Very budgeted dad here everyone always complains about plastic parts . Your are so strong and well built I do not feel cheated at all its a amazing build I love it u make it very well built product. the suspension links are better than I've ever held just quality
Whoaw 🤯 had to stop this video @2:03:00 regarding Harley not knowing Air Wolf just like The Knight Rider tv series and He-Man and GI Joe cartoons all my childhood favs growing up in the 80s god I’m old! Ok back to the build 🤯
In my book on the rear axle housing it shows to put bearings in the end of the housing and on the axles themselves. But I think that's wrong obviously because you only put them on the axles themselves. I tried putting them both places but then cups then don't go on the whole way
Quick question just got done building your 3 gear with your hurts dig, it seems like when the dig is locked it locks everything not just rear did I do something wrong?? Everything is smooth in unlocked position. Please help! Thanks Josh! And BTW they gave me dig directions with my 3 gear so I had no directions had to watch you build one for a vs4-10
What’s the chance you’ll have a VS4-10 Pro with a VFD twin? Or can you add the selectable OD to the VS4-10 Pro? Love the idea of the Phoenix but think I’d rather start with the Pro. Your opinion on why I should start with one vs the other if I’d really like the selectable OD.
Hi Bro I bought a straight axle Phoenix builder and to mount it I'm following your video which was very useful to me but the part concerning the electronics is missing I need three servos one of which is very powerful for the steering I was thinking of the Doyono H60 to feed it at 7. 4v is a bec needed? the other two Power HD 1501 servos must be powered at 6v. This is the choice that was suggested to me by an important dealer in the area, would you follow it, do you have something else to offer me.
BEC depends on if the ESC you use has a strong enough BEC. I've never heard of Doyono so I have no idea how much power it will draw. Adding a BEC is a good choice to be safe.
Anyone have any issue with body roll after the VS410 straight axle was finished. When I throttle or reverse I get body roll pretty bad only seems to be coming from the front not sure where to check from here
If no shroud I suggest using the aluminum motor mount and support rods. That thing will flex with the Fusion 2300kv on the side of a rock. I found out quick

Lol everyone is like hey new truck . Oh same truck . Straight axel
I've been asking for years, and now I am super thankful that you made plastic axles. I will finally buy one. Thank you from Roseville.
Wow, looks even better than I would have thought on 4.19’s!
I made the pro, ultra and now working on the straight and this kit seems to go together the easiest
Pretty quick build considering, VS4-10 is on my list to make my next prerunner🤙
Watching from 🇬🇧 just ordered one myself. Hard to over get here
One of my next rigs for sure😍

I'm thinking about buying one of these. Undecided on the portal or straight axle kit.

Are they gonna bring out a straight axle kit or are we gonna have to buy the parts separate.....
Where do u put the green slime
Are the screws for the steering stops supposed to be tightened all the way down? I noticed the plastic bulging on the back side on mine.
Were can i get some brass knuckles for the straight axle kit
SSD makes nice ones
Question, how many shims on the drive train? I see 4 in the bag, is that 1 on each of the axle input shafts and 1 on each of the transmission outputs?
They aren’t required, they’re optional. 1 or 2 can be put on the outside of the pinion shaft to hold the gear out when attached to the driveshaft.
@@HarleyDesignsInc thanks for the quick response! Appreciate you taking the time
Can the next vs410 body be a cj8 type body?
I got a mustache hair in my shock rebuild is that kinda like your cat hair in your build
Where did you get your bit set you’re using with the dewalt?
Not a Pro tip... next time you’re building a black chassis wear a different colour shirt!!!

Every time he says “we” i get confused.. does he work for Vanquish or with them?
Owns
Could the Phoenix body be used in class1?
Where are all these D44s?

Check to see if the driveshaft is rubbing the front of the transfer case. It sounds like you have a bind and that is the most likely place.
I never use the shroud
