Mobile musings #5 (Technology rant, accessories update, and nearly hitting a stopped Audi!)

Talking about random stuff that pops into my head while I am riding my bike. This time I talk about BlueTooth problems, some of my bike accessories, and I almost run into a stationary car!

I have the most basic SENA headset system the 3s. I just have it connected to my phone, for the occasional music or podcast, and I use my phone for navigation when I need it. I mostly navigate by a handwritten set of road numbers and towns, and use the phone to find the final destination.

Not too much of a tech person. I am ashamed to say that I need to improve my tech knowledge. Great vlog my friend.

Hi,just a thought,have you tried switching your phone's bluetooth tethering on.I have exactly the same bike as yours,and the same problem with my Nav V1.I use a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge,which would not connect with normal bluetooth settings yet it will connect to my TomTom Rider 410,with no problems at all.A friend of mine told me to turn on Bluetooth tethering,which I did and now have no problems with connectivity.Worth a try,don't you think.

I wish technology was more user friendly, every time I hear the dreaded B word I cringe. Trying to successfully pair devices is a nightmare at times, specially with Apple stuff.
