@@sinfulldoubt Yes, I am designing aircraft for MSFS. And I fly only in VR. However it is still a long way to go for the S58. Just started with the plans and the rough modelling. Will first finish the Mil Mi-2. You can have a look on my channel if you like: ruclips.net/user/BeeKayDadaphilvideos
Safety wire! Lots and lots of safety wire. Most important connection have a little hole in the end of a bolt and there’s a specific type of nut that goes with it that when tightened properly the hole lines up with a crown type indentation on the nut and locks it in place with a piece of stainless wire twisted up with a special pair of pliers.
PLEASE make camera movements MUCH slower ! Whipping it around as you are doing makes for VERY uncomfortable viewing. Slow and steady panning is how to do it best. What should have been an enjoyable ride in a chopper was spoilt by poor camera work - sorry. Thank you 🙂 !
Ya do realize this is a helmet mounted camera so it follows his head movements? Nothing you can do about that, this kind of video is from the pilots point of view, not something purposely filmed with a concept for how it's going to be watched later.
Wow....thanks for the ride....love the 58
Awesome video, and a whole nest of these beauties there.
it's so loud! and i dont know why it feels so relaxing to me riding with that kind of chopper...
That’s amazing. The privilege to fly an S58/ UH34D 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for sharing. I love the S58.
No problem! Got plenty of footage from 3 seasons of flying it. Need to get to it and share some
@@sinfulldoubt Oh yes please. Take your time. My next project helicopter in MSFS will be a S58 / H34. Thanks.
@@BeeKayDadaphil oh do you design aircraft on there? Would love to see that, especially in VR

@@BeeKayDadaphil awesome will do. Well let me know if you might need any help with the 58 module. Maybe I can help provide info or whatever
Lovely old birds. 👍
Love it
I would give anything to be in your shoes for that one man 👍
Riptide!
Very cool.... do you still fly with them?
Where in the world is that
Where is this airport ?
Love it!!
Looked like you were converting to S-58 or was it just a test flight?
That was my first ever flight in the 58 at my first job after flight school.
I keep wondering why those vibrations don't shake everything loose every flight.

@@ibbylancaster8981 Many things to check carefully after maintenance.
What's it like flying S58?
@@sinfulldoubt where can one get a type rating?
This must be the old helicopter airport.
So glad you are wearing a nomex flight suit....that will save you in the unlikely event the magnesium catches on fire....🙏🫵🤏
Oh yeah it was pretty useless
Down Town Brewster!
Good times there
