The big question I have is, can I use the neckband speaker along with the existing Sony speakers on the TV? So, my wife can listen to it quietly, but I can crank it up louder on my shoulders? Or does the connection turn off the Sony TV speakers? And if it does keep the Sony TV speakers on, will the sound be sinked with the neckband speaker? In otherwards all the speakers both on the TV and the neckband work together?
What happened to the discussion on screen size? He had just gotten his introductory example explained, and then suddenly we're talking about TVs for the bedroom. What's that got to do with screen size? Did the entire screen size discussion get cut so we could waste more time hearing about some hokey cheeseburger contest? I spent 15 minutes skipping around trying to find the 'beef' in this conversation, and if there was any to be found, it must have been in the burger contest, because I skipped those sections altogether. If I were Sony, I'd want my sponsorship money back. This was the first time I came across the channel, and I have to say, I won't be sorry if it's my last.
If you offered me a Bravia 9 to replace my S92C (with the stipulation that I couldn't sell it) I'd probably laugh. There isn't an OLED from the past few years that I wouldn't take over it every single time. Different strokes for different folks I guess, but to my eyes OLEDs are night and day better.
Big difference in screen finish. A80L is slightly matte. XR80 (Bravia 8) is full gloss and also gets a little brighter. It also has a better processing chip. Small differences but they make a difference.
That hot take on OLED going down did not last long😂 The 2024 shootout best of tv contest yesterday ranked the A95L first and the Samsung S95D very close second. But all judges said the same on mini-led its not even close to OLED. LCD cant fix blooming and bad viewing angels. But OLED is fixing higher brightness with mla and QD-OLED. So the gap of OLED being better is only increasing.
Good stuff. I am an avid TV enthusiast. I spent 2 hours comparing all TVs....INCLUDING THE BRAVIA 9 at BB. The Bravia 9 is amazing for sure and is unbeatable for Brightness, Contrast, Sharpness, and motion processing for sure.........BUT......the image looks flat compared to any OLED because OLED has that 3D pop. You really don't notice that 3D pop until you compare an LED besides an OLED. I love Sony, and they have the most accurate colors of any TV......BUT OLED TVs just sucks you into the picture.....that's why people love them. I think any person who loves LED TVs will be blown away by the BRAVIA 9.......BUT, IMHO....people will always choose OLEDs for high end TV purchases. For full disclosure.....I've always purchased Sony TVs since the Sony tube TVs.....always the best colors and quality and sound......but I feel in the past 7 years, Sony has gotten lazy by not providing the the newest technologies and also not allowing maximum picture optimization tools in their menus like LG has done in their latest G4 release. This trend has pushed me away from Sony TVs. I want Sony to debut a TV for me that checks ALL the boxes.....and that includes pushing gaming support technologies in their TVs too. Thanks.
Thank you @thebucsanthem for that educated perspective and we will forward this up to our friends at Sony. There are more calibration tools available for pro technicians but maybe they can unlock some of these features for end users like you to play around more with the settings to dial in to your liking? We appreciate you watching our Sony episode and look forward to more feedback and engagement in the future!
I disagree when someone says that a particular TV is the "best" or the "king of TVs." There isn't a single best TV for everyone; it's all about your personal viewing environment and experience preferences. For example, when someone claims that the Sony Bravia 9 is the best TV of the year, that's based on their own experience. The Bravia 9 is a mini LED TV known for its high brightness, which is great for rooms with a lot of natural light. But if you're watching in a dark room, you don't need a high brightness TV. In such cases, a mini LED TV might not be the best choice. In a dark room, an OLED TV is often a better option. OLED TVs provide perfect black levels and infinite contrast, which makes the viewing experience much more immersive in low-light environments. The self-emissive pixels in OLEDs can turn off completely, resulting in true blacks and stunning picture quality that is unmatched in dark settings. So, when someone asks, "What is the best TV?" the answer really depends on your specific viewing conditions and preferences. There is no one-size-fits-all answer.

I watched this for a comparison of sony tvs, not burgers But seeing they did pick culavers, which i had in fla is hands down the best, I decided to finish the video. Not much info excpet they like the 9 I just got the 7 n not reallying feeling it coming from samsung so i was thinking of the 8, but this didnt help.
no the motion clarity on all miniLED is trash OLED G4 or A95L all day As soon the camera moves miniLED with very slow pixel response time you only seeing 20% of picture quality OLED all time almost instantaneous.
I have problems trusting these guy's white castle is the worst tasting burger in the business you just got a bad wendy burger. I like Bravia 9 mini led but a Oled model will win the King of tv this year in 2024 but i just might buy a Bravia 9 this year 65 in is 2,999 hard to passed up.
You had to grow up with a White Castle !!!, if you had, you wouldn’t say it’s the worst tasting burger !!!, it’s just a fact, you had to grow up eating them !!!
@@RKoen2006 like I said !!!, you had to grow up on them, I did !!!!, it’s an acquired taste, and growing up in the western suburbs in Illinois, almost everyone I knew, enjoyed them. @dougnykel7693 That's ok for your family if I was in vegas again I would stop there again just because I don't have one in ca I do think the ones they sell in Walmart is a good value and it's OK for a fast snack. I loved McDonald's but they are also one of the worst bugers to eat but I am addicted to them I grow up with McDonald's.

OLED is not going down.
You wanna bet? 😉
@@Architechnewhat’s the time frame 10-15 years? Then maybe.
Anyone doing any type of gaming, knows OLED isn’t going anywhere anytime soon
If your running the tv 📺 15 to 20 hours each day,,, Top Quality, OLED or QLED what would last longer ?
I think going outside is a better option

@bungalowtomcat1 I think he means get out of the house instead of watching so much tv, (but maybe yours is for a business lobby not home use).
