OMG the smile yer baby gives you when she gets a hug from Daddy. OMG that's the BEST thing EVER! (All three of mine are grown:( I miss the little days :) )
Today was my first day bumping up from Rain mode into Standard mode on my '24 Rebel 1100 DCT as a new rider. I can definitely see how starting in Rain mode is a big help to get used to things before bumping up, but after a few minutes it was fine. After a few more rides it'll feel like normal I'm sure. I should have started riding a long time ago, but I'm glad I didn't start til mid 40s so I'm less likely to do something stupid.
I have several TCL TV's... 32-75" so far over 2 years with 3 of 'em, good deal. Also monitors I'm using Phillips stuff. Both TCL and Phillips purchases off Amazon. I've had sony's, toshiba, phillips, Samsdung, so many over the years. hope that helps! Cheers!
My grandson is a police officer in a small upstate New York city. If he pulls up behind a single passenger vehicle with pot smoke pouring out the window there is absolutely nothing he can do about it!
Thanks again for awesome videos and long trips! I hope doing well. Mr Aaron My sister had her gallbladder removed and my dad had surgery on his gallbladder stones mash by sonic?😅
the only thing wrong with these new tv's is the put the speakers in the back of them and you have to get a sound bar to be able to hear it. on my old tv i would run the sound on about 30 and this new one i am running the sound between 60 and 70 to get the same sound out of it. and you would know my old sound bar wont work with this new TV
Rev'it! makes the Eclipse 2 and the Torque 2 H2O jacket that come in a nice silver color, great mesh and the light color helps to deflect heat. I have the Eclipse 2 in Silver and the light color has made a big difference.
I've been eyeing those handlebars for my rebel but I really don't want to spend the money to possibly end up in the same place I already am with my current setup
Hey Quasi! Lovely little commute! Do I detect a bit of grumpiness before the food? How is it driving that auto-shifter through traffic? Does it pick the right gears or does it fly up to 6th and leave you wanting revs?
The other users with this Honda auto transmission say the sport setting changes that to make the transmission hold the shifts out longer. But Honda's auto transmission in a NC750x used by an Australian has gone over 100,000 miles. That guy has been all over Thailand well as Cambodia too. He lives in Thailand.
Yes and yes... I'm usually a bit grumpy without food and just about anytime while playing moto-frogger with Houston cagers. The Rebel 1100's DCT is very adaptive toward the rider's inputs, so it does a good job of "reading the mood". It's very much like driving a modern 6- or 7-speed automatic car because it will prefer a relaxed/efficient profile whenever the load or acceleration is low. You can switch it to "sport" or manual-shift modes for riding more aggressively, need longer holds on shifts, or more aggressive downshifts for engine braking. I typically ride in "normal" or "custom" mode so it's very relaxed and shifts early for better fuel economy. However, there is one annoying DCT quirk that required some re-learning on my part to work around. The DCT has a tendency to downshift rather abruptly while rounding corners at 20-30 mph (e.g., freeway underpasses), and that causes the bike to tip-in suddenly due to lack of momentum. I adjusted my riding habits to manually downshift with the triggers just before cornering so the DCT holds the selected gear for a few seconds. Other than that, I just ride it like I stole it! 😉👍 --QM
@@QuasiRAW Hangry is a neologism for good reason I guess ;) Thanks for the feedback, I might try a DCT next summer but judging from your feedback I wont like it too much... What I do like a whole lot is the sh300 I got to pick up 10 days ago. You sold me on the scoots and I am LOVING this thing. I hear parts of your Canonball vids and certain phrases in my head often when riding! I owe you big time ;-)
I dont get the weed thing. I went to a cars and coffee this year and Im walking around and the smell is just lingering in the air. I just wanted to look at cars and get a coffee, not get a contact high at 7:00a.
Thanks for the feedback! I use Adobe Premiere Pro to edit and publish most of my videos. Unfortunately, that's not a packaged effect... rather, it's one that I build manually with a few built-in tools and a camera shutter sound effect. Send me an email at quasimotard@gmail.com if you're interested in the workflow and process. I'll be happy to make a short screen recording on how I do it and where to download the sound files. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
@@QuasiRAW wow !!! Thanks for the response 💪🏻 oki doki for sure im intetested i will send you an email with the title "screenshot" so you know its me from youtube . I appreciate your time sir . More power to your channel 💯🙏🏻👌🏻
LOL! It's everywhere. Once you know the smell, you know the smell. Makes it easy for the cops to give you endless grief. Dude, never localize your videos to your house. Unless your wife is willing to carry. I tried to get my wife to carry pepper spray, but she never took to it. Anyway, too many crazies out here. Never let them see your family. Just a thought, Great videos. Yes, I would guess, like me, you are prepared.
The weed stuff is horrible. It makes me angry when I smell it and it's not a choice, it's how my body reacts to it. Literal fight or flight anger response. The potheads will tell you I'm full of it, people that know the realities will tell you they're not surprised as millions react the same way or worse.

You’re not kidding!
I commute from Pearland into the city on a Goldwing & XMAX. I’m shocked at how many times I smell herb during the ride.
It's officially Fall but summer doesn't wanna leave at all

In CA it’s almost a given that you’ll smell it on the road.

I don’t think anyone’s stalking quasi. Not like he’s a famous celebrity.
🤣 Infamous is more like it! I'm packing big-bore heat 99.9% of the time, so I'm not too worried. 😉👍 --QM
