  • Once again there has been a rather longer break between videos than I planned, life does have an annoying habit of getting in the way of the things we want to do.
This trip is slightly longer than the last one, but still local and still manageable in a couple of hours. It's also a longer video than is usual for me. I'm trying something different so I hope you enjoy it.

In the 60's as a kid we spent most Sundays there, remember the road going through centre of park one side was private so we used to sneak in. Many old trees there with initials cut into the bark dating back to 1800's. We used to live in Ashton On Mersey and used to walk there with our bottles of corporation pop. What memories you have brought me back. In your video at 17:17 at entrance just on right of white car entering, that is the Horse chestnut tree were I cut my initials into the base of the tree dated 1967 haha.

Nice video mate! A bit of everything, nice roads, a bit of history and some drone work.

A drone flight up that river with fall colors would have been cool. Next time!
I think we both need to get our Himalayans a little dirty. 😉

I certainly envy you the freedom to go off-road so easily. The UK is a much smaller country and there are not so many places where you can get a bike off-road. But whether on tarmac, gravel or dirt, the Himalayan is still a great bike.

@@2WheelSolo You're sort of in the same boat I am where you have another bike that you like but the Himalyan is just for a different purpose and enjoyable in its own ways.

Good vid yet again, also inc a bit of drone footage, We set out for Bala yesterday but the weather killed it on the way to Northwhich so we shot off through to Buxton,, via Cat n fiddle ,, lovely local roads round here if you ever fancy a run out,As for the wind noise is your helmet a Shoei?

Cat & Fiddle is a great road, as long as you don't get carried away! Yes, the helmet is a Shoei Neotec. Noisier than my old Schuberth C3 but less likely to fog up all the time in the winter. I wear custom ear plugs for longer runs anyway so it's not really a problem and the wind noise isn't really noticeable when I'm on the RT, just the Himalayan.

Nice local ride! Shamefully, there are plenty of local areas for me to ride and visit for the channel, but.....I haven't taken advantage.
