Before today, I would have sworn that the sound of a dolly flying off of a moving truck is 'poing!', but at 26:57 we learn that it is actually 'bloop!'
Paul, I am today 63 years old. I do not know how I got this old. Not to say that I made trouble because I was the oldest of 6 kids, and was always told that I needed to set an example for my sisters and brothers. Which I still try to do to this day when I interact with them even when talking on the phone. They live up in IL and WI, and I live in FL. Hope you have a great 2024!
The best way to look at life Paul, you woke up and saw the sunshine instead of dirt, always praise God for you never know when, or where, or even why, he decides to take you home
Paul my name is metal Man and I do scraping to love doing it it's so fun to do watch your videos all the time it's amazing what people throw out have fun scrapping
My grandmother celebrated her 103rd bit on March 10. A very strong Christian woman of faith for more than 90 years. We love abs treasure every day we get.🎉❤
Well we finally found our cat who had been injured we had to put him down buried him with a blooming catcus to keep animals away. Had thought of you & was hoping for a great day & you got it❤ planted onions. It’s 84 here celebrated 79 years yesterday. God is great
Hon , Mike don’t do the competition thing with other scrappers. He’s still young enough to climb in dumpsters and can still lift. He just encourages others that a side hustle and scrapping keeps things out of landfills. He educates with follow tutorials on how to strip wire, scrap copper from motors , how to separate metals. . Eventually age catches up with all of us. Mikes just a nice guy doing his thing.
Can’t help myself. The ironing board was collapsed already.🤣 and I think you find nonsuper offensive humor where ever you can find it. Ima clean kinda joke gal.i find smiles wherever I can in life.
You're right Mike the Scavenger does jump in dumpsters . Where your not able to do that . He can lift things that you can't . That scrap about kicks his butt but he does good . He had a real heavy load that weighed as much of his truck. On that load he made over six hundred dollars.
I loved finding garden tools in the trash. Shovels, picks, shovel handles, rakes, etc. That was when I had a van and trailer. Made decent money from scrap too. I wish scrap steel prices here were better. I have two old snowblowers to get rid of. Mower parts, a washer body too
Awesome scrap days Paul. Thanks for sharing, I heard on our news tonight that the warm winter set a record for a warm winter from 77 years ago that's coast to coast to coast he said.
Paul, I really enjoy ALL your videos. The most important and interesting parts are your prayers and your skill with the rope tying and winding just blows my mind!
Wow! What a great scrap day . Time sure passes fast . One day your wishing you were an adult and the next you want to turn back time and be a kid again. Have a Blessed week . Keep Safe ❤Keep Well❤P.S. Don't forget to go back and ring that door bell .
Good afternoon Paul. Great to see you today. Thousand pound scrap day isn't too shabby😊. I've been saying prayers for more scrap for you for a while now. This Illinois weather has been very nice and it has my flowers starting to bloom already. Thanks for the ride along 😊😊😊😊😊😊
Hello Paul awesome haul. The weather is gorgeous I love it ,it always puts me in a great mood. And next week cold I guess I’ll be outside tomorrow just cleaning up. Thank you for sharing have a blessed day 😊
Paul I think if you put a pipe or crescent wrench on the piece of metal on the lock for the gate and bend it a little you won’t have to use the pin anymore!!??? Save a couple of movements in the grand scheme of things!!??
When I was doing scrapping, I made a lot of money reselling washers and dryers, fridge, stove, bbq's, and many other items that I would repair myself and resell it back.
Hey Paul, In the last 6 months I have started taking most appliances apart or at least extracting the motors. Larger appliances like washers and dryers have larger size motors and are relatively easy to disassemble to extract the motors or you can even cut them out in some cases without disassembly. Once you extract the motors, the motor itself without any further work is worth 3x the scrap value than the appliance is whole. Extract the copper windings and separate the steel and aluminum from the motor and that increases the worth 10x the scrap value over the whole appliance. All I do now is pick up appliances, dismantle them, clean up the wires, separate the aluminum from steel, and break down the motors. I can easily do 6-8 a day with little issue, and I am collecting $500+ every day this way. It really has changed the game for me. It's wild how just breaking these items down skyrockets the return value.
