This episode is one of many that show why the show got bad after awhile. The pandering to Sheldon became completely nonsensical other then he was the breakout character

Sheldon had to grow up very fast to the point he went wild. Regular Sheldon is adorable and tolerable. Drunk Sheldon is hilarious. Sick Sheldon let’s just say people got even such as Penny getting injured and giving Shelly a taste of his medicine
The most unrealistic thing about this show is that no one would put up with Sheldon as long as these guys have. I would’ve realized this isn’t worth it within 5 seconds of meeting him.
For real, they were nothing but a bunch of pushovers who let Sheldon use them as punching bags. Then again, they were bullied constantly in their childhood so it makes sense that they’d continue to tolerate a bully in their adulthood
There was a “Die Sheldon Die” in Leonard’s room when he first got in the apartment any sane person would have left at that point.
Esp after seeing "DIE SHELDON DIE" in Blood-Red on a Wall.
I watch these just in the hopes I’ll hear “Soft Kitty” being sung.

it's crazy this show is almost 20 years old since it launched. that's almost just as long as NSYNC's hiatus. Now they're back.
Sheldon insulted everyone who was helping him when he was sick because the stuff they did for him apparently wasn't good enough. Penny made his bed, made his breakfast, and checked his mouth for thrush but she doesn't rub that lotion stuff on his chest and he basically calls her a whore. Bernadette came to his apartment with their latest flu care package, he called it a joke, and sneezed in Howard's face. Raj and Emily wanted to take a look at him and he insulted her profession and called Raj an irritating patch of brown skin. Leonard made him chicken and star soup when he asked for chicken noodle which was the same thing just with different shaped pasta but no it had to be exactly what he wanted. The problem with Sheldon's mind is he doesn't know the things he's saying are mean, inconsiderate, and disrespectful which is the only reason his friends put up with him because it's not his fault
For someone who is so afraid of other people's germs Sheldon certainly doesn't care about spewing his germ filled saliva in Howard's face. And he absolutely knows he's being inconsiderate. He insults them on purpose, or did you not watch the video. He is the most ungrateful self-absorbed person on the planet.

When I first watched tbbt Sheldon was my favourite character and I thought he was so cool and so not like the others but after rewatching it after few years I realised how shitty his personality is and I would not stand a friend like him
Love how any epsidoe where sheldon is sick, he's happy to cough all over everyone and everything not worrying about getting others sick which in turn could come circling back to him!
I would have loved seeing a "Code Milky Green" reference or moment in this episode, dang was such a great opportunity missed.

I don’t care what their relationship with me would be, my rule for dealing with sick people would be if they’re able to move, see, and breathe, they’re able to take care of themselves when sick.
So what if they got sick and was recovering from an injury that prevents them from moving at the same time? Like a person has a cold around the same time they fractured a disk in their back from a hard fall?

"Funny" isn't the word I would use. One thing I hate is that Sheldon never loses. Jim Parsons must have it written in his contract that his character must always come out the winner. Just once I want to see him end up beaten.

I partially agree with you. But his attitude were toned down in the later seasons. He has learned to apologize sincerely in the same episode thanks to Amy and he finally gave his friends credit for helping him win the Nobel prize at the end of the series.
