    *Important Safety Note*
    Safety is my number 1 priority and concern while operating Tesla's FSD Beta software and at no point have I, nor will I subject customers to unnecessary risk. I am in full control, take over regularly, and I am extremely vigilant and cautious at all times. Furthermore, I do not subject anyone to Self Driving features that are uncomfortable or request me not to use it.

      @@harishyala no that's not true. The thing is, the more you climb the 90% wall, the harder it gets to cover the last percentages. Did you blow through that first stop sign? You said there are charging networks that fill you up in about 20 minutes...that's not true and you know that. You can get to 80% but not 100%, but I get the point.

    • @CYBRLFT
      @CYBRLFT  4 месяца назад

      I did yes. As for the charging comment, there’s no point in being so nit-picky there lol. In the EV Sphere the discussion around “filling up” is colloquially understood as 80-90%. And that is filling up. It’s not technically full but it is filling up. See I can play with words too 👀

    • @Resist4
      @Resist4 4 месяца назад

      @@CYBRLFT Charging to 80% is so not considered "filling up" in the EV world, at least with no other EV drivers I know. But when using the words it's important to be accurate around ICE drivers who know nothing about EV's. Because they will take the words as fact and then will be disappointed when they find out it really isn't true. That's all I'm saying. The only way to get them on board is to be completely truthful. I have told friends who were interested in buying an EV that they probably shouldn't because it might not be right for them, because there is more work you have to do when taking long trips. They aren't into how much to charge for battery health or when to charge and for how long. I really hope battery degradation won't be a thing and we can just drive and fuel up our EV's like ICE vehicles and not thing about it.

    • @CYBRLFT
      @CYBRLFT  4 месяца назад +1

      @@Resist4 I’ve had thousands of exchanges with people and the majority of people interested in EVs that I’ve spoken with have the understanding of 80-90% AND even know about the natural slowing of the charging curve. I think people deserve more credit than you’re giving.
      Plenty of times in these conversations I’ve added the caveat of getting to 80% or so when they ask about the charging. Also when setting your charge limits the display shows you the daily limits vs trip ranging from charging to 50% up to 100%
      You totally missed my point about the semantics of saying filling up vs topping off or being actually full too lol. I was being facetious there but it’s still true. You’re in the act of filling up regardless of where you unplug. 😏

    • @Resist4

Sure almighty one ya'll think hit twer so old fashioned, well for me at 77 years just pushing a button is so new fashioned as to be revolutionary. Maybe sometime in the FAR future I will just use my phone when I get a Cyber Truck it is possible in that far off future I might possibly think the same way. Possibly so, possibly not. But to carry my key with me is NEW TO ME AFTER MANY MANY YEARS OF PUTTING A KEY IN THE IGNITION TO NOT IS A HUGE NEW STEP FOR ME. What would be revolutionary to me would be powering this battery powered car with molten salt thorium reactors seems to this old cowboy to be an actual new thing moving from the past into a future of atomic power would be much more concurrent to something radical and new, (in a good way), compared to a massive screen on the dash.

    I do like the format of your videos, but I figured I'd just put this out there since you are such a small channel. There's something annoying about the way you talk about EV's and Tesla, etc. I can't really pin point it, but I'd say I don't like how you refer to Tesla as "we". Yes, I know you are referring to Tesla drivers, but you have no relation to the actual company, so saying it that way is weird. I think it really comes down to how steadfast positive you are when people bring up the normal questions people have about EV's. For example with this woman brings up the fact that she wouldn't be able to charge at home. You basically rejected her premise by saying you can't either, and it takes about 20 minutes to charge. As trivial as it may be to you, taking 20 minutes to charge every few days compared to the 5 minutes at a gas station is absolutely a deal break to a lot of people. I can't wait to get a Tesla and I would never get one if I wasn't able to charge at home. A better response would have been, ask your landlord to put in a charge station, or, you can charge it on a normal outlet. I do appreciate your content and I wish your channel luck.

    • @CYBRLFT
      @CYBRLFT  4 месяца назад

      Could you provide a few examples of the “we” you’re referring too?
      One of the reasons I use my own experience to debunk these concerns is because most of people’s internal stop-blocks to trying an EV are in fact trivial. The sheer amount of time we waste in a day is staggering. Taking 20 minutes to charge up her insanely reliable and low maintenance EV is a trivial trade off.
      I am willing to hear some examples of how a 20 minute charge once or twice a week is so intrusive if you like though.
      I just want to bring diligence to the comment you took your time to write which I appreciate.

      get outta here with that shit bro... adding that little dig of it being a "small channel." everyone starts somewhere, he's never boasted about being anything special. he loves what he does and enjoys bringing content to the thousands of people who have subscribed.
      provide an example of where he talks about "we" in regard to tesla. he does it in relation to FSD Beta testers, absolutely. that's not claiming association with Tesla, that's referencing a group of individuals who have something in common. he also says "we" in relation to his wife because they both have teslas. i'm guessing you watched only one video, being this one, and then decided you know the entirety of how he runs his channel. that's not how you gather data before providing feedback.
      furthermore, he didn't REJECT anything & you're grasping at straws with that statement. she said she doesn't have the ability to charge at home which made her think she couldn't purchase an EV because "how would she charge it?" and he simply explained to her that she has options everywhere and then used a REAL LIFE example because he, too, cannot charge at home. nothing is more relatable than real life experiences. you also neglect to highlight how happy she was when he showed her how easy it is to find chargers here. something she clearly didn't know was an option. something A LOT of non-EV drivers don't know.
      he's not going to change his format because you... as one person, decided off of one video that you didn't like it. don't watch it. don't subcribe. and if you're not going to provide constructive criticism that isn't rooted in your personal bias, then don't comment.
