Do you all wish as much as I do that movies like this were still being made today. This movie was made before my time but they are so much better than the ones being made these days. The 70s and eight's and really most of the 60s movies and even TV series were just so much better. Thank you for the upload CF. New subscriber here by the way.

I saw this film when it originally aired on ABC as their Movie of the Week, and I have a clear memory of attending school the next day and it being the predominant topic of discussion among my classmates. Some years later, I taped it, a VHS copy I retain to this day. The House That Would Not Die has become a part of my yearly Halloween ritual, watched at 3:30 in the afternoon as if I've just come home from school. It helps if it's a cool, crisp autumn afternoon, and I have a decent assortment of Fun Size bars in the holiday bowl! Thank you so much for resurrecting this old movie and sharing it, so I need not explain myself to the generations following my own. As for the "stupid interruptions", for those of your selections I remember and don't need to see again I find myself skating along the progress bar at the bottom of the screen and watching only the content you work so hard to put together for our entertainment. I'm an independent filmmaker myself, so I can fully appreciate the lengths you go to for your art. And yes, Tangella is lovely to look at. I only wish she was geographically closer to where I'm living now, as I have a working M1928A1 Thompson submachinegun I think she might enjoy... I like bad girls, which explains why I'm still single...

    Great Outside shot .
Less the trees and overgrowth on the house .

Ghosts are probably yelling " Good Night , John Boy ! " .

I remember these ABC Movie Specials, too. We had a lot more interesting stuff on regular network TV back then. There wasn't the choice of what to watch like now. The three big networks ABC, NBC and CBS were all we got with the exception of a few local independent channels sprinkled in. KBHK TV Channel 44 and KOFY TV 20 and PBS KQED Channel 9, was pretty much it. So movie productions that were "made for TV" was EVERYTHING. Yaaassss!

Very good. Unusual to see a tv film from the early 70s in such perfect HD, but not only that - it is in its original 4:3. So many early films are spoilt by having 25% of their picture stripped away for showing in 16:9. This one hasn’t had that misfortune. More tv films from the 70s would be wonderful!

I've only recently discovered years delight and subscribed to your RUclips channel and congratulate you for carrying on a grand tradition. Have you ever seen or reviewed a little movie called "Motocross Zombies From Hell"? I think you may find it a worthy and earnest little subject for consideration. Kind regards to you all.

Love the movie, did anyone else think Barbara Stanwyck was perfect. When about 5 minutes in she came down the stairs just like in Bonanza? Great weekend thanks sent you an e-mail of Ghost Story hope it helps get it on your show. Once again great job everybody!!! Thanks again to your guest can't wait to see her again on the show.
    See you next weekend.
