet spot. It is a real issue for some.
@@spenceralridge4958 Those people should only be buying OLED's than if they have people watching from the sides like I said.. Every LCD is going to have Image degradation when not viewing from the sweet spot

Without having both sets side by side there's nothing that by itself is going to wow me that much more unless I go bigger.
the bravia 9 as terrible off-angle viewing with lots of bloomy....
FOMO is basically saying never go off angle. alright I gotchu
45 degrees is pretty high. And that said, he nitpicks quite a bit and in-person it doesn't look nearly as bad as it does on video. The Bravia 9 has the best viewing angle of LED this year (and perhaps ever for LED) so going a bit off angle isn't an issue. The TCL does seem to have a pretty major issue with it, but TCL is a beast for more casual consumers that mainly focuses on brightness and drops the ball on many things. Meanwhile the B9 is superb in every way. Brightness doesn't match the TCL, but it's still one of the brightest LEDs ever consistently delivers a far better image.
If you're gaming it should be mentioned that the QM8 is supposed to have 1440p240hz capabilities, and 4K120hz with BFI, which is actually a major selling point for me because the outstanding power of the QM8 backlight means this would be the first TV to maintain good HDR brightness while running 120hz BFI.
true, I can also game in Movie mode on the TCL as the input lag in 4k@120 is still bearable, while the Sony outside game mode (inferior PQ) is useless for HTPC as even mouse movement lags a lot
Real question is if the 2024 QM8 is worth more than double the 2023 QM8 $2999 vs $1399 for the 85"
In that scenario you're almost certainly better off buying the old discounted model and then wait a few years for TCL to perfect their dimming control, or it's possible OLED will get a lot brighter.
BFI on Bravia 9 creates a blurry, duplicate image. It’s gonna be a no from me dawg.
It doesn’t tho
According to rtings review/testing it does. Would be happy to see evidence to the contrary other than “I have one and it doesn’t tho”. Otherwise it’s a great tv, but I want BFI to work.
@@jimpayne9488 I told you BFI works great you can check the forums from other owners other than simply making excuses on why not to get it.
If this difference is only twice the price,
g4,s95 is worth ten times as much as bravia9.
I'm not arguing with that but thank heavens it's only a few hundred more eh?
You should really discuss and display your settings that you're using on each panel at the beginning of every video like this. It's really hard to trust what I'm seeing without physically seeing the settings being used.
Agreed, I sometimes forget, although I do normally do it more often than not - my apologies, NEXT TIME!
If you can afford it, its worth it.

Why is Bravia 9, Sony's highest-end flagship compared to TCL's mainstream upper-midrange TV? Im pretty sure TCL has a higher tear TV which is closer in price to the sony. Think its called X955 or sth like that.
That TV isn't available in the US.
Because most of his audience doesn't't live in China
@@paulcox2447 That sucks. What about Hisense UX line?
Fomo's tearful struggle to save Sony, who's ruined this year.🤣🤣🤣 lol
I love competition - it would be a terrible world if it was ONLY Hisense, TCL and Vizio selling TVs wouldn't it? The way things are going, this may indeed be the case in 5 years.
I think the real question will be TCL QM8 85’ vs a LG G4 77’
2024 98QM7 Is the BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEST
Got the 65" B9... had issues with it. Sony didn't want to replace or repair it. So send it back for full refund. Got a 65" G4 coming this Saturday. I might look again later this year at the Bravia 9 85 to replace another TV... for now, I am not happy with Sony and their warranty.
Not sure where you are but should've went to the retailer before going to Sony
@@chibbyylol Retailer isn't all that great either, Best Buy is the option I have in town. I got the G4 Saturday from BB. The next day, LG giving out July 4th coupon, and BB won't price match, boom.... sending it back and order another G4 directly from LG.
I might be in the minority but I think the better comp is Bravia 8/9 vs QM8.
Is it weird that im watching this on my B9?? Lol
same. I can see much better lol
😂
cheapest bravia 9 in the uk is £4499. its a great tv if you get them free like you. lol. a bit of good news the bravia 7 has dropped in price.
UK do not have great prices! In the USA price of B9 is cheaper than G4/S95D at 75" and 85" while slightly cheaper at 65". For UK audience I would not consider spending so much for the B9 and would definitely choose less expensive alternatives.
Why are you doing comparison between TCL panel with other Oled panels man?!We all know that oled technology is far superior.
Too bad The Bravia 9 doesn't come in a 98 or 100 inch size. 85 inches is just too small once you get use to 100.
I believe it, it's crazy how all TV shrink when you let them sit in the house for a few days
Sony would sell it for at least 15K. I don't know how you can justify that price just for a 98 inch TV. I might as well wait for TCL to release a 130 inch tv in the next 2 to 3 years for 20K if I am willing to pay 15K.....
Sorry to tell everyone nobody eve so big wooll and a small home to buy larger expensive TV 🤓😕
The Bravia 9 cost MORE than DOBLE the TCLQM851 so basically I can get 2 TCLs plus 100 Tacos 🌮. Price is not justified the QM8 has even better input latency so if you like to play shooting games online the lower the latency the better for you to get the W. I don't know about you but I like to have fun but I like to win and every millisecond counts when aiming for the win. The Bravia should be better in every aspect but it is not. And even if it was the price difference is not justified I think it's just the brand Name lol
It's the point of do you want the best or do you want close enough? Some people keep their TVs for 5+ years, so buying the best now, will stop you from wanting to upgrade sooner. If you don't care about the differences or off angle viewing, then definitely save money and buy the TCL.
The Bravos looks worlds better than the tcl. Sorry but tcl looks like a cheap TV not like a high end tv
here in Australia it costs almost 3x the equivalent TCL
the TCL is still like 2/3 of the Bravia 7's price!!! and checking the B7 vs the TCL in store (after applying basic calibration), the TCL was the clear winner. Comparing it with the B9 is like comparing a Corolla with an M3.
@@buschtyy the "Bravos" looks way better... off angle, on angle and calibrate they are close. Also, the "Bravos" has a delicate coating that improves its viewing angle, such coating is easily wiped out with any damped cloth, in other words, if you ever try to clean fingerprints from it you will ruin the coating as many complain on the internet
@@bauboni Fixing the color would be easy for anyone who has enough of an eye about color to be upset in the first place. I never get too hung up on color accuracy.
WOW👑 SONY GOD FOREVER 🥇✌️👑
