Man, I miss the Mid-West. Only lived there for four years of my life. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. But my soul is in the Mid-West. Love watching the houses and scenery in your videos.
You do just fine, Paul, rain or shine!!! I like to think that God has a sense of humor because he built it into us. Have a good weekend and tell Olivia I like her new sweater.🐕
I am the same exact way with finances. I can only save if I have a goal or my mind made up for what I want. I saved all my 1's and 5's to help get my truck. Now I'm saving to pay it off. Halfway there. Have a great day and God bless you Paul.
Amen! Great haul Paul that taco chair is pretty cool and that 😮folding table they are nice I have one. That was nice of those guys waving you down the seen real nice. You’re getting your bad weather tomorrow. Thank you for taking us along have a wonderful evening 😊
I wish I lived closer to you I would buy a lot of the stuff you scrap. Fix it then resale it cheap for people who can’t afford new stuff. Like the washer, the chairs, the dog crate and the scooter.
It is the same thing anywhere I think in the world that scrappers have to deal with and that is inevitably no matter what when you block a driveway so we neither has to leave or come in. You could literally sit there for hours watching a driveway nothing happens you park in front of it that's when everyone wants to come and go. 😅 What is it with that? Well thanks for the ride always love coming along with you get green get wild.
Hey brother Paul awesome video be awesome be your self have a great bless day and night you and your family be safe and healthy and healed and Happy you and your family be careful when you are out doing what you love to do your brother DENNIS 😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing. Its funny that i had no rain after last night. It has been dry all morning and afternoon. You take care and may God bless you with all the scrap you can handle.
Nice to see your filling the truck Paul !! Prices getting much better as well. The weather is a funny thing isn't it. Here in Nevada cold and rain yesterday. Cold this morning and decent in the afternoon. Tomorrow high is 75 good resale day at least. Then right back to cold and rain. But yah know it's all good 👍
Great video as always, Paul! When you found that brass headboard the song, “Lay Lady Lay” popped into my head. I am STOKED you kept the Taco Bell chair! I was on the edge of my seat hoping you would. We have that weather coming our way tomorrow. High Wind Watch. Yikes. 😬 Love Olivia’s new sweater. Stay safe! Have a great weekend!
Hi Paul, thank you for the great videos I love watching them and find myself going back and watching your old ones and still enjoying them, thanks for all your amazing work xxxx
Yeah I’ve been watching some of the very first ones and enjoying them just as much the second/third time round just as much as the first time, thank you for taking your time out to make them as they help me past the time away on my bad days (with health issues) and can’t get out of bed so for that I’m more thankful then you know xxxx

When my mom used to drive as a job, she had a notebook she kept records in. She used one vehicle for her job and her other for her personal vehicle. She got a gas card/credit card for getting gas in her work vehicle so always had records of what gas she got and paid it off each month. She kept her monthly gas info in notebook as well as daily earnings. She also included and receipts for repairs on that vehicle. This helped when tax time came to show all income and outgo for the job. This helps to not pay as many taxes on income. I enjoy watching what you do. The animal crate could have been sold individually, people fostering or training dogs use them sometimes. You can see if there are any places near you that help with weatherization. They will show you good ways to help you to save money in the colder weather. Sometimes, caulking around windows helps. My mom and dad had insulation blown in and upgraded to new more energy efficient appliances and water heater, furnace, heat pump, thermostats, etc.. They did it little by little and used energy rebates to save money. They also redid roof and windows and doors later. None of this is cheap. I always said if I have a way to own a home again and can do it, I would like to have my home as green as possible. Any time you have a washer, dryer, stove, or fridge I always sit and wonder why you never put your smalls inside them. You would think the "snap tool" would do it automatically for you!! Love the video's, keep up the great work!
Even if it's not a beautiful day in the neighbourhood, you're still todays version of Mr Rogers, lol.....of course, now you HAVE TO get the sweater and sneakers though, lol
Said prayers for you last night 🙏🏻. Looked like weather was rough in your neighborhood last night. Please send us an update when you can. I watched Ryan Hall y’all till after midnight. The weather went all around us, all we had was some wind 🌬️ and a little rain ☔️. That’s a great Taco Bell chair , I’d keep it! Just pray Lady Olivia and you were safe from the storm and had no damage to your house. 🕊️
Saving can be hard. Myself I am saving up for a house and in this economy it is near impossible to get anything under 125k at least the locations where I am looking at. You Paul have a beautiful house.
Paul, you're just like me when it comes to finances, lolololol 😅😅 I appreciate your down to earth personality. You're awesome! Thanks for your awesome videos! 😅😅
We have a Chevy Equinox and we love it! Had it for almost 3 years, bought it when it was 2 yrs old. We've never had a problem with. I buy nothing but Chevy's because they are the only vehicles we've had that out lasted the payments. lol Here's a goal for you. Save up for a Moritz dump trailer. It sits pretty low so it should be easy to load and then when you get to the scrap yard, flip the switch and (after you open the doors) it will dump the stuff for you!!
