Screen Printing Tee Shirts: Long Sleeve Print Tips
This tutorial screen printing video is about screen printing long sleeve tee shirts. In this educational video we take a look at what it takes to print text up and down either left or right sleeves. It's important to consider a few factors such as that when screenprinting long sleeve T shirts. Jonathan will show you a job he printed that had text down both long sleeves. The text reads right rather than being vertical so you have to consider how you print each sleeve so that it does indeed read right. It's the zombie effect as both arms are spread straight out forward of the walking dead. We'll each sleeve would have the text read from left to right. It's a fun video in which you get to see the results of an actual print job while seeing the set up as well. Silkscreen printing long sleeves can be trick but with a little thought you can do it. Thanks for the warning I'm going to start printing shirts for a metal band called Lidless Eye and most of their shirts are printed long sleeves Ill take ur advise about the pallet and learn my way. Trial and error lol.

Thanks have looked for 4 hrs for this info so THANKS!,one question can u tell me exactly how I would lay on reg press with no arm press to put this on ,no seam on hoodie sleeve so not sure where to place it.TY
You're very welcome. Glad I can help out. This would be difficult to do without a sleeve pallet like the one in this video. Otherwise you have to lay it out flat on top of a normal pallet and you'll only get one chance to print it. did you record the beginning guitar solo?
I don’t do that type of printing for commercial purposes. But for a camo design the easiest way to do it is to print the fabric before the shirt is assembled. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

Hi my name is Yasmin. I was wondering if you have ever printed over a whole entire shirt. For example, if I was to get a black shirt and want to make the whole shirt "camo" in whichever color, say grey and white camo print. How would that work? Would you be willing to do a video tutorial?
No problem. Since the cost of the garment may vary I can tell you the price I would charge for this. For that same work today maybe $16 or so depending on the garment selected. ☠

LOL, no actually that is the price for the long sleeve tee and the 1 color printing on about 48 pieces or so. Consider the cost of the garment and add your print labor to that price. Thanks much for watching and dropping me a note. ☠

make a pallet - the material is certainly cheap enough. Make various ones for youth and layered shorts and even pockets.

I screen printed on a black shirt and used red but it was like faded , do I use white first then red?

Nani Priest If you're using plastisol inks you want to look for inks labeled "HO" for high opacity. Especially the white. I recommend this white for a variety of black garments: catspitscreenprintsupply.com/triangle-phoenix-1701-sta-true-white-plastisol-ink-gallon/
Why?
In your vid you said "this is a $15 shirt" when talking about all the screen printing/locations that need to be applied. I am assuming you mean $15 for printing only? lol I hope so or a $15 long sleeve with all that printing - you would put me out of business.
