Tiny Tim was one of my earlier memories. Bought the 45 of Tiptoe Through the Tulips when I was a kid. But I'm only now seeing these interviews and hearing him talk. It gives you a much a deeper insight into his personality. Fascinating

I saw this on TV back when it originally aired, and have always remembered it fondly. It seemed then, as it seems to me now, that a lot of what they said to each other was unscripted. Anyway, the result is wonderful.

When Tim begins to sing, first astonishment, then admiration and then a trace of livid envy appear on Crosby's face. What appears astonishing is the mixture of these three sentiments, and the total incomprehension of the public, obtuse and respectable, of this small, grotesque drama between two artists at the highest levels.

These days, Tiny Tim would've been recognised as an artistic savant, it's widely recognised that he could recognise each reference number from each record.
Such a shame that in England, he was perceived as taking the piss out of British culture, but even as a British person I don't think he was capable of such a thing.
Genuinely talented man who didn't , in life, get the recognition he deserved.
    Top man. RIP from England

I was no where near this talented but I study American pop culture for the 70's, 80's, and 90's as a Japanese student. Among my peers, I was the encyclopedic knowledge of pop culture. I was obsessed with it when I was a teen. I used to smuggle TV guides and magazines from American base where it was stationed near where I lived in Misawa. It was practically my bible lol.

I thank RUclips for giving me such an appreciation for Mr Tiny Tim. He was such a gentleman. So kind and respectful. I have to admit that as a boy in the ‘60’s I was kinda creeped out by him. But now I love this guy.

Stupid people from that time who made fun of the great Tiny Tim, I admire how he could change his voice quickly, he would have existed in the year 2021, He was always very respectful and responsible in his work until the last day of his life
