Amen converting from an atheist to a Christian you learn a lot from a very religious family. Lane Frost was a true Rider and there will never be anyone like him. I never get tired of the film 8 seconds God bless the beautiful state of Oklahoma!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸
I remember when Lane Frost died. I lived 45 minutes from Cheyenne at the time. And I remember watching this movie. When the movie was over, nobody moved. We all sat there and watched the credits at the end and cried. On the way home my friend and I got pulled over by a cop. Turns out we had a broken headlight. he said "it's just a broken headlight. I'm just writing you a warning. Just go get it fixed. It's not a big deal you don't need to cry" we told him we just got done watching that movie and he said he cried at the end of it also. It is a tearjerker for sure.
Lane will never be forgotten .. the movie brought tears to many an to many people it helped them that rodeo is a huge risk in each event ! The bull came at him and lane had no choice ! Lane is forever etched into our heart's ..
Kellie is so beautiful, and she seems to be very beautiful on the inside as well. I was in the stadium in Cheyenne on the day that Lane Frost died. We watched his ride, then watched him get trampled by the bull. But he stood up and took several steps so we thought he was okay. We didn’t know until later in the afternoon that he died from his injuries. Such a sad day in Cheyenne.
Took my wife to watch this movie when we were just dating 29 years ago, still married and in love we watch it over from time to time, boy does it bring back memories of our past. Great movie ! They just don't make them like this anymore.
The interviewer gave it her very own 4-star review. I'm sure that was amazing. I saw the film. If that interviewer knew what she was talking about, she would've given 5 stars. I've seen it 100 times, and I still cry.
@@wildestcowboy2668 Oh, it did. It's hard to see, but it doesn't take much force from, "Takin' Care of Business" weighing in at almost 3k lbs. Lane Frost GOAT🙏❤️😘🤠
This interview happened before I was born and Kelly Frost is such a beautiful country woman and it’s so heartbroken that she lost her husband lane frost I can only imagine if he was still alive today he would have accomplished a lot more building a house for Kelly Frost and settling down and having kids
I met Kellie briefly at along with her two babies. She married my sister best friends sister brother whom my baby boy called shasha. I grew up in that town but moved away and ironically moved to town Freckles Brown lived. As soon as I moved to Soper Ok I visited Lanes and Freckles graves. The movie and Kellie’s Christian walk and motivational speeches are inspirational GOD bless
Sure do miss Lane it's been a long time since seeing him in NM way back then..He is truly a 8 second legend.....Rest in Peace Cowboy...Hey Tuff good seeing y'all missed seeing you in Vegas couple years ago when at the Rodeo..it's been 20 years seeing you...cheers buddy
I grew up riding bulls a major part of my life what a terrible thing to happen to such a Champion it still hits me pretty hard God rest your soul Lane Frost in Jesus name Amen
Such great strength and courage on behalf of both of these young people. I to was there on that fateful day. It is a day that I will never forget for sure.
I loved the Movie, but was a bit surprised at reading that some things in the movie were untrue. He wasn’t an only child as they portrayed in the movie, his Father was very proud of him and supportive of him. There was no unfaithfulness on either side during their marriage. These things must have been hard for the family to watch, knowing it wasn’t true.
I rode bulls as a teenager. Tuff was the champion when I was riding. I went with my girlfriend to watch 8 seconds at the theater. Not a dry eye in the place.
I have great respect Kellie Frost tuff and and all of the people that's made eight seconds back in 94 such an outstanding movie and a fitting tribute to a real American rodeo cowboy who loved and in my mind set the bar in rodeo bull riding events for people like tuff hedeman Cody Lambert Jim Sharp and all the other terrific rodeo champions I have a great respect for bull riding Kellie Frost looks amazing she is still as beautiful I'm so happy she found somebody new who loves her very much and too tuff hedeman who is also a three-time national champion this movie will forever be fitting and lasting tribute two Lane Frost and his memory for years to come Lane Frost he's always been one of my heroes and for those who portrayed Lane Frost which was played by Luke Perry tuff hedeman which was played by Stephen Baldwin and Kellie Frost herself which was played by Cynthia they really brought the story of Lane Frost to life I'm so glad this was a true story and I'm so glad that they made it so authentic to Lane story it is one of my all-time favorite movies for anyone who has not seen the movie I recommend the moviea great movie a true movie And very touching and heartbreaking movie at the same for anyone who does not know the story behind the behind the man Lane Frost please please watch the movie you will love it I own the movie I watch it constantly thank you thank you Kellie Frost Lane Frost tuff hedeman for making this movie so authentic and if I could I would love to shake your hands
Tuff did an interview in 2022 and stated he did not like the movie. He said basically that is not how tuff and lane were. and that the movie was all hollywood. Now looking back on it I would say the movie is based on the view of kelly.
It’s funny how Lane has impacted me and I never met him he passed away 8 years before I was born and even now at 25 I’ve always seen Lane and Tuff as two of my heroes who have gotten me through tough times that I wanted to give up and didn’t because they wouldn’t have
me too. honestly some days i feel so saddened by what happened, many tears shed not just while watching the movie, but even just thinking about what happened with lane. the truly heartbreaking part is if they had begun wearing vests while riding, lane would be with us today.
Nice to see the real people . Ive watched the move several times & it never gets old . My town of Gloucester, mass also has a move called The perfect storm we lost 6 of our boys to the sea . They never found the fishing boat she was basically swallowed up by the sea . The only thing from the 4oo ft ship was a distress beacon wthe the name the Andrea gail on it .
Asking how she is doing after just seeing the film about her and Lane's life was responded brilliantly by Kellie when she said it's not over yet. You don't just get over something like that in a matter of days or months or even years for some people. We all heal differently, and that was a rude question to have asked her. Kellie and Tuff handled it with grace.
