Great hunt! Do you ever have to worry about gators coming to steal your hogs/deer after they have been shot? Especially when you are dragging them back?

What grain are you using
Don't know who told you deer don't have anything to eat there bud but you couldn't be more incorrect. Florida deer, most all southern deer period, are small. The further north you go, the bigger the deer get. A whitetail that doesn't have good forage doesn't get a gut like the one you killed bud. Their small body size has to do with the warmer climate. Northern deer need that body size and fat to survive the cold and snow.
Also, the nutrients available in their forage doesn't make for large antlers. Genetics also play a large part in antler size and body size.
He's not only a hunter but an expert conservationist and animal rescue. Swamp deer are usually starving. That one deer he shot must have found a food plot and fattened up. You're the incorrect one. They also have bad genetics because of inbreeding and or lack of nutrition.
