Don’t worry about the bozos who complain about what you pay your help. They don’t know about overhead, they don’t know about risk, and the don’t even consider the hours you put in for jobs that you don’t even get. $50 an hour for unskilled labour to remove junk (including drive time) is good money.
Jeremiah is quite the character. He's a hard worker. I like hearing the prices, it's part of understanding how the business works. Totally agree with you about the dumb comments. You have all the tools and truck to pay off, all the hidden fees, it's not just about your time. This job was awesome to watch, that is the perfect job indeed.

What a nice lady ❤️ and what a nice thing to do fantastic video and no matter what you put out there people are going to have something to say you just carry on doing you and god bless you and your family 😊
Man it’s crazy cause my helper for almost a year just quit on me and I’ve been stressing out, I think the biggest challenge in junk removal is finding a reliable helper who is okay getting paid a few hundred a week cause our expenses as a business owner can be crazy
Yessir that's the biggest reason why I'm solo. I can't guarantee anyone to be able to feed their family at the moment. So I just hire help when I can afford it :)
Exactly 👍 minimum wage is different everywhere!! If you’re in the country it’s like 7-9$ a hour like you said ! But in the city more populated areas its closer to $15 a hour
People forget that you need profits to invest in your business. The locations, equipment and energy expenses add up. If I get paid 300 to load and haul off junk and it took 1/2 hour to do the job the customer never sees the sorting and dumping time or the energy involved. If you agree to a price second guessing is not valid.
One thing you should do is when you're walking with a customer, have some color TAPE and mark every piece they say this way well. Make sure you are only taken what is marked.
I've been watching you for awhile now quit reading comments that make you made cause those guys are the one that sit on couch all day and complain about stuff so do your job your good at and the pay you give is more then enough and they get free stuff to sell hea making more then you after selling
Great comment, and yes, that's exactly right. Sometimes my helpers make more than me at the end of the day 😂 That's part of the reason why I work solo most of the time
Keep doing you bro. Individuals that have never ran a business don’t understand expenses and investments. One thing I like about J is he’s a hustler and he respects you for being a hustler and the grind process. Another thing is people don’t understand taxes, so when you pay someone 50 an hour and they take that home per hour they are making good money. Someone in the comments tell me how many people you know that take 50 bucks an hour home after expenses… I’ll wait ⏰ Keep up the grind and making money bro! 🫡
Great comment my friend! I appreciate the support big time 🫡... sometimes my helpers make more than me at the end of the day, and I question myself why I'm even doing this 😂😂 but employees won't ever believe that
The guys who look at numbers like you said are probably those who are unlicensed doing cheap jobs. No one that pays equipment costs, fuel, Insurance, taxes, dump fees, material costs, payroll, .....and so on thinks like that. I like you firing back at those people, you're too nice a guy to deal with it.
I appreciate you brotha! Thanks for the great comment 🫡 .. People don't understand how hard it is to run a successful business. They just want to know how much they can make per hour or day 😂
I'm surprised u don't load mattresses & boxsprings last laying them on top of everything then strap them down. Saves a lot of space and works like a tarp holding everything down inside
@djeldorado1 I believe you that they aren't going anywhere. What I was trying to say is that it's much easier to slide the mattress in the trailer than throwing it on top of the trailer
@JackofHaulTrades 💯👍🏾👍🏾 keep up the good content I like watching you vids & people in our region in the same industry. I also just go a cam & different mounts I'm gonna start shooting some content myself

i wish i could get mine started i have no credit or a truck and cant get anybody to loan me any money it sucks the credit is the biggest thing out there
I would not recommend starting this business with credit since it's takes a while to build up a clientele. I bought my first truck and trailer with my savings. Try to save up around 20k or something around there before starting a business since in the beginning, you most likely won't be making enough money to pay the lenders back

It better not be a five dollar Starbucks coffee. Also, your baby won't even know you're there for the first 2 or 3 months so don't worry about that. Good job on your credit card debt! 28 percent intrest every month could break a guy. Take care and hug your wife!
You're absolutely right man. Thanks for the great comment! And yes, that was $5 Starbucks coffee from when I took the wife out to little date after running some errands. Yes it's over priced but it's still a very cheap date in today's world 😂😂
