Ace doesnt rehearse at all, hes said so. His own band says he doesnt rehearse with them either so every ace show is just show up unrehesrsed and play. Look at getaway for example, ace was lost and his rhythm player played aces solo...
When you're doing this for a living, you should be able to jump on the stage and play. This goes for guitarists and vocalists. Even so, the performance may not be perfect, but it shouldn't be a shit show if you're a professional.

You have to understand Ace he’s not going to be EVH in his playing, 2 he’s 72 years old. Some of the kookiest unique players are the best, Mike Ness, Joe Walsh, Joe Perry, and remember how we all would say how sloppy Jimmy Page was at times. Ace is in a class by himself.

@@theheffer Think sent to wrong person, sloppy is not the word he is a complete shambles, his voice was never good in the first place but now it is a monotonous drone. Oh and his guitar playing has not improved over the years either,, a cat wailing comes to mind 😖🙄😁
His vocals are a couple of seconds behind their spot. Garage band level.
He isn't the best singer but his voice is always recognizable.
If I wanted perfection, I'd listen to Opera (and I do). This has all the feels. That's what's important in rock and roll.
Yoko has a recognizable voice too.
Jimmy Page was also pretty sloppy live, but we still dig em.
