That was a big dude for sure!!! And an awesome color. Make sure to show us the mount when it’s done. And LOVE seeing guys giving thanks to the one that blesses us. Great job!!! Keep on keeping on!!
Those who also idolate Trump must have a dilemma who needs donation most, or whether the Sunday Rally is more important than the red ones preaching gatherings. Beliefs are one's choice of course, but the simple fact the majority of the world believes in alternative deities and the record of evils committed in the name of fundamental Christianity are something to ponder on wet days.
Exactly. Wild hogs cost farmers hundreds of millions of dollars a year in damaged crops and property damage. Texas is especially bad. Female hogs can reproduce at six months of age. They’re very prolific and we’re losing this battle. Check out some Texas helicopter boar hunting videos.
That sure was a monster boar great hunt too.I think i would have wanted to be in a tree it's to bad one was not closer. And wonderful to know you folks are believers.
Wow...The video was great, but the reason I gave a thumbs up was your prayer. A prayer to the most high, the king of kings, our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. God bless you and yours.
Just joined your channel from England, we have wild boar problems, but nothing on this scale, and they're limited to smallish areas, it's only a small country. You typify the polite dignified, well mannered, Southerners I've met, hope I'm right about that because I was last in the States 35 years ago!
@@rikallan5094Yes, as did most European countries, these plaguing our forests now are descendants of penned wild boar, released by animal rights nutters.
Easier to do in a smaller country. US has more swamps and brushy areas, that hunters have difficulty getting back into. Hogs go there to rest and crank out babies.
They have just introduced wild boars into Scotland as they are good for the ecology as they were hunted out hundreds of years ago and they are also introducing other wild animals which were once native to the UK including beavers as these animals are there for a reason and there is talk of reintroducing European wolves into the highlands of Scotland to keep the wild deer in check
Have never seen a wild hog before until after Hurricane Ivan. Animal control wouldn’t touch it. Two of my neighbors (police officers) couldn’t get a clear shot. My next door neighbor belonged to a boars hunting club. He finally was able to kill it with one perfect shot. It had rooted big holes in my yard and my dogs were a nervous wreck. So glad I had a neighbor to help. (Pensacola)
Great video! It was great to see the relief on the homeowners faces as they learned that you had put that big hog down. I haven't taken any wild pigs yet, but would love to learn how to take these pests.
Great work putting him out of action... and even better to see people giving thanks to God for his provision of great food, and most of all, our salvation through his Son. I just bowed my head and prayed with you guys when you did that.
Back in the late 70's, I used to work at a livestock yard where they are bought and go to market. I have seen domestic boars come thru over 1000 lbs. 5 1/2' tall 8inch tusks. The get huge on a farm.
Biggest boar we ever had went over 600. Well mannered but didn't know his own strength. He gave my dad a friendly head rub and made 6" gash in his calf. He liked head scratches FWIW.
Fantastic shot no hesitation adapted to a new plan instantly, I shoot the same way good sight picture and shoot the sight picture is usually best within the first 10 seconds before things start wabbling around, I shout at the screen when I see hunters with the animal in their sights for 30 seconds or more, I had a friend who used to do it, drove me nuts. Fantastic video, I have never hunted boar but always wanted to, enlighten me to why the males make better eating, bless you and your family keep up the good work.
Remember kids, they used to hunt these things with packs of dogs and a heavy-shafted spear with a cross-bar to keep them from running onto the spear and then keep going to get at you as they died. Many wore their armor, chainmail or brigandine, usually.
Good one! We had two boars about that size on our lease in East Texas. Wild pigs had been hitting our feeders regularly during the day, but these two brutes were strictly nocturnal! I set up a ladder stand at the edge of the swamp where they stayed during the day. Right before dark I heard them coming. They must've felt something wasn't right, because they stopped just out of sight. I was armed with a Ruger Redhawk 44 Magnum pistol, with a Red Dot scope, but it was almost too dark to see. I decided to wait anyway and use my flashlight if needed. Then those two started either fighting or just tearing up brush for some reason, because it sounded like two squealing Sumo wrestlers in the brush. My big 44 Magnum was starting to feel quite puny, compared to the sounds I was hearing. I decided to sneak out of there while they were fighting, so I climbed down. As soon as my foot hit the ground all noise stopped! I popped on my flashlight, found the trail and RAN as fast as I could back to my truck. As far as I know, those boars are still in that swamp!
That's a slob porker, bonus was finding out it was a bar hog! Nice job! I've been picking up pigs at my buddy's place, great to see the meat is going to good use, plus giving all the praise to God. Keep up the good work!
I'd like to thank the homeowners for allowing you onto their property for the removal of this destructive hog. We as ethical hunters greatly appreciate these folks🙏 Thank you. Nice kill my friend, I bet that was some tasty pork on a fork since he was a bar hog!!!😋👍👍
I want to see the full body mount of that haaaaaaag! Such a cool pig, and such a cool color. Thank you for knowing what a bar hog is, and what that means in terms of meat.
@@phylliswhite4154 not necessarily - I know a couple of folks in a southern state that used to catch boar hogs w dogs, castrate, and release on their own property. At the time they were doing this, this WAS legal. It is now ILLEGAL to do this in that state, and they stopped when the law changed.
That was a monster hawg & what did you think when you found out that it was a bar? I bet you will get a load of meat too. Those crabs & sausage made my tummy growl. I used to make low country boil for my parents, family & friends & they all enjoyed it. Keep up the good work & be careful out there. God bless you & your family.
Can you make a lot of jerky from such a big hog,or do you pick some meat for this and other meat fot that? Is it safe to use the meat as is or do you fead him beforehand, in order to clean it up from the inside. Where after the vet tells you the meat is safe to use Do you manage to bring their numbers down or is it next year the same all over again? Good for you to to thank the Lord. Cobus🐳
The prayer was the cherry on top. God bless.
