- Hey everyone welcome back to Ignition On The Left! In this video we're back at COTA in the GT4 RS. This session was recorded right after an incident on track. This video will highlight how I like to approach warm up session during the start of a track day.
Warming up your car during the initial sessions on the track is crucial for several reasons. First and foremost, it allows the engine, transmission, brakes, tires, and other critical components to reach their optimal operating temperatures gradually. This process helps reduce wear and tear on the engine and other mechanical parts, enhancing their longevity and performance.
Additionally, warming up the tires is essential for maximizing grip and traction on the track. Cold tires have reduced flexibility and grip levels, which can compromise handling and increase the likelihood of losing control, especially during high-speed maneuvers.
In summary, warming up the car before pushing it to its limits on the track is essential for optimizing performance, ensuring reliability, and enhancing safety for both the driver and the vehicle.

1. Should we start on a simulator first? or better to start with the car and improve with simulator (I think you touched about this before)
2. What's the budget for it, and maybe a better question would be when you should do it, because I fell for me right now, even if I really want to do it right now, it's a season of me going all in with work, gather some more wealth and enjoy it in a couple years maybe, but at the same time I feel like the joyI will have doing it in a couple of months would be so big.
3. How to learn the limits, and the how to push it? and maybe how to not have the fear of crashing and total the car
4. I know you talked about this in the past, you were chasing the times, having the best time, do you think that's bad? because for me, I'm very competitive person, and that drives me, but I don't want that to be the only purpose, I love to drive and feel the car moving and pushing the limits.
