Yes it's a real job...My father raised 8 kids scrapping and picking it's as real as it gets, and through rain, snow, heat and cold 4am-5pm everyday... My hero my mentor, Love and miss you Dad, thank you for everything.

funny how on other channels people say after 20 minutes "that's all time we have for this video, wait for next part" and then here's Paul collecting scrap for 50 minutes straight and many of us, loyal subscribers sit here and watch the video and being entertained by it. Keep it up.
Scrappers are earth savers. The amount of items that can be resold to the scrap yards and out of landfills is a wonderful thing. Blessings to all who do this Thankless job.

Scrappin is my job, hobby and entertainment. I'm a people person and like to chat with our G-men, neighborhood peeps, police, firemen and bus driver's. Everyday is something new. Love the hunt. Like you, I also donate some items to local thrift store. With me, it's scrapping, reselling and good for my mental physical health. I just watched an episode from 5 year's ago. Yep, I actually have been doing it for about a year now..started out kinda rough until I watched you, Mike the Scavenger, Thub, TinMan, and others and learned quite a bit!! Went from making about $60-$80 a load to now I make anywhere from $200-$500 a load. And yes, it takes hard work at times, but knowing where to go and when to go is essential in Florida; there are a LOT of Scrappers here… But I’m actually in process of starting my own LLC and have a few regular customers in industrial areas which are big companies with deep pockets and throw out all kinds of goodies!! Gonna start my own RUclips channel very soon as well being inspired by you and the other guys!

All depends on your locality. City vs country. And your will power. If you live near a military base. Scrap and junk removal, you will make out like a bandit.

So many people suffer with it but if you’ve never had it, people can’t imagine how horrible it is. I pray for all out there who suffers with it. Fun fact: air compressors actually have expiration dates just like apples or bananas they do this because the rust can build up on the inside of the tank due to moisture accumulation or the welds could fail.

My husband empties the air out of it when he is done using it. Does that get the moisture out? One he has is from at least the 70's

You inspire me, I've been collecting Plastic and glass bottles and also aluminum cans for about two years now.
After watching your channel, I've started to collect scrap metal, aluminum and other types.

Paul with the ovens the doors come off by just open 1/4 of the way and pull sometimes there's a safety screw down by the hinge but it makes it easier and lighter to move

It is absolutely a real job. I started a full-time business scrapping, and looking to expand. With the right connections and business plan, you can make a VERY decent living scrapping! Besides, Uncle Sam also absolutely considers it a real job! 😳😂

You can take that plastic bed liner out and have them put in a spray bed liner. The only problem is your factory metal bed has grooves, too, but just not as many as the plastic junk.

Save that dryer cord for the air compressor [to convert to 230 V 30A]. The air compressor is currently wired to 120 volt. That 5 hp motor will blink your house lights at every start. A friend had a home business with a compressor in use that ran once hourly on average. The blinking got old really fast. Affected CRT TVs too.
Spray in or roll in bed liner. Roll in bed liner you can do it yourself. About $100 a gallon. Good for 3 coats. I have a spray in bed liner.

It is a real and a great job, been doing scrap metal recycling for years, sometimes as a side hustle and sometimes as full time work. Pay is great. I took your lead and got a lift gate installed on my one ton this past winter, the amount of appliances I loaded and hauled thus far already paid for it.