Ok, I know you don't want to be a hoarder but that Taco bell chair is fun!! Got to keep!!! The teens will love it!! That little stove thing looks like a woodstove type thing for a tent or something. Cute! LOL!
We got the same forecast here in Northeast Ohio as you have Paul. I believe its moving in my direction as it leaves your area because my local news says it will get to my area about midnight tonight and will be really bad all day tomorrow. Hard rains potential flooding and the worst is the high winds in the 50mph range off it,. Hopefully it wont be as bad as last weekend was, Last weekend it blew a tree down beside my mother in laws house and just missed landing on her house. The tree was a 80 foot tall pine tree from her next door neighbors yard. God was watching over things as luckily the only damage done there was the tree. I went over the next day with my chain saw and cut up the part that landed in her yard and moved all the wood over into the edge of the neighbors yard who said they were going to get a tree service guy to come remove the stump and trunk that was in their yard and they would just get him to haul off the wood. Many people in our area are still without power from that storm also. Luckily ours never went out. But it was bad here. Hopefully wont be as bad as last weekend. I hope its not so bad in your area either Paul. You stay safe and God Bless you buddy.
As long as you have Olivia and a place for her to live and food and your truck and the Lord and happy you are in good shape. Goals and the best way to save
Hope you're staying safe with the weather, I know that we are supposed to get lots of bad weather tonight. I'm in northern Illinois and it looks really bad now
Hey what’s up paul ? Love watching your videos. I would like to say you sure are very smart man for getting that rear gate lift. Well worth the money and back saver. Stay safe paul and god bless.🙏
To be honest it wasn't my idea. It was the viewers. And they don't just talk, they walk the walk because half the cost of the liftgate was paid by viewers. I am eternally grateful
Hahaha, I have 4 of the same taco bell chairs lol, when they were remodeling our local restaurant I was there scrap guy so I kept the chairs for my breakfast nook. It's a rare occasion when another scrapper points out stuff...around here they think the curb belongs to them. #happyscrapping
Good morning Paul, I just read that in Illinois you have also been affected by the tornadoes that are hitting your country, I hope you don't suffer any mishap, take care of yourself. Greetings from Barcelona-Spain.
@@ScrapPalletMan I am very glad that you are well, I hope that everything continues the same, that corridor of tornadoes seems frightening to me. I wish you luck.😇
Paul I had to chuckle…when my 30 something year old daughter was about 4 years old, I pointed out to her how fast the clouds were moving across the sky. She looked at them moving and pondered for a moment before saying to me, “Does that mean it’s going to be a quick day?” Lol. Ah-out of the mouths of babes! ❤

You want to know something weird? I'm watching your video and the part where you pull your truck forward to let the homeowners in their driveway and you start to tie off your load. When the knot didn't work and the line is rubbing against each other, I got that same feeling you get when you run your nails against a chalk board or something. When I saw that line rubbing against each other, I could feel the hair on the back of my neck stand up. 😮. Weird 😊. Great video as always 👍
I’ve always wished I had a truck like yours. So many times I’ve had to pass scrap because of a lack of space. I drive a murano that can tow 3500, but it has no tow hitch.
Little Rock got hit. Peoria area had one. The whole central part of the country is lit right now. The storms are moving fast. Not giving time for shelter
That lawnmower looks just like the one I’m currently using, except mine is more rusted. I haven’t seen a snowblower for years, because I haven’t seen any snow since 1999.
thats a lot of work for so little money bro may the lord shine on you and family my friend and ill definitely pray for you your out there working for the things you need to survive , you are an inspiration to all whom sit on the ass doing nothing but winge and moan peace to you brother
Wow God moment today. Bruce and I were at my doctor appointment today. 2nd floor of the hospital. It was my turn to go in to see the doctor. Hospital security had sent a message for everyone to take cover , right now. There were about 12 people in the hall way. When we herd the hail thumping, very loudly, I can't remember what my prayer was, but my hands were lifted high. We got the all clear, and we went back into the rooms where we came out of. As we were leaving, the doctor, whom I just met today, came up to me, and thanked me for the beautiful prayer, and then the head nurse came to thank me. I just said , "I take the Lord with me , where ever I go, and I will pray at anytime, out loud. They thanked me again, and we went on our way home. When we walked outside, there was chunks of bricks in the road and in the grass. We are home now , and here comes round 2 of the storms.
Oh Paul. The blazer and trail blazer have been made smaller. I just had to go get a vehicle and just loved the Chevy Traverse. Awesome "car" . Three rows of roomie seats and it is just wonderful. I needed the room for my scooter and groceries. The blazer really doesn't have a lot of room. The blazer had a bit of a rough time with hills. Still praying for you and your shoulder. Michaels hair is getting so long. I bet that if it was straight it would be down to his butt. Still gorgeous hair. Going on vacation in just 9 hours and still need to pack my clothes. Going to Ohio, Tennessee and Georgia. I will try to send some warm weather. Have a Blessed week!
