You can make analog handbrake to replace that servo motor,with dual linear potentiometer instead of button that works as usb device,but not sure about console compatibility. 🙂
Ostro kombinowałeś ale się udało - gratulacje. Generalnie mam prostszy pomysł na hamulec ręczny pod konsolę (ps4). Kupuję używanego pada do konsoli - może być połamany, ważne żeby elektronika była sprawna. Do hamulca ręcznego dobieram potencjometr który będzie regulowany zaciągnięciem hamulca ręcznego. Dobieram jeszcze jakiś rezystor by generowana rezystancja była odpowiednia generowanej przez klawisz analogowy R2. Tak przerobionego pada podpinam do konsoli kablem usb - i to musi zadziałać. ; )
Jak koń pod górę :P Znajomemu udało się to zrobić z pominięciem arduino, zrobił dźwignię która naciska ten żółty przycisk. Twoje rozwiązanie również brzmi sensownie :)
It is easier and cheaper to get the signal from the button r3 to the external cables, install the button in the hand brake, connect the cables to the button.

I also have the fanatec wheel and do not want to go inside of it as I am afraid it would never work again lol (I did just that trying to repair a G29 so I will leave opening up the wheels to someone that will replace it if they break it) I have been looking for a simple CHEAP way to incorporate a handbrake to my racing rig and believe Iv'e found just the one Iv'e been looking for. If you want something that will be ready out of the box there is fanatec handbrake and Thrustmaster sparco handbrake, depends what base you have on console, on pc you can plug anything even some budget joystick.

It is easier and cheaper to get the signal from the button r3 to the external cables, install the button in the hand brake, connect the cables to the button.

Platform doesn’t matter. It presses the button on a base. So whatever game will let you attach handbrake to this button you’re good to go.