Nice payday Paul, enjoyed your video. I can't believe how much you found on the curb. Did you ever go back to that house that said to ring bell for more prizes. May God bless you and take care until the next video.
Unfortunately I have to do it. When ma passed in December we lost 3k a month. I'm on disability so I have to keep track of what I make so I don't lose my benefits. Not easy with arthritis and fibro. I'm in pain by the end of the day. It is fun to do though
Hi Paul , did you know that you are very awesome yourself and i give you thanks for serving our country. You are also one heck of a musican. love ya man
Crawfordsville Arkansas here hi Paul love watching my scrap guy I would love to be able to do this so I’m in the truck scraping with you so the wires are around my feet
Paul, I am always praying for you! You're always praying for me as well. I have some spinal issues and I live in agonizing pain every day. Been that way for almost ten years. I have two spinal stimulators in my back that help control some of the pain, but I simply trust our Lord to help me every day. I am blessed to be able to watch you every night when you post a new video. I am blessed to hear your stories and hear all your prayers. Please keep it up and know I love you and your pets as well. Thanks
I enjoy your videos. It's amazing what people throw away. I enjoy when you talk to yourself like "come on Paul" sounds like me. Have a great weekend and God bless
When I was 25, a minute ago, I felt like my world was consumed with being a single mother and a full time worker. When I was 40, a minute later, my son was grown and I still worked full time, volunteered in my community and time flew. I was fully present and felt like I paid attention to the world around me. Today, 31 years later, and my world is very different, I am happily retired with a small cottage business in my garage. I developed leukemia so I try not to mingle with the masses much. I have learned to enjoy being with me and doing what I want with none of the past pressure. My advice - keep paying 14:38 attention, save as much money as you can in your youth… you have no idea how much you will need it later when you can no longer work and earn more. Be kind and generous to others and never compromise your self respect.
HEY BROTHER PAUL AWESOME VIDEO LOVE YOUR VIDEOS BE AWESOME STAY AWESOME BE YOUR SELF HAVE A AWESOME GREAT BLESS DAY AND NIGHT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AWESOME STUFF GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY YOUR BROTHER DENNIS ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEOS 😊😊
Paul it’s not bad to be blessed by people sometimes you go out and get little bits of metal and you stay happy and you go maybe by your house and pick up some you were kind of hanging onto and you go sell that but you make sure when you saw some furniture Tabor some shoes or something that could be used to resell for people less fortunate you do that so getting blessed with customers on the road in a nice beautiful day with all the snow in the cold weather gone it’s not bad and I’m just now watching this video you probably did a while back but I’m watching it now
I always relate to K. Chesneys song, Don’t blink. It sums up everyone’s life. My first grandchild was born yesterday, he is now almost 16. It’s that quick. Great video as always. Love how you discuss every day life, your military service and show the quiet times at the pond, the sunrises and sunsets. I hope you will post a video next month the day of the eclipse. Here in Arkansas it will be grand central station. Have a good rest of the week!

You always know it's a good scrap day when it's two runs to the scrap yard. Good for you Paul.

Great nigjt and day scrapping. It should be better now that spring is upon us. Thanks for sharing Paul. God bless

I will be 58 in June and Ole George was sooo right. Not only did those 40 years fly by, most of it is a blurrr!
I loved finding garden tools in the trash. Shovels, picks, shovel handles, rakes, etc. That was when I had a van and trailer. Made decent money from scrap too. I wish scrap steel prices here were better. I have two old snowblowers to get rid of. Mower parts, a washer body too
To test for copper or brass, put deep scratches in it. If it's copper colour , is copper. Brass has a yellowish colour.
Awesome scrap days Paul. Thanks for sharing, I heard on our news tonight that the warm winter set a record for a warm winter from 77 years ago that's coast to coast to coast he said.
Wow. That's a long time ago

When I was doing scrapping, I made a lot of money reselling washers and dryers, fridge, stove, bbq's, and many other items that I would repair myself and resell it back.
I found that exact wheel barow at the dump and fixed it up.
Hi Paul most of the scrap men use a Bell to let you know that they are about ❤❤
Mike the Scavenger is always giving you credit for the saying "pinch O matic 2000"