Paul, you mentioned goals. It is very important for you to decide how long you are going to live after 😕 You retire or become disabled. Most people's goal is 75. So you subtract your current age from 75, and multiply that result times $2,000 per month. Then subtract your anticipated social security check per month (if you believe You will get SS). The result is the amount of dollars you need to save now each month for your future. I did that and now have a sufficient amount of $$ to live on. Put it in a 401k where it's not that easy to get to it now. LOL VERY IMPORTANT YOU HAVE THIS GOAL.
Margee, say I'm 67 subtract that from 75 which is 8 ,8 times 2000 is 16000! What kind of a job should I have to start with? 16000 times 12 is 192000. I must have misunderstood the instructions. Could you make an example? If I have a job where I can put that much money in a retirement every year I wouldn't have to worry about retirement.
That was awesome of the other scrapper to point out some scrap you might have missed . That was a great load. I know they were busy but could you have turned in the brass right away or did you have to do something to it before??? Just curious. We have been having strange weather . Snowed this afternoon and is suppose to again tomorrow despite it going up to 12C . Have a great weekend . Keep Safe ❤Keep Well❤Many Blessings
Yeah the brass has some steel bolts still attached. If I turned it in as is I would get brass breakage. Or dirty brass they call it. About 25% of brass value
@@ScrapPalletMan Thank you for answering my question. I thought I saw some bolts on the bottom but was not sure that was the reason . Hope you are having a great weekend. Much Love ❤❤❤
Wow you said OCD we have that in common, if I leave my house and come back and look around I can tell if someone moved something OCD can be good at times and bad at times. Have blessed day Paul your Cool 😎 🖤😎🙏🙏.
Paul, make an I.R.A. a goal. AS you get older you are going to have more days that you just can't do what you are doing now, some kind of savings is a god send on those days. Trust me, I'm learning this the hard way now.

We had a thunderstorm here in Michigan last night it was nice hearing the thunder. Awesome Video Paul.. Have a Wonderful Day
The silver/metal container with the tsp/faucet you picked up with the lawnmower is called a samovar. It is used by Turkish or Russian or ajerbygan to boil water for tea or coffee etc. You put water in the main part and build a fire in the part with a stove pipe on it. Very interesting
That sounds amazing. Firewater.

When my mom used to drive as a job, she had a notebook she kept records in. She used one vehicle for her job and her other for her personal vehicle. She got a gas card/credit card for getting gas in her work vehicle so always had records of what gas she got and paid it off each month. Paul, you must be an old rocker like me. I noticed some of the great tunes you are listening to while scrapping. Keep up the good job.
🤟😃
That claw machine fascinates me.
I’ve always wished I had a truck like yours. So many times I’ve had to pass scrap because of a lack of space. I drive a murano that can tow 3500, but it has no tow hitch.
We have had Tornadoes most of the day 3/31/23 in Ar one touched down four times already and still going. Pray for us.
We are under a tornado watch right is very moment
We should always have a goal. I suck at saving money Paul
Without a goal it seems like money just evaporates.
Paul, your area has a high potential for tornadoes today. Check for live storm chasers on here.
Yeah we're under a tornado watch right this very moment
Little Rock got hit. Peoria area had one. The whole central part of the country is lit right now. The storms are moving fast. Not giving time for shelter
That lawnmower looks just like the one I’m currently using, except mine is more rusted. I haven’t seen a snowblower for years, because I haven’t seen any snow since 1999.
thats a lot of work for so little money bro may the lord shine on you and family my friend and ill definitely pray for you your out there working for the things you need to survive , you are an inspiration to all whom sit on the ass doing nothing but winge and moan peace to you brother
13:57 That was a metal camp stove it was a awesome keep item as you never know when you need it
Stay safe out there
As I write this DeKalb is under a tornado warning. I hope Paul and his family are ok.
We were in the basement with the sirens going off. All clear :-)
Thank God!
Every now and then, I will see things that I could use, but it would cost too much to send them here!
greetings friend from Mexico, I spend a lot of time and I see that it has a ramp to upload things, a hug and keep sharing videos
Hello my Mexican friend
Friday night's weather was scary. Tornado alarms going off as we got sent to the basement several times
@@ScrapPalletMan we were blessed today,!
If Bruce don't go get the trailer,, it just might take 3 trips.
Sounds like the winds are getting kinda interesting out that way.
The traverse looks amazing
Sing, Brother Paul! There is nothing wrong with The Beatles! I like Big Country and Echo and the Bunnymen!!!
Big Country, totally AWESOME!!!!
That taco bell chair was awesome!
It's a rainy day in the neighborhood. Great payday today
For people that have nothing in savings, why not set a goal to put $100 a month into a Roth IRA.
Paul sempre il numero uno 😊👍💪💯
You are awesome sir . Used to do that myself. Might go back to scrapping since I like being my own boss.
When you are backing up I have to close my eyes because you move your head back and forth to see and it makes me dizzy. LOL
And makes me dizzy too
Wow you said OCD we have that in common, if I leave my house and come back and look around I can tell if someone moved something OCD can be good at times and bad at times.
