There are a lot of issues in the world at the moment, but the world is actually quite at peace right now compared to other times in history. The greed for making money from resources is the issue. If everyone was happy to take resources for the sole purpose of distributing them evenly, then that would be great! Looks like a brilliant place to explore on two wheels! I wish I could take off and explore during STP, but I'm restricted to the one lit up route each year.

Thanks, it's a great bike for cruising - I do a 120 mile round-trip commute 2-3 times a week and the RT is totally brilliant for that. Not so much fun perhaps for the weekend blast around the country roads, but until I can afford a second bike it will do me fine.
Much respect for starting that early. Those of us in Europe have a much easier time of it. Might be kinda fun to be up and about at that time though - just as a one-off.

An 11 am start so much better than my 4 am start. Sometimes one voice can be heard better than a million.
