I always go on loyalties and side missions and Upgrade ships and buy stronger weapons first and then the legion mission and then the suicide mission. This is how I made it to the perfect ending! SIMPLE!!! 😁👍🏻
I did the mistake when my crew got kidnapped I continued doing side missions, didn't know that the game is that serious. Now I will load 9 hours save before and save them before heading to part 3 xD
Before getting the IFF, we literally have to finish ALL loyalty and recruitment, then you could do it And after that immediately going for legion loyalty
Literally the most epic ending to any videogame I've ever played. The epic music coupled with the satisfaction that you made all the right choices is just perfect.
Better than any film and worth playing and watching multiple times over (over 100 houra of games play). Only game that is on par with mass effect was witcher 3 ( over 200 hours of game play). Best games ever
Witcher 3 had okay ish main plot, excellent dlcs and inconsequencional side quests (if you would ask, i mean quests like killing Radovid). Mass effect exceeded witcher in every way, just not the dlcs (just one mans opinon)
Little plot hole, or not: If Reapers feed on the essence of species used to make them, which results in them appearing like the species used to make them, then why do all the Reapers look like the Leviathan race since Reaper Harbinger is supposedly the only Reaper crafted from Leviathan essence? Remember what the Leviathan of Dis said about each Reaper being born after a harvest, which means that Harbinger would be the only Reaper born after harvesting from the Leviathans.
i don't think it was ever stated that each Reaper looks like the species it's made from. The human reaper we saw at the collectors base might be only a skeleton, maybe only the central chamber of the future reaper.
Not me rewatching this as a cleanse because even though this is the ending I got, out of morbid curiosity I looked up the worst possible ending and scarred myself, and keep having to remind myself that everyone's okay in my run cause I haven't gotten far enough in 3 to see any of them yet 😅😅😅😅
I've had more playthroughs of this brilliant trilogy than I can count, but I have NEVER romanced Tali or Garrus. Something about the grasshopper legs and 3-digit hands that don't sit right with me. If I play as FemShep, it's Kaiden or Thane. BroShep, it's Miranda, Ashley, Liara, and Jack. I love to see Tali's growth as a character, but she has a permanent home in the friend zone.
I know this is a bit of a nitpick but @ 23:28 You should have seem the human reaper's final moments of it reaching up before exploding instead it goes into a black void. It's my one issue that the legendary edition has. It's pretty jarring
Compare this with the shitty final mission in ME3. That said, destroying the base is in fact idiotic. Not in game, where the ilusive man is a moron but had the plot been better, the collector base would've been the thing that could've gave data about the reapers weakness
I've never even used a custom face for the game, the original Commander Shepard face is the face of Mass Effect and in my opinion, there can't be another Mass effect without him just like there can't be another Witcher without Geralt.

The ending of this game was one of the most satisfying I have ever experienced. The music, the dialogue, the action, and the story are all top tier.

You can do two missions, which is a cool way to do Legion's loyalty mission and then Tali's where you get unique dialog if you take him along.

The outer casing looks similar for all reapers and is based on Leviathans. Only their core and their DNA comes from different species.

I only killed mordin and thane the scientist and the assassin
I got Grunt killed, and somehow losing only one crew member feels worse than losing them all
